The problem is…read morewhen I get a pair I love I wear them over & over till they fall Apart & then I can't find any I love in my closet anymore so I have to go get some new ones hahaha. So 2 years ago hubby bought me these Gucci Water Tiger slides for my birthday & I have been looking for another pair, can't find them anywhere.. Anyhoo, we built a little patio in my garden have been putting stone paths thru it & the other day we were working on the back steps that leads to the garden, I came down them & my slide went sideways, it tore, I went down. Yep, I blew my flip flop :( With cuts & bruises all over, I decided I fancied a new pair of slides, so off to DSW we went! The only place I like to go for shoes is DSW unless it's Gucci & we don't have one of those here :( This store is nice. It has a lot of the usual brands. It's not as nice as the DSW in Addison, Texas. They have a giant designer section that does have Gucci sometimes. I bought hubby a pair of Gucci boots he loves at the Addison, Texas store. Yay!! :)) Anyhoo, this store is not as nice. And they didn't have anything I fancied at the moment. So I did what most girls do. I started crying & hubby knew just what to do. Hubby took me to Lowe's! LOL He bought some super duper Gorilla glue, cleaned up, glued up my favorite Water Tiger flip flops & had them ready for me the next morning. Best hubby on the planet! :)) I'm back to bouncing & fannying about town no problemo. I hope DSW gets some better inventory soon bc this store's inventory is seriously lacking in the "Water Tiger" pirate style department. Meow! Arrrr! Will return.

They have a ton of styles and the selection is huge, and shoes range from the most casual of styles (flip flops, sneakers, slip ons) to heels and boots. I think its one of the best shoe stores I've been in based on the prices (very affordable) , brands (very wide range), and mix of styles. I should also make sure to give them major props for the fact that they mostly carry real leather shoes (maybe all of them are in fact now that I think about it), unlike other stores which tend to carry all pleather cheap brands. I also feel like they offer alot of options that are comfortable but not in a grandma-shoe kind of way and more in a "I live in an actual city where I walk places and so 5" stilettos aren't reasonable but I still want to look cute" kind of way. I wish I could find a place like this where I live now, but Shoefly is always on my list to stop in when I'm in Fairhope and I never leave empty handed.

After seeing they didn't have what I was looking for I asked if they were doing any sales on the thong birken stocks the MANAGER then proceeds to tell me he doesn't need to run any sale on those because he sells those everyday & that you wouldn't walk into foot locker & ask if they were having sales on Jordan's & that if I wanted birken stocks then I needed to pay the price. DEFINITELY won't ever be going back & this guy deserves to be fired for talking to customers like that. Last I checked YOU don't decide when to have sales & when not to. Cooperate does.

I will be taking that business up with Sperry anyway it's time to go look for a nice pair of comfy everyday walking shoes, also to just wear occasionally because 9 out of 10 days I only want flip flops #retired #BeachLife So my sweetheart said let's try Skechers and here we are and I quickly found myself some shoes so mission accomplished.I bought some memory foam walking shoes. Comfy, lightweight and airy and they look well made for $55 All the boxes checked. Plus 2nd pair for my honey gets her sneakers for half price, soooooooo boom, we're all good! Skechers is a well lit store in the Tanger Outlets, it's clean and very organized with 2 fitting stations with foot measuring equipment and benches plus plenty of disposal socks for trying on shoes. They have a very big inventory of mens and ladies sneakers with a small choice of flip flops (more coming in the spring) and couple rows of casual shoes. Rosalie helped out with our questions, she was friendly, professional and check us out. Bottom line: nice shopping experience Rosalie took care of us and she did a great job, nice store, nice selection, I'll be back.
