Out of the companies we requested quotes from we had 2 companies that never responded, one that came out and said they would send a quote and never did (even after i requested one several times) and a couple that came out and sent quotes but told use they had to cap off our sprinkler system or used dirt under the turf (cheapest way to install and odors will build up). Need to have the sprinklers....hello we live in Texas and go months without rain and the foundation to our home has to be watered. Through this process Bo confirmed everything that we found in our research and used the processes and materials we were looking for. This is a large investment and we wanted to make sure it would be done correctly. No understood that and boy! Let me tell you...they did an AMAZING job! There are a lot of fly by night companies or companies that will steal your money and leave you high and dry.....this is not one of them. After comparing quotes, I decided to go with Magnolia based on the price for the quality of turf that I had installed. The other company was cheaper (by maybe $150, so not too much cheaper), but the competitor's turf just didn't feel the same and it would have been twice as expensive to get the same quality product that Magnolia offered! After accepting their quote, David booked me about four weeks out since they had other projects going on (it would have been a very bad sign if he said he could start tomorrow!). A week later, he called me to say that one of the big project was delayed so he was able to do my two-day project that week! In a hurry to get some grass in my backyard (more accurately, a mud pit) after my dog tore the St. Augustine to shreds, I immediately told him the new timeline would work. His crew arrive right on time the first day of the project and David was right there with them to make sure that everything started off as it should. Along the way, we ran into an issue with my plumbing system which had a crack in the pipe, but the crew was able to fit the issue and keep the project moving along on schedule. The installation crew could not have been kinder, more professional or have done a better job. My lawn looks absolutely amazing now and our dog like it more than my wife and I do!
