The Goddard School of Gilbert - East Germann

This review is overdue! I can't say enough good things about Goddard on East Germann. From the day…read moreof our tour, Ms. Penny made time to meet with us and made us feel completely at ease. Being a first time parent and transitioning your child from being with you 24/7 to daycare is tough, for child and parent alike. What I found incredibly helpful was the time Ms. Penny took to answer all of our questions and make us feel confident in our decision. The transition was very smooth, our little one runs to the door every time we say it's time for school. He often just runs straight into the classroom, already busy playing, a true reflection of his teachers' supportive and caring nature. He is confident and at ease, and what's been most surprising is how much his knowledge and learning continue to expand. From watching him dance with his classmates to fun tunes, to seeing him replicate that at home, or hearing him point to our eyes and ears and say the words, every day feels like he develops a new skill. His vocabulary and social skills are both continuously growing. Although leaving your child to go to work never gets easier, I have full peace of mind knowing he is in the right hands. We are constantly updated with pictures and videos from his day, along with fun events, dress-up days, learning milestones, and classroom activities. They also have an amazing backyard with real grass for the kids to run around in, and even a splash area during the summer. All in all, I couldn't recommend Goddard on East Germann enough and am endlessly grateful to Ms. Penny, his teacher Ms. Sydni and the amazing teachers who care for our son.

I was terrified to put my daughter In school as a first time mom. I actually couldn't handle the anxiety so I pulled her out after I was sobbing all day the first day she was gone. Well, penny and the staff were not only empathetic but made me feel comfortable doing things on my own time table. So when I decided to try again a week later I was welcomed with open arms. The quality of the teachers here feels more like a family. Everyone in the school helps each other. Miss Jazzy, Miss Caitlin, really every single teacher I have ever met has made me feel like home. They all know your child and love your child. Miss Wulan and Miss Ann Marie were her home room teachers and wow. These woman.. they don't make them like this anymore! Positive, loving, personal, engaged are only a few ways to describe them. They have been absolutely instrumental to Logan's growth and experience. She has thrived and become a social butterfly. These teachers never look tired and are always up beat. Ms Chrystal at the front desk always welcomes you with warmth and familiarity and never judged how many incident reports my daughter had. I was always met with comfort and understanding whenever I was worried about something my Daughter had done! And the school is owned and managed by Penny who is a GEM of a human being. These women are loving, smart, and are valued so much. They deserve the world and I'm so grateful to have found them. I'm forever in debt to this school and all it has done for myself and my daughter. Also, they know how much I love them and never once asked for a review. But if you are a nervous mom, or want an honest take, please ask penny for my number and I'd be happy to walk you through how they made this experience incredible.

We love love love love Spondeo, the administration, and Mrs. Tina!…read more Spondeo has been instrumental in our daughter's development over the last few years, and I truly can't imagine our experience with our first child's schooling anywhere else. From the assistant director to the head of school to every teacher and aide, everyone is wonderful with the kids and creates a warm, comfortable environment where they can learn and grow. These last 6 months have been challenging as we've navigated behavioral shifts with our daughter at home and at school. Mrs. Tina and the administration have been understanding, empathetic, and kind to her and our whole family, and they've been true partners in making sure she thrives. If you're looking for a teacher who lives and breathes Montessori, it doesn't get better than Mrs. Tina! Her passion shows, and it's amazing what the kids learn under her. Her classroom is full of wonderful materials, and she develops well-rounded little humans by teaching about different cultures and communities, having them care for classroom pets, grow vegetables in the garden, and always emphasizing friendship and kindness. If you want a school where you and your child are greeted by name every day, where staff are truly invested in your child's well-being and success, and where your child can learn in a safe, warm environment, I highly recommend Spondeo!!

