I'm not going to add the before pictures, but the old bathroom was in complete disrepair, poorly laid out, and badly dated--the results, we feel, are beautiful and functional. Sean and I selected the tiles and fixtures--Carlos was very flexible with building our vision for the space. CNTC was creative working around constraints such as proximity to the foundation, immobile ducting, and drain lines for the upstairs bathroom. The mission was to rip out carpet and marry up to existing Brazilian Cherry, which we wanted extended, and refinished to match. We met with Vagher and 2 other recommended companies. Vagher was competitive, not the low bid, but it was clear Mike knew his stuff. He sets expectations and commitments which he plans to meet. He let us know right away his schedule and how to get on his calendar. He and his team showed up on the day he committed and worked full days until the job was done. These guys take pride in their work. They called me when they needed our opinion on something and made suggestions based on experience and current trends. They included dust mitigation in the big which worked out nicely. They cleaned up after themselves and prepped trim for paint, you'll want to plan to touch up or repaint trim after the job. This project required us to move everything out of kitchen and living areas and Vagher's needed additional room in the garage too. They have all the right tools and it's obvious from the results they know how to use them. If you have a project where good craftsmanship matters most, these guys are a good option. Katie laid an epoxy coating in our commercial kitchen and "stained" the concrete floors in our…read morecommercial dining room last July. We decided to use Katie because of her knowledge and understanding of what we were looking for in a durable floor. We were very happy with the results at first, but that quickly faded and has led to months of frustration and disappointment. Katie was supposed to smooth the surface of our commercial kitchen before laying the epoxy coating. She did not and now our kitchen has tons of divots that makes it difficult to clean the floor. She has offered to fix the kitchen floor, if we pay for the product and move everything out of our commercial kitchen. This requires a lot more time and money. The "stain" Katie uses is more like a paint. We've only been allowing indoor dining for a couple of months, so our floors should look close to pristine. There's large patches of "stain" missing everywhere you look. We spent months trying to get Katie out just to look at the floors. She finally offered to patch up the areas of missing "stain", but just doing large patches of touch up will look horrible. At this point, our floor is not salvageable and Katie is unwilling to redo the entire floor. We are very frustrated and disappointed. This has been a huge waste of time and money. Find someone that will do the job right the first time.
