It is now a ritual for me to swing by this store and get some goodies. The beer nuts are yummy with the sweet honey coating on them. I also love popcorn and the flavours are yummy. Today, a new clerk was checking me out at the cash. The customer before me was rude to the clerk but he acted neutrally. When it was my turn, I asked which cash we would be using and where I should put my basket because it's really awkward and painful to have to keep bending down to get items. He responded in a condescending manner that most people only buy 1-2 items and basically nobody uses the carts. I responded by suggesting they put a small bench at the front right under the cash on the customer side so we could put our baskets down while we unload groceries. He basically scoffed at me. So sad! Not sure if I will give anymore business to them!! Don't want to be belittled during my grocery trips.

I remember seeing peanuts, pecans, cashews, and almonds, and they have different each one in different flavours. They also have chocolate blueberries, cherries, raisins, cranberries, and clusters. Best to just go and check it out for yourself as I can't remember all their products. You won't be disappointed! They're all fairly priced as well. Most items are about 125g to 200g for $2.99. Some products come in a smaller and larger package. Must-try items: peanuts enrobed in a crispy potato chip shell and caramel crisp clusters They're highly addictive! The caramel crisp clusters were so good that I almost finished the entire box in one sitting. Soft chewy caramel dipped in chocolate with little crispy pieces! Craving it from just thinking about it. The crispy potato chip peanuts come in many flavours and I have never seen it being sold anywhere else! Super crispy shell! They have little containers of peanuts on the shelf above some products for you to try before purchasing. They have the crispy potato shell for sunflower seeds too, but there are less flavours to choose from. I believe they also sell ice cream during the summer and the staff are very friendly. St. Jacobs is a beautiful quaint little town near Waterloo so aside from going to Picard's, you can also stop by the town (another 2-3 minute drive). Definitely worth visiting!

You must either carry their basket or push a cart around. Both are big and bulky and patrons end up running into each other or hitting one another in the very narrow aisles. And if you try to avoid the policy, their security and will hassle you. I understand that theft has been an issue, but when I show up at the cashier to pay for my purchases, I don't expect to treated with distain and scorned for having no basket.

They do have a Starbucks inside Longos with is an added bonus, it has a few chairs and tables too for customers to relax before or after their shopping. I absolutely love their fresh seafood section and.You can basically find anything from live lobsters to scallop and fish.The pricing is right too. They also have a hot meal bar and a fresh salad bar.Hot meal bar keeps changing its menu daily and is very fresh but can get $$$.I mean I'm not a big eater and anytime I made myself a lunch with just a bit of something I always end up paying $8 plus dollars. Overall it's a very clean and friendly store.Each one the staff members are helpful and great at customer service.I go there so often that by now I know a few by names :)
