A spritz of Chanel no.5 is attached to the drink. Grandma's Gun is hot and strong mulled wine. And finally we had the No Blood Only Lipstick which was the most expensive drink on the menu but worth every sip. The service is wonderful! Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Gender neutral restrooms. While the drinks are spendy, it's definitely worth the experience. If in Lawrence it's worth a stop.

This drink was so refreshing. It's a great drink for spring and summer. I highly recommend this drink! My boyfriend tried the Fugue State: Old overholt rye, bigallet China-china, tiki bitters, Lambrusco, and orange peel. He liked it and said it was like an old fashioned. That is now available next door at the connected Jade Bar restaurant. Jade Bar not only provides full service, but also has a full bar, including Woodbridge wines by the bottle or glass. The table service is excellent and very helpful. They have two menus: the regular menu and the authentic Chinese menu. Since the server is so helpful with selections, it is best to request both menus. We ordered the clam soup, which is available only on the authentic menu. We expected soup containing canned clams. We were pleased to receive a large bowl of soup, enough for two or more to share, containing fresh clams in the shells. The menus are the same as in Jade Garden, but the choices are made much easier by the table service. In addition, you do not pay until you are done, while in Jade Garden, you are expected to pay when you order at the counter. For dinner, the atmosphere in the Jade Bar is much better than in Jade Garden. Jade Bar also contains separate rooms for Karaoke, if you are into that. First the bartender refused to serve anyone beer - we had IDs, but they seemed offended that my family was speaking Spanish. Then they accused us of not having safe drivers for my kids(! - because of the Spanish?) and claimed we were "clearly drunk". No one in our group had had a drink all day, (this was 6pm and they were refusing to serve us). After feigning concern for the safety of my children and falsely accusing me of being drunk, they kicked us out. This was the most insulting and shoddy treatment I have ever received in a bar. The owner's racism left me embarrassed for my guests - I will never return, I recommend you don't go.
