Amazing!!! This was our first time here but it was the best indoor play place (not counting museums) that I've been to in NC! I've definitely been to a few that I thought were overpriced for what you get. I highly recommend this place. It's super affordable ($10 per child to start and cheaper when you are paying for more than one kid, better value overall to get a monthly membership which I believe starts at $34 a month). It pays for itself if you just come here 3x a month or more. They've also got little snacks for sale up at the front desk and you can purchase socks for $1 (they've got music notes on them haha). We arrived early around 9:20am when the inflatable bounce houses were still getting filled but the doors were open and the person at the front desk said it was unexpectedly busy this morning! The place gets pretty busy but emptied out around 11:30 when I assume most people left to go get lunch/put kids down for nap time. Tons of cute little snack tables and chairs for the smaller kiddos and bigger ones for waiting parents/grandparents/caretakers etc. Lots of sanitizer on every counter. They also had Kleenex boxes out (they know their audience) and Clorox wipes at the front desk. There's 2 big bounce houses (a blue one and a red one). The red one is more for jumping and running around in circles and the blue one has a rainbow "floor" interior that is super fun to run across. There are also 2 karaoke rooms with an expansive music selection, colorful overhead lights, and microphones which you ask for from the front desk. They've got the giant piano on the floor like the one from the movie 'Big'. They've got music classes which I believe take place in the back near the restrooms. Love the giant guitar slide and it makes guitar sounds when you slide down. I went down the slide as well and it goes super quick!! I was definitely more scared going down than climbing up haha. Oh and they provide a shelf of croc sandals to wear if you need to rescue your frightened child (I made use of them). I could really go on forever about how amazing this place is. I took my almost two year old here, with my younger babe in tow, for the first time today and they absolutely loved it. The play area is open and spaced out with a nice variety of musical things to play with. Before coming, I really was curious if there'd be enough to keep the little one interested. Big or little, the kids will be interested! By musical things, think less handheld instruments and more installments for lack of a better word, such as the interactive world map where touching the musical note plays music of that geographic location. The percussion pots and pans and bells room was a big hit. My toddler wasn't ready for the big guitar slide, with climbing handholds and bars, but was able to enjoy everything else, including the small slide. I found it easy to carry my infant around and plop him on the floor from time to time with little worry. Some bigger kids run around but there are many side areas that are safer for the wee babes. There's music playing in the background and of course sounds coming from the many installments, and children shrieking. But overall, I didn't find the sound to be too loud or nauseating like it can be in some restaurants and such. There's plenty of space to enjoy snacks outside of the play area and clean bathrooms. The staff I checked in with were quite friendly. Oh and I really thought the price per child to be reasonable compared to most other indoor museums and play places. My son loved it here. He was 9 when i took him to learn ukulele lessons. He really enjoyed playing beforehand in the main area. They have musical instruments for kids to play with an amazing slide. If you are working off ur laptop its pretty loud but u can bring headphones and watch ur child run around think its great for kids 2-10! read more

I absolutely love this play space! I booked it for my twins 2nd birthday party and we had so much fun. We were a little late arriving due to a delay with our catering order but the staff was extremely kind and welcoming and even set up the room for us so that we could focus on playing! I loved that the play space was secured by a gate so my toddlers and their friends couldn't escape the play area and it let us adults worry less! Came here for a kids birthday party. The play space is nice and open with lots of activities for different ages kids. I liked that music was incorporated into all the play equipment. My daughter liked climbing up the big slide and sliding down the most. When the kids went to another room for music time led by one of the staff, I think the staff who helped us was a bit too enthusiastic (too loud at time). Most of the kids were between 3 and 5 years old, and were already pretty good at making a lot of noise. Personally, the time in that room made my head hurt and my ears ring. Perhaps I'm just getting old. The space for the pizza and cake was a little cramped for about 20 kids (and parents). It's a much better space for a smaller party, in my opinion. If I were to come again, it would be so my daughter could play in the big play area in a rainy day. Not sure I would want to host a birthday party here. What a great place! We came for a birthday party but found a great indoor playground my son loved! The party was very nice. We had some playtime, then a fun craft, then time for pizza and cake. The attendants were very engaging and helpful. For the craft they made maracas filled with rice and beans and then everyone got to dance to 'Shake it Off.' The younger kids needed a bit of parent help, but there were a lot of steps even a 3 year old could do alone. The play area has several bounce houses, 2 karaoke studios, a stage, a very large climbing structure with a slide, a 2 story 'house' that has fun musical instruments to bang on, and various other music themed play areas. The kids had a blast running around and playing for an hour and my 3 year old got pretty tired out. On a typical day I'd say 1-2 hours is what can be spent here. There are nice tables and free WiFi which makes it a great place to let your(older) kids run free and get some work done. The walls are low and room is open so you pretty much can always see where they are. Socks are required to play, but if you forget they have a pair available for $1. They also provide music lessons but we have not tried those yet. Maybe in a year or two! read more

