This company has lots of negatives that I've came across. For starters, I noticed that there is no…read morevariety in any of the employees, even on their website with their models for the clothing. I also noticed that they do not carry 2xl anymore, which is very degrading. They also only label their sizes in letters (ex. S, M, L, XL), so when I went online to buy a pair of shorts in the men's section, there was no size chart available. Also, very observant but floors in the Orange Beach store are not very level, I almost tripped a few times. I also noticed color differences in some of the tops. I was shopping for myself and my girlfriend and some of the clothes on the women's side were more faded than others. All around, highly don't recommend.

There appear to be lots…read moreof choices, but they are in a limited collection of styles, either long established overstock or experimental styles that did not work well. The good news is, the items in stock are about 25% off the list prices in retail stores or online. I like the fact that I can try on the shoes and the staff is very knowledgeable but there is a little too much pressure to "try on this" so you will purchase something. Since it is a small store, there is no where to "hide" while you try to make up your mind, or not purchase at all.

I had a great experience with Taylor and wanted to give her a shout out. I was visiting from Cali…read morefor a family wedding, and had just came from the Windsor store in the same mall because I was looking for a dress to wear to said wedding. All I have to say is...Windsor ain't it. Tell me why the largest size Windsor has is a L, and I'm thoroughly convinced it's either a large for a child, or potentially a junior. I am a grown woman and nothing there fits me. Like girl...no. I was pretty sad because I had high hopes I'd find something semi-formal at Windsor, and now I was at a loss as to when, where, and for how much I'd find something somewhere else. I found Torrid a little further down the mall, which I was also kind of worried about because in the past I'd been too small to fit into their sizes, but given the day's previous events, decided to give them a try. The next stop was sifting through the racks at Ross hoping to find something. I'm glad I stopped in here first :) Taylor was very kind, understood my situation, and was able to find me a couple items that matched what I was looking for, that fit me. She was super encouraging and an awesome hype woman the entire time, checking on me and offering different solutions for dresses I liked but they didn't have my size in stock (I needed the dress like the next day so I couldn't wait, but it was super appreciated lol). None of that "ugh, you're too small to even be in here" crap (I'm looking at you San Bernardino Torrid -__-). Turns out I'm currently a 00 in Torrid sizes. I was able to walk out with a dress I loved, and the best part is that IT HAS POCKETS!! OMFG I can't even tell you how happy that makes me. My weight does tend to fluctuate all over the place, and I may again one day not be able to fit into the sizes, but I can def say that as long as I do, I will keep Torrid in mind. At the very least, they have super cute accessories, and Hello Kitty items at times! I had gotten turned off to Torrid from that previous experience (while in the store looking at a super cute Hello Kitty purse when I was size S), but I'm glad it was a one-off experience and the associates and atmosphere (at least at this location) are welcoming and super awesome. Thanks guys!
