I was so happy with our little visit! It makes me happy that the staff makes this experience fun for both kids and adults regardless of age! We needed a moment to feel special like kids again, and it was just perfect. There are strict and well enforced safety protocols in place to keep everyone safe, but it didn't take away from the experience a bit. Making a wish together, my husband and I, to put into this little stuffed lion, was a super tender moment. The staff was joyous and kind, and involved in the process. I choose a lion, and a Hufflepuff outfit for my buddy. I do wish there were more bear choices, and animal choices that were not all characters from shows and stuff. It would be cool to have more regular animals to choose from. Thanks for the fun!

Build a bear was a great experience. My niece is ill and we wanted to give her something to hold through her treatments. Staff were awesome!

The staff were so patient and understanding. They were very helpful and offered suggestions. We were so indecisive but they never showed frustration. This is a awesome place for a special gift. They took care of it everything and allowed us to find a quiet place to record our messages. I would most certainly do this again. My nieces were happy to get their gifts.

Came on a Friday evening and was pleasantly surprised that the store wasn't busy. I was immediately greeted by a staff member who took me step-by-step through the process of building my very own minion. All of the accoutrements were in stock and neatly organized. The stations to set the "bear's" personality, sound, and birth certificate worked very swiftly and were intuitive. I had a great minion-bear date and would definitely recommend this location to anyone who wants a fun build a bear experience. Great staff, great store!

I tried searching for playgrounds and this one never came up. It can be time consuming to search parks and the read through reviews to see if there is a playground or not. This one is located right next to Laurel Hills Park, but it has its own name and it is large enough that I am deeming it necessary to have its own page so voila! Here we go. This playground has several tables surrounding it where you can bring a picnic lunch and watch the kids play. Some are shaded but not all. The play equipment is highly accessible since there are ramps and walkways that are wide enough for strollers and wheelchairs. There are multiple swing sets including the full body chair swings. There are a few zipline-type rides, one that zips down and is designed to return you to the starting platform. There is a sandy area that you can use with beach toys. There is also a basketball half or quarter court with an adjustable height basket. There is plenty of equipment for kids to play on so it could easily keep kids busy for more than an hour. There is a community center that neighbors the playground as well. Rock on, Sassafrass!

Despite confirming details in advance and paying nearly $700, the event was disorganized from the start. We were given the wrong party room number, causing delays, and when the kids were ready to eat, the room and food were not prepared on time. The biggest issue was the ice cream. I had paid for ice cream for all guests, but only after the party started was I told they were out. I was advised mid party to buy something next door at Food Lion so my husband went to get ice cream--only for the manager to confront me in front of guests saying I couldn't serve it due to policy. After an embarrassing back‑and‑forth, they eventually allowed it, but the damage was done. My son's party was disrupted, and my guests witnessed unnecessary conflict. To make matters worse, billing confusion at the end left me feeling accused of not covering a guest, only for it to later be revealed as a miscommunication that left me feeling awkward because the venue involved the other family by calling them. The entire experience was stressful, embarrassing, and poorly handled. While the party host tried to be helpful, the management's lack of communication and professionalism ruined the celebration. I've been a loyal customer since they opened, but after this ordeal I am cancelling my membership. Customer service matters, and this event showed me Big Air Raleigh does not value it.

Interesting experience as I am writing this right now in their facility:…read more This is a fun place for the kids to come. This is my second time bringing my kids. We got checked in and my two girls ran up and started playing. My son and I straggled behind a few moments. Before reaching the trampolines, one of the employees stopped us and said my son cannot wear the socks he was wearing. He was wearing Galaxy Fun Park Sock (the competition). I asked why he couldn't wear those socks since they were in compliance with what was required in their facility (grip bottom socks). The employee said they were "Galaxy Socks" and that it's policy. After a moment of awkwardness, they gave my son some other socks at no charge. After walking past them, I looked at my two daughters and one was wearing Urban Air Socks and the other was wearing Galaxy Fun Park Socks. They were never stopped and told to change socks. As I'm sitting here writing this review (I was going to give them a 3-Star review for the awkward interaction and inconsistent experience) the same employee kindly just walked up to me and handed me two pairs of socks for my girls. I smiled at him and thanked him. All in all, I appreciate the consistent effort. They were kind about it. I'll be back, again.

I've definitely been to a few that I thought were overpriced for what you get. I highly recommend this place. It's super affordable ($10 per child to start and cheaper when you are paying for more than one kid, better value overall to get a monthly membership which I believe starts at $34 a month). It pays for itself if you just come here 3x a month or more. They've also got little snacks for sale up at the front desk and you can purchase socks for $1 (they've got music notes on them haha). We arrived early around 9:20am when the inflatable bounce houses were still getting filled but the doors were open and the person at the front desk said it was unexpectedly busy this morning! The place gets pretty busy but emptied out around 11:30 when I assume most people left to go get lunch/put kids down for nap time. Tons of cute little snack tables and chairs for the smaller kiddos and bigger ones for waiting parents/grandparents/caretakers etc. Lots of sanitizer on every counter. They also had Kleenex boxes out (they know their audience) and Clorox wipes at the front desk. There's 2 big bounce houses (a blue one and a red one). The red one is more for jumping and running around in circles and the blue one has a rainbow "floor" interior that is super fun to run across. There are also 2 karaoke rooms with an expansive music selection, colorful overhead lights, and microphones which you ask for from the front desk. They've got the giant piano on the floor like the one from the movie 'Big'. They've got music classes which I believe take place in the back near the restrooms. Love the giant guitar slide and it makes guitar sounds when you slide down. I went down the slide as well and it goes super quick!! I was definitely more scared going down than climbing up haha. Oh and they provide a shelf of croc sandals to wear if you need to rescue your frightened child (I made use of them). I could really go on forever about how amazing this place is. Absolutely exceeded expectations. Incredible experience and place and definitely will be returning!!

The play area is open and spaced out with a nice variety of musical things to play with. Before coming, I really was curious if there'd be enough to keep the little one interested. Big or little, the kids will be interested! By musical things, think less handheld instruments and more installments for lack of a better word, such as the interactive world map where touching the musical note plays music of that geographic location. The percussion pots and pans and bells room was a big hit. My toddler wasn't ready for the big guitar slide, with climbing handholds and bars, but was able to enjoy everything else, including the small slide. I found it easy to carry my infant around and plop him on the floor from time to time with little worry. Some bigger kids run around but there are many side areas that are safer for the wee babes. There's music playing in the background and of course sounds coming from the many installments, and children shrieking. But overall, I didn't find the sound to be too loud or nauseating like it can be in some restaurants and such. There's plenty of space to enjoy snacks outside of the play area and clean bathrooms. The staff I checked in with were quite friendly. Oh and I really thought the price per child to be reasonable compared to most other indoor museums and play places. We will definitely be back!
