The service here was absolutely phenomenal and they have a great selection of ice cream. After trying a few, I went with a scoop of triple peanut butter and a scoop of pistachio. Bith were absolutely fantastic. The ambiance here is all in purple, or I guess it would be violet. Not sure why the name, but pleasant enough. Oviedo has some amazing ice cream places. In addition to Violets Ice Cream Boutique, youu have Kelly's a few miles up the road and they just opened a Handel's. Oviedo is becoming an Ice cream destination. I would definitely recommend Violets Ice Cream Boutique and I will give it five stars.

Updating this review from five years ago. Kelly's has been a staple in my household for a long time…read morenow. We actually started keeping a log on all the flavors we've tried, because we want to avoid repeats if we can. And just when I think Kelly might be slipping, they bust out fighting again with new flavors that just blow my mind. This particular location is my homebase. It's in the perfect location. I could walk there if I wanted to. Ambiance is nice and clean, with a bunch of tables and a little area outside for the kids to play, and maybe even see one of Oviedo's last remaining chickens/roosters. Service is always good. Everyone gets samples, and everyone gets huge scoops. The price has gotten up there in the past couple of years, but I feel like the scoop size also has to compensate for it. As for the ice cream itself, it's always top notch. Their flavors aren't just vanilla or chocolate ice cream with stuff stuffed in it. Their ice cream bases are often unique, too, like spice mocha coffee ice cream, peanut butter ice cream, blueberry ice cream, etc. And then you add in the mix-ins, the swirles, there's sometimes extra crumbles sprinkled on top. The Bourbon Ball flavor that they just released is one of their best flavors of all time. Kelly's is one of Orlando's OGs, and they do a good job continuing to reinvent themselves.

Crave Cookies is better than Crumbl!!!!!…read more These flavors are better and less artificially sweet tasting compared to Crumbl's cookies. In terms of pricing, the cookies are just as expensive but they're huge so you can probably split them between two people. My personal favorites were the Biscoff and Reeses cookies and they reheated very well in the microwave. I also tried their Dr. Pepper dirty soda and it was quite good. The ambiance is definitely a quick service/grab-and-go type of vibe as there's not a lot of space to sit and hang out or study. The service was exceptional as the workers were very friendly and readily available to answer questions about flavors and fan favorites. Overall, I would return to Crave cookies for a sweet treat.

My colleagues and I sat in a table while I waited for my ice cream. It came a couple minutes later, and it was just as good as the last time I came. So sweet and creamy. It tasted natural and homemade, with the amazing taro flavor. There were also 3 nice scoops of the ice cream, so I insisted my colleagues to take a bite as well. It was sinfully good! The service was still good and the atmosphere looked kid friendly with board games available. I also saw a board where customers could write messages, but didn't see a marker available. I still really enjoy the ice cream at Ice & Bites, and really need to try different flavors and their teas as well. This was an amazing end to a great dinner with my awesome colleagues. Overall: A

We had such a great experience at Ice & Bites Café! Three things really stood out right away…read more First, the ice cream flavors were amazing. You can tell the quality is there -- super flavorful, creamy, and not overly artificial tasting. Every bite was rich and satisfying, and honestly I couldn't even wait to take a proper picture before digging in. Second, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They clearly love what they do. They took their time recommending flavors, let us try different samples, and made the whole experience feel fun instead of rushed. That level of friendliness really makes a place memorable. And lastly, I LOVED that they had games available to play. Such a cute and thoughtful touch! It made the visit feel more like a cozy hangout than just a quick dessert stop. Sitting there, playing games, and enjoying good ice cream was such a vibe. Overall, such a sweet little spot with great energy, great service, and delicious ice cream. Definitely a place I'd come back to again and again.

Staff do a great job keeping tables and chairs clean for new customers coming in. The café is very cute, clean, organized, and staff are super friendly. They have a variety of items to choose from - sundae's, affogato, Ice cream floats, ice cream latte's, shaved Ice, milkshakes, tea, hot chocolate, coffee, protein shakes, and more. I have to admit that it is a bit pricy. A junior ice cream scoop is $5.25; a single scoop is $6.25; a mini sundae is $9.70 and a regular sundae is $12.20+. An Americano coffee is $4.15 and a café con leche is $5.65. Iced latte's café's run between $6.25 - $7.00. An Affogato is $9.20 and an Ice cream float is $8.70. We went all-in on the Banana Split to share ($14.66 with tax minus tip). When you add-in the tip it's about the price of a lunch item at one of my regular stops during the week. Staff did an excellent job preparing our banana split and we appreciate that we were able to choose the ice cream of our choice; we selected the Totally Coconut, Felicita Brownie, and Rocket Toffee Crunch; the Totally Coconut was my favorite out of the three. All-n-all, we had a great experience and really enjoyed our Banana Split. I would definitely come back again next time I'm in the area. If I lived here it would have to be a special treat because it is expensive; regardless, I highly recommend them if you are in the area and looking for a sweet treat.

I'm honestly both happy and sad that I found this place. The customer service was amazing! I did not get the name of the girl the first time I went, but the last time I went, I was helped by Kevin and he was awesome! Both workers helped me with any questions I had. I went with the dark Vietnamese coffee, and it was so good! I might even venture to say one of the best I've ever had... and I've had a lot of Vietnamese coffees from a lot of different places. The shop is clean and decorative. It is very calm and comfortable. I should know because I got caught in a rain storm and lounged on the couch for a minutes sipping my coffee... even though Kevin offered me an umbrella. I did eventually take him up on that, and he even walked me to my car to retrieve the umbrella! I've never had customer service like that from a tea shop! Or anywhere actually lol. My girlfriend loves their Boba and she says is the best she's ever had. She gets it in her Thai tea. The last Vietnamese coffee I had (because I went three days in a row ) was so good that I forgot to even take a picture. I know it was a dark Vietnamese coffee with a salted foam on top...think I may have added hazelnut as well. Oh! So why am I sad? This is the only location in the southeast and I don't even live in Florida let alone Oviedo/Orlando area. So if you get the chance...GO THERE! They have so many other things I didn't even get a chance to try. I can assure you if I'm ever back in town this will be one of my first stops.
