Because I've seen other companies switch things up and everything goes downhill after that. So far, this has been extremely effective and consistent. Also, at this point you'd think the company would offer a credit or do something as an apology for the inconvenience (seriously you stuck your collections agency on me when I had a valid payment on file and you messed up). They haven't done a thing. And for the record. I was a client for almost five years and never missed a payment or had any problems with the company. Having thought this was long…read moresince behind me... after 8 years as a LOYAL customer with many referrals, I get a notice from Transunion Credit 1.5 years later, they received a collection referral for $151, or twice the amount of the disputed amount...of which I have a previously confirmed visa payment of $75. The other $85 was disputed with Visa and was successfully granted for the second identical service conducted 2 days later! WARNING TO EXISTING NEWMANNS CUSTOMERS, if you ever have any issues, be VERY cautious about reporting them as they could threaten to cancel and raise your monthly rates. Sadly, after losing a long-term great customer, and now others whom I had previously refereed, over a one time $85 service issue, it has led to this end. It appears to me that my best path forward is to head to small claims court to attempt to get this permanently resolved. Here's the kicker.... I have received 2 separate emails wanting to know if I want to schedule another service as it has been a 120 days since my last service!!