We ******* love it here …read more School is located in a convenient spot. Very rarely any issues, all the children seem to get along with one another and the environment is very welcoming and accommodating. Student:Teacher ratio is decent but manageable. Met a lot of new families, many of whom we're still in contact with. The only reason we're no longer at the school is because we moved to a new place pretty far but would still go to Spondeo! Ms. Kim and Ms. Nicolette are both incredible. My little one absolutely loved being in class with them and would always look forward to school every day. Ms. Kim takes a lot of time to make sure each child is learning and cares for them immensely. Humble brag but my child is ahead of her peers at her new school and her teacher has mentioned how impressed she is seeing everything learned from Ms. Kim. My kid was reading at age 3, counting to 100 and simple addition by age 4. After two years of study my child is in the upper range for Kinder & 1st grade reading and math thanks to being in Ms. Kim's class. She's always been very transparent and keeps parents abreast of their little one's learning throughout the week and activities. Highly recommend Spondeo.

There's a real curriculum and structure, but the teachers weave so much genuine play and joy into everything the kids do. And the cleanliness? Top-notch. But what really keeps us coming back is the relationships. Our son started with Hannah, and they clicked instantly. Years later, our daughter had that same connection with her right away. Both kids have also been absolutely obsessed with Betsy and Fanny and they light up when they talk about them. We've also gotten to know some of the newer assistants like Kate and Ashlyn, and they've built such genuine bonds with both our kids. What impressed us most, though, is how the front office, Kim and Mon especially, make you feel genuinely cared for. We know turnover happens in daycares, and this team handles it really well. Because they're part of a larger network across multiple locations, teachers can transition between centers seamlessly. The kids often already know them or the teachers are deeply trained on the curriculum and processes, so they can jump right in and focus on what matters: the kids. That eases a lot of the uncertainty parents usually feel during transitions. The whole team makes you feel at home. That matters so much when you're trusting someone with your kids.

First, their rates are affordable, much less than large corporate chains. All employees and teachers here are incredibly friendly and great with children (something you think would be a given, but we investigated several places where the employees were not friendly, and didn't even seem interested in looking at, or talking to kids) The teaching curriculum is great and set up our son to be ahead starting kindergarten. I highly recommend Growing place to anyone who is concerned about how their children are treated at daycare and what they are getting back from preschool.

Dad just picked up from trial day, but I thought I would reach out to you as well. It was so nice meeting you today unfortunately, I don't think Ar'mias is ready for a preschool classroom that requires students to be potty trained. After spending the day with him, he definitely needs more one on one attention with a teacher assistant to officially potty train him, remind him to have gentle hands around his fellow students, assist him in keeping his shoes on both inside and outside the classroom for his safety, and to make certain he doesn't rip up books and other classroom belongings. I think you are definitely on the right track with getting him tested for speech and seeing what other ways the school district can assist you in your academic journey. Best wishes to you and your family! I instantly called her as this should have been a phone call and the message could have been delivered better. I'm all for feedback regarding my child but within FOUR hours of a 3 yr old TODDLER being in an unfamiliar place not knowing ANYONE this is what you came up with? there was not one positive thing said about my child in that whole message or phone call! I Wasn't going to write this review but as the days go by the lack of emotional intelligence has became overly disgusting! Choosing to be in the childcare industry....DO BETTER! Respectfully. My child was never asked to leave ANY facility. I withdrew him as the the cost was not equivalent to the hours we needed once enrolled in an actual school district. When we came to tour your "facility" we informed your employee that he did not have the potty training completely down as he still have accidents and needs frequent reminders. Which her response was if he's able to go, pull up his pants, and wash his hands he's considered potty trained. If it was said at the first viewing we would have NEVER sent him for a FREE trail day! But as you can see how she responds she's completely disrespectful and incompetent and so is the staff!!

The teacher's here are amazing, they really do care about the kiddos and every single child has a special spot in their hearts. If I had a child, I couldn't imagine bringing them any where else. The facility is top notch clean, always has new and fun educational toys, and every teacher is always wearing a smile and ready to endure a fun filled day! Julie Costello (who is the owner) is really an amazing, genuine, thoughtful, and caring person. She cares about the safety and well being of EVERY child there.
