The store is nicely stocked with a little bit of the bookstore vibe of years past with categories of all kinds. They do have a big selection of children's books that include a rack of picture books and puzzles as well a section for young adults. There's not a lot of reference, DIY or self-help books but they've done pretty well with making a nice assortment of different genres available. They have a nice selection of discounted hard and paperback books, some audio books and assorted gifts. There's no coffee shop or couches to lounge in, no magazine or newspaper racks here, it's just books and that's okay with me. We bought a couple books and had a pleasant conversation with the very nice lady who was running the place all by herself. I'm a sucker for a good bookstore, and it's independently owned and operated, so what's not to like? Bottom line: it's clean, well organized and maintained with good prices. Recommended;

Book Warehouse, however, is like stepping into an independently owned store but with the selection and convenience of a chain. I got to talking with one of the employees and learned that the bookstore that has been around in different forms since the 1920s!!! l. They carry a mix of new books, local authors, children's books and all kinds of quirky and fun gifts.. It's a great place to slow down, browse, and find something you didn't even know you wanted. I'll definitely stop by again the next time I'm in the area.

My friend went to the restroom and came back wanting to leave because there was no t.p., but I went and got a young man who had the good grace to be embarrassed and to fix it promptly. I bought three books and got a very nicely prepared cup of coffee at the JoeMuggs area. The franchise has reduced the offerings at the area, but I was always a cup of coffee kind of person anyway. The cashier had to go across to a different register to preorder the new Prince Harry book for me, but it was handled efficiently and I got a reduced preorder price which included shipping to my home and is significantly less than I would have paid on Amazon (I checked). So, it was a pleasant visit to what is more bookstore than toy store and I saved a few bucks. Very nice.

The kids section through the little lighthouse is SO cute and the young lady working at the register was really sweet. Pro tip, if you're a member of the YMCA, you get a discount! We didn't get a chance to try out the cafe because we were coming from having brunch, but the cafe looked really cute. I also loved that they feature and sell local artists' stationery.
