Math has always been a sore spot for him--especially with his slower processing speed--but the support, patience, and structure provided by the Huntington team has made a difference in both his skills and, more importantly, his willingness to keep trying. What stands out most is the level of personal investment the instructors make in each student. Mr. Justin, in particular, has gone out of his way to understand how my son learns and where he needs extra reinforcement. It never feels like a one-size-fits-all program; it's truly tailored support that meets him where he's at and helps him move forward at his pace. As a parent, my biggest concern has always been that he not only improves academically, but also feels capable of keeping up with his peers--and Huntington has been key in helping us move toward that goal. I trust their approach, and we're fully committed to continuing with their program. I can't recommend Huntington Education enough. They've been a steady and positive partner for our family.

He loves the instructors, particularly Oren, who is extremely patient and is great at explaining complex concepts. Matthew, the current director, is excellent at running the center and is highly responsive to the needs and concerns of kids and parents alike. Previous center directors (shout out to Nathan, Andrew, and Robbie) have also been fantastic. We honestly could not have survived Math all of these years if it wasn't for Mathnasium. Everyone there is kind, approachable, and well- qualified. I highly recommend this center. They are outstanding.

She then prepared us to be academically ready for the private school curriculum, and even now, we are doing remote tutoring 3X a week and my son is really excelling. He received high honors (3.74 GPA) on his first report card in middle school n before that was just a B level student. This school pushes challenging academics and they really make their students earn their grades. We would never have been prepared for this type of curriculum had we not been constantly receiving enrichment from Elevate. I've told Serena that I was willing to pay full price even though we are totally remote and still it is so worth it. She's accommodating and extremely organized with scheduling while working so hard to advocate for both of my kids. Don't get me wrong, we have found a handful of really excellent tutors to work with us in person while we are in Hawaii. However none of them offer the services that Serena does, STEM classes, coding classes, book clubs, contests, pre-k tutoring, and she even worked to throw a private party for my son.... as that is what he wanted. We are never leaving as long as my kids are enrolled in school.

The school also provides a wide variety of enriching activities, including science fairs, carnivals, puppet shows, bubble shows, and animal petting events where the children can ride ponies and interact with rabbits and other animals. The school also hosts special Mother's Day and Father's Day breakfast events that make families feel very involved and welcomed. Every year, the winter and spring performances are what I look forward to the most. It is truly impressive to see a group of 4-year-olds confidently perform three English songs, one Chinese song, one Spanish song, and even a dance routine on stage. The children always look so confident and joyful. This year, my child will be graduating, and I am incredibly grateful to Ms. Joanna and Ms. Regina. They are warm, energetic, patient, and genuinely caring teachers. The classroom environment they create is loving and harmonious, and the children are kind and supportive toward one another. I'm pretty much a beginner when it comes to swimming but my coach made sure I felt comfortable and safe in the water. My coach brought all the equipment needed for the lesson so it's super hassle-free. I was initially intimidated by the deeper end of the pool but my coach has always been very patient and encouraging and stayed right next to me the whole time to make sure I'm safe. I mentioned I was preparing for an upcoming trip since it will involve a lot of water activities and my coach really catered the lessons to my needs. I genuinely appreciate how patient my coach is, if I don't get a particular technique right away, we would try different variations and my coach would always remind me of the key points to remember. In the Pasadena location, it's an indoor pool that's heated and there are changing rooms available. Onsite parking in the lot is another plus! We must have spent $1000+ but it did not work. 5yr old spent her lessons screaming and crying. It got very stressful and traumatic for ME! We also kept switching teachers at Waterworks...some were just not as good with kids. I've come to conclusion that places like Waterworks has a business model to keep you paying for lessons not necessarily getting your kids watersafe. Then we heard about Grace on the Irvine Mom Facebook board. I told her @ my 5 yr old. Immediately she CUSTOMIZED her teaching method and brought in toys. She is always smiling and calm with my daughters. And this is key with my 5 yr old who hated the pool. Grace also ask parents what the focus should be- swim safe or technique. Net net in just 2 months of private lessons- both girls love and ask to go to the pool. My 7 yr old can swim around by herself and my 5 yr old is no longer afraid. Plus Grace is super responsive with text & email, flexible with schedule changes. Other places are not. Only downside is I wish Grace had more Irvine hours. She splits her time her and San Gabriel Valley. I will definitely resume lessons with her the coming Spring.
