Visit 1: I received a quote that would not have addressed my issue. I was going to sign it but my father came over and showed me the issue is not covered by the quote. The quote was near 30K. I could have spent 30K and not had my issue addressed. Visit 2 I had to argue with a manger to get him to come back to my house so he could see the quote would not address my issue. He wanted me to just take it and add on if new things came up blind, but I cant do than when we are off by 10's of thousands. I got him to come out, he confirmed my quote was not covering repairing my issue. He confirmed 3 separate times with 2 different people at my house that he would follow up with a new quote and then left. After several weeks I reached out to find out where the quote was and he said he couldn't do the work. Do not recommend, nothing they say is true. Not the quotes, not the I'll get back to you. Our initial inquiry was sent on a Saturday, but the owner, Ruy Barbosa, replied within an hour. He met us the following workday to go over our needs and discussed various options. He projected confidence at being able to renovate our deck yet maintain its overall look. He was willing to work with us and the city's historic commission to preserve some key features of the deck. During the course of the work, Ruy and his staff were responsive to questions or changes that we requested. Communication with them was great. They were eager to please us and found ways to make the project stay on-time and within budget, even when curve balls were thrown at them. Overall, they renovated our dilapidated deck boards with composite flooring. They removed heavy railings and pillars, completely overhauled the structural supports, installed the composite flooring and finally replaced the railings & pillars. Additionally, we had them pressure wash and paint the deck. The cost associated with the structural supports and flooring was very much in line with what we believed was reasonable. They were supposed to build a new rubber roof. It started leaking on 3 separate occasions (which btw was never fully fixed -- we moved on to different contractors who did address the issues). And like I said, it would take months for them to actually come back and attempt to fix anything. Often they'd come by, look at the damage, then I wouldn't hear from them for multiple weeks. Meanwhile, more damage continues to accrue to the walls and ceilings. The internal fixes they applied for the water damage were just patch jobs. They just plastered and painted over. Meanwhile, the insulation behind the wall was soaked and accrued black mold that we had to address later. Also worth pointing out a major blunder at the beginning of the project (see attached videos and pics). They opened up the roof, and left it open for multiple days without doing any work. Well of course a major rainstorm came by (which was on the weather forecast well in advance). Alll that water poured into the house in the middle of the night setting off fire alarms. It was a nightmare to deal with on my end.

Joe and Joe installed the 9 Harvey double hung Classic windows in less than one day and came back the following week when Joe and Dave installed 4 trapezoid double pane custom windows made by Harvey. I was very impressed with their work. Everything went beyond my expectations. Each day they made sure everything was cleaned up so there was no mess for me. All the old windows were removed. We got to see exactly what the room would look like with a visual rendering, and what would need to be done to our foundation to be able to withstand the room being installed. His crew took longer than originally anticipated but we weren't occupying the house at that time, and the pace yielded fine workmanship. Pricing was as-promised with the exception of a plumbing fix required to meet Narragansett code. Craig was happy to work the with materials we chose and the result is a beautiful, fully functioning bathroom that wows every visitor.
