Great to see this bandwagon roll on. Their rapid expansion model now ensures that you are never more than a 10 minute stroll from a Bunsen on the south side of Dublin's city centre. I ate here on the opening weekend and the cheeseburger/fries combo hit the spot as ever. No change on the menu. Still the best burger in town. Bunsen has been earning a reputation in Dublin as a premium burger "joint" for the hungry hippos. With a functional menu of just two options, Bunsen's stripped-down style could put some off. I came with my co-workers while in town for a conference. I'm the one in the group with the food allergies, so I was really happy to find a burger place with gluten free buns! We sat down, not realizing the menu was a business card sitting on the table. The menu is very simple, which is nice. The food was great, and the fries are in their own fryer so safe for celiac. We didn't have to wait long for the food and the server was really helpful and friendly. It was a nice day so we sat outside under the cover. I am officially obsessed with this burger. I got a double cheeseburger with a side of fries and sweet potato fries. The burger might be the best one I've had thus far in Dublin. I'm craving it a little bit right now just thinking about it. In terms of side dishes, the sweet potato fries were WAY better than the regular fries. The burgers are great! They are thick and juicy! The menu is the size of a business card...literally and therefore you'd think nothing could really go wrong however they did mixed up my order with my boyfriends (how its cooked and toppings were confused). I order it cooked well done while my boyfriend ordered medium well. My boyfriend didn't mind but I personally like my burgers cooked all the way through. They did correct my order however I had to wait a bit longer to get it while I urged my boyfriend to eat his while it's hot. They did take off some of the bill and they were very nice about the situation. It is a bit pricey for a burger but it's well worth it. Would recommend anyone to go! read more

No this place is not called the Bunsen Burner although it should be called the Bunsen Burger because it's food is on fire, really good! The staff are super friendly. Wifi is free all you have to do is ask for the passcode. It can accommodate for any size group, however if you have a large group I would recommend booking a table in advance to steer away from disappointment. Let me talk about the food. If you are a vegetarian I'm afraid this is not the place so you. However, if you love meat then you've found a home away from home. Bunsen has the most epic burgers, bursting with colourful flavours. Simple menu. They sell burgers and chips. The burgers are really juicy and full of flavour and come in a lovely steamed brioche bun. Very melt in the mouth. The chip options are shoe string fries, hand cut fries and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries are gorgeous but over priced. This is a good place to come on a date (if your comfortable stuffing your face) or to go with a few friends for a bite to eat. The staff and really nice and always friendly. You can order your burger Meduium, Medium-Well or Well done. personally I like Medium-Well as the burger patty is still super juicy, I felt the medium is just a little too red for me but go for it if thats what you like! cant wait to go here again for some grub and a beer! I've had the pleasure of eating in a couple of their establishments and thankfully the quality hasn't faltered as they've expanded their burger empire. We also occasionally have these delivered to our work place and they're by far the most sought after food when we get free lunch.