A really cute venue for kids' events - a place with open play, music lessons, a karaoke room and bounce houses. My 3 year old had a blast here recently for a birthday party - my only qualm was that some older kids who finished their music lessons were allowed into the party play space where they wreaked havoc, Including bopping around some of the younger kids ;( Still enjoyed it quite and will plan to come back for another try later! First time here and even though they said that they don't have all the apparatus up, it's great! The staff are nice and they don't just talk to themselves. They actually look at all the kids if they are actually wearing their socks! The bouncy musical house is so much fun and it lights up in different colours. It is big so a lot of kids can hop in it. You want to test your vocal chords or just like to sing? Sing in their karaoke booth! Choose a song and belt that tune up! They have tons of music to choose from. The stage is nice for little kids to be creative and be a musician. They can even pretend that they are in a band! How cute is that?! The slide is high and can be scary for a first timer but keep at it and it's fun. The guitar steps plays a note when you step on a note in the cord. I believe they give or host classes as well. Took my 2 year old for open play one afternoon, and I loved it! The price was very reasonable, and everything seemed pretty clean. I loved that almost every interactive station/ toy related so much to music. I felt it was fun and educational at the same time. There were definitely some areas that weren't safe for a toddler independently, so someone this age definitely has to be monitored while they play. They also have sound proof karaoke rooms with sooo many songs to choose from. My tot was able to pick her fave songs from The Greatest Showman and sing her heart out. Warning(They will have fun): Posted no walking zone, so worked all muscle groups trying to keep up. I didn't run but definitely did climb and crawl with my family. We climbed up 10 foot ladder wall to slide down and climbed in and out of bounce houses. As the camera nut I had fun with my 3 year old grandson trying to keep up with him on the play equipment while taking pictures. I didn't do any very well. This place is amazing It inspires young musicians all the while preparing them for el capitan. Did I mention There are bounce houses. This is an awesome playground concept based on energetic playground fun and music. So nice when especially hot outside. Never too loud inside sometimes hear a full speed run over the floor piano by little feet. My experience was like the movie Big with play equipment so something for all ages. read more

We had our son's birthday party here last weekend (6/22/24- afternoon). The lead host was extremely rude and was kind of very adamant about how and where we should cut the cake. They also did not support us in serving the food to the kids or even lending us with more than 2 additional chairs in tbe room for people to sit. There were just 2 benches that were pushed to the wall for kids to sit. It was super hot and humid this saturday, and we all felt very warm in the room. When we requested them to adjust the temperature, they refused to do even that, which was very basic. Overall, it was a horrible and very painful experience with the lead host being very rude, unwelcoming and apparently needing training on how to treat their customers/guests. They made my son's birthday party to be a terrible experience for me which would haunt me for some time to come. Would not recommend this place to anyone, at least for a birthday party. read more

Purchased the 10 pack pass not too long ago. My 1.5 year old has been coming here since 1 and he loves this place! Very friendly and always has very friendly, accommodating staff. It's always impeccably clean and has a seating area for adults along with a small 8 chair table for little ones. Also has high bar length high chairs. We usually bring snacks but for the days our little one gets hungry, we either purchase snacks from the front desk or walk over to a restaurant and bring the food back to Notasium for him to enjoy. read more

I had my daughter's 7th birthday party here. It's important to know that prior to age 7, my daughter's birthday parties have always been hosted from our home and I have been in charge of an assortment of entertainment for all of the children indoors since her birthday is generally in a very cold or possibly snow day. But this year, though I was hesitant to pay a lot of money for her birthday, I made the leap and it was the best decision for everyone involved!! Every birthday party prior I was solely responsible for keeping the kids entertained and on task which isn't hard because I have worked with kids since I myself was a kid but at your kids birthday party I would like to chill and take it all in. Well, Notasium allowed me that luxury! The staff member who keep our birthday party did EVERYTHING, including playing games with the kids and caring for the very small ones. Us adults sat at the bar surrounding the play area that is enclosed and had some tea or coffee or hot cocoa and visited with one another. The music teachers in the second part of the party did an amazing job as well. They seamlessly entertained and kept the attention of about 22 kids and all of their parents in the same room, leading a craft activity. They also did a thorough job of ensuring my two nephews were held in check and not causing a disruption and breaking other people's crafted instruments. As a teacher I admire that skill. Everything at this party was handled so well. For the first time I was able to relax and sit back and let the kids enjoy themselves while I visited with my friends and trusted the kids to their care. I highly recommend this place for any birthday party! They have so many options and packages dependent on your child's age. I saw 2 year olds up to 13 year olds having a good time.
