Evelyn's saved the day! I was denied access with my service dog at a different place, an inn…read morerestaurant by the lake because of her breed and because she wasn't wearing a vest or have paperwork (not required). She's a staffy bull terrier - a tiny thing compared to labs/Golden's. I don't like her wearing a vest because the way I walk already makes me self conscious and I don't want to call more attention to my disability. I'd prefer she wear sparkly collars and cute tee's so people focus on that. I always try to request outdoor patio seating, even though I'm allowed indoor seating, because dogs on patios are more common/socially acceptable. I get it, some people don't like dogs in restaurants, so I try & be respectful and not act entitled or demanding. Needless to say, I was feeling pretty crappy about what happened earlier. But my friend called ahead and we were told we were welcome. I'm so glad we didn't give up & tried to find a new restaurant! The food was so good as were our drinks - I had rose and my friend had their homemade wine spritzer which I tasted and it was so yummy. The olive tapenade was the best I've ever had. I had an asparagus grilled cheese. I never thought I'd ever have that, but the cheese/veggie combo was delish. The service was outstanding, friendly and attentive! The back patio is sooo cute and enjoyable! I did not know there was a direct entrance from the parking lot to the patio behind the building. We arrived street-side through the front door and it was a narrow steep stairwell downstairs to the patio. I kind of panicked because I get vertigo from a spinal injury & my wrists & knees are very weak still. But, we made it! Just remember there is an alternate entrance if perhaps you have elderly guests in your party. In conclusion, we had a wonderful night and I was so happy to get out of the house and catch up with my friends. We will be back for sure, and my friends and I will be telling everyone about this gem of a wine bar/bistro!!

Absolutely wonderful food. Recently moved to the Buffalo area from CA and have tried many…read morerestaurants in the past few weeks, this was my absolute favorite by far! Can't wait to come by again soon.

I mean what's not to love? Farm to table, seasonal menu, amazing food, efficient service, kind…read moreservers, and a beautiful setting. Main Street Farmer Eatery has it all. This is a place we look forward to trying every time the season changes (and definitely the place your local family/friends want gift cards to). My fiancé had the Bahn Mi, I had the Beef Braised Tacos, and we shared the pierogis. Everything was great (and we loved the selection of NA cocktails)! Perfect for a date night

I have always loved Main Street Farmer, which is what makes this review tough to write. Since we…read moremoved to Minnesota, we've eaten here at least a couple of times a year, but unfortunately, each visit over the last few years has become a little more challenging. On this visit, the service felt scattered and slow. We waited about 45 minutes from ordering until we received our food, and even then, the plates came out with an 8-10 minute gap between them. When the food did arrive, it wasn't hot. The portion sizes also seem to have changed significantly. The American chicken portion was surprisingly small--similar to what you might expect from a kids' meal. What made the experience stand out even more was that we had recently eaten at Olio in Bayport at a similar price point. The difference in service, portion size, attention to detail, and having food arrive fresh and hot was pretty noticeable. I've always had a soft spot for this place, so I genuinely wonder if there has been a change in ownership or management. I've kept coming back hoping our previous experiences were just an off night, but after several disappointing visits, I think I finally have to put a fork in it. My pictures and memories tell a different story....
