Customer service was awful. We went to build me a bear for my wedding and the person who helped stuff our bear was very rude. She ruined the experience for me honestly and wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. She was very condescending and talked to me like I was a child. Do not bring your children here if you want them to be talked to poorly and have the magic ruined for them.

Great place to build a bear. Everything went smooth. We had plenty assistance in building my 2 children's bears. The staff was kind and courteous.

I've been to Build A Bear enough that I believe I am responsible for financing at least one entire store. Maybe that's a bit of a stretch, but let's just say I've spent a lot in these places. You know the deal. Your kids pick a stuffed animal without stuffing, they stuff it and you leave happy. Well actually they try and convince you that you need clothes, shoes and a bunch more for the dolls, but try and skip that section. This store is located in the trendy Warf area of Orange Beach. Parking is difficult, but there's a garage behind the strip. There are no entrances directly from the garage so be prepared to walk. The staff at this location were very friendly, but that's the rule for BAB. I'd be surprised if I encountered a disgruntled employee. If the hours say this location is closed, call anyway. On the day we visited it said they closed at 6, but when I called they said they were open till nine.

Crappiest build a bear store ever. We drove half an hour for their pay your age promotion. Because they were crowded they closed early. That's not how it should have been handled, sorry, saying your closed and handing off a 15 dollar off coupon doesn't equal pay your age. If concerned with the crowd you start a line and limit the amount of people in. We will not be returning to this build a bear ever

My son is 7 and my daughter is 6 and like most happy kids at a family amusement park, they were skipping, jumping, and running because they were excited. As we were walking toward the arcade, an older employee near the boat area, wearing a green shirt, blew a whistle and yelled across the park at my children to stop running. There was no crowd around them, they weren't running into anyone, and they weren't creating a safety issue. They were simply being excited children at an outdoor family entertainment venue. I understand the importance of safety, but there is a respectful way to speak to children. Yelling at young kids from across the park and blowing a whistle at them was unnecessary and left a bad impression on our visit. Family attractions should be places where children can enjoy themselves, and employees should know how to address kids in a friendly and appropriate manner. My kids still enjoyed their day, but this interaction was disappointing and could have been handled much better. We have NEVER had this issue at the track in all the years we visit. Someone definitely needs to let him know that it no acceptable behavior

So many cool techniques were introduced! We feel super lucky that we got to be a part of this very special experience! I think that would be an add-on that lots of people would love to give you money for! Lol.

So, two people in our party had to pay full price for no rides. There was a long wait at the front to get into the park, because only one employee was working. Not really sure what they were doing because they gave us a wrist band for the water park even though we only paid for the theme park. We were as confused as they were. We went during Thanksgiving week so the weather was cooler, but there wasn't much of a wait for any rides. Our daughter wasn't tall enough to ride everything (only 38"), but we still managed to have a good time. They have a lot of rides for the smaller kids. My wife and I enjoyed the roller coaster the best. We took advantage of the low wait times and rode the roller coaster several times. Definitely worth checking out.

I traveled from Birmingham and spent a significant amount of money to bring my children to Tropic Falls for the indoor waterpark. Unfortunately, my experience ended up being extremely disappointing and embarrassing. After climbing several flights of stairs to ride a float attraction with my son, I was asked to step on a scale in front of multiple guests waiting in line. I was then told publicly that I exceeded the weight limit and could not ride any float attractions. Another guest even asked if I could ride solo instead, and again, in front of everyone, I was told I exceeded the limit. I completely understand and respect ride safety policies and weight restrictions. My concern is not that safety rules exist. My concern is the lack of clear disclosure beforehand and how the situation was handled publicly. The website states: "All Riders: Maximum Weight of Rider = 250 lbs. Double Riders: Maximum Combined Weight of Riders = 400 lbs." Based on that wording, I believed my son and I qualified for a double float ride as long as we were under the combined limit. If the policy is that no rider over 250 lbs can ride any float attraction regardless of combined weight, I feel that should be made much clearer before ticket purchase. What hurt the most was being weighed and having my weight discussed in front of strangers and my child. My son no longer wanted to ride afterward, and I walked away feeling embarrassed and unable to participate in the attractions I came to enjoy with my son. I have reached out to management privately because I wanted to give them the opportunity to address my concerns first. However, I also feel it's fair to make others aware so they can make informed decisions before visiting. I truly hope policies are communicated more clearly and situations like this are handled with more privacy and sensitivity in the future.
