We had the absolute best experience with our Build a Bear expert! I wish I got her name; however, we had a lot of fixings for my daughter's bear. Our Build a Bear expert was so patient, kind, personable, and explained thoroughly and did not rush us through the process which was absolutely amazing. The selection of bear options were so great that my daughter spent nearly 15 minutes just deciding which bear to build. In addition, we of course needed sound, smell, heart beat, and all of the cutest clothes. It was such an amazing experience and her patience brought such great value and made it truly the best experience. We will be back.

Very disappointed. We signed up for their online club so we could take the little ones on their birthday for the special which is you pay their age. When we got there we told them it was her birthday and they have her a crown and stickers. Never once did they tell us that the birthday special was only for one specific bear and got my niece so excited for the one she picked. It was not until we were checking out that they told us and by then her heart was set on that item she picked and dressed up . We couldn't disappoint her. This felt like a bait and switch. Then they kept trying to sell add ons on top of it and said each one in front of the birthday girl so we had to do them. They also kept saying well it's up to your mom to try to make us look bad if we said no. They also had to restock her item bc they let a new person who didn't know what she was doing complete it. So disappointed. The staff is only there to upsell.

I went in expecting to just get a little guy and go but the staff went above and beyond to make my experience at this location absolutely unforgettable. I'm soon moving away from the area I have lived in my whole life and wanted to grab a new friend to bring with me to experience this new journey in my life. Two staff members, Adriana and Kat were so, so helpful and fun to chat with throughout the entire process. I felt very comfortable with these two and got great recommendations to help customize my new friend exactly for me. I got a whole lot more than what I had paid for, because not only was the experience absolutely amazing, but also extremely memorable and I'm very grateful I will be able to bring these good memories with me to my new home very soon. I would like to thank these two again for helping me leave with a lighter heart and more confidence.

Lucy was so authentic and amazing. It was my first time at build a bear and my sons as well. I have only one four year old and I had no idea what age you do the bear/creature/bunny (they have lots of new friends other then bears) She said her son just turned four and he just got his first one, so it was perfect timing. We were kinda in a hurry, which I don't recommend. Definitely allow time and set a budget before going in there. Lucy was so helpful we will be back!

    Great experience here!

Wow! We sure had an awesome experience at this build a bear! The employees ( Oliver being one of them) were amazing! I think it's important that the store managers/their superiors know this! They could not have been lovelier people. Engaging my children and conversation, professional and made our experience fun and memorable. In all honesty, I was pretty blown away. I was not expecting this at all! I was more or less expecting a highschooler just going through the motions. I used gift certificates I got from Costco and still had a remainder so I will use the leftover in the form of a gift card when needed. I cannot recommend this particular location enough!

Closed sign for a "private" party. There is now such thing as a "private" party at build a bear that can close the whole store.

Apparently this store can't seem to get their act together, or hire anybody that wants to show up for work. They closed the store, supposedly because of 3 call outs, for a large party so my niece was unable to make her birthday bear, leaving her, understandably, upset. Not to mention her great grandma is with her to try and make it special. Spoke with the manager who "attempted" to call other staff in, but this should be the job of the district manager, Darilyss, when the manager tried all of her current staff. Better yet, as a district manager, she should have shown up to help out, but heaven forbid she do anything "below her pay grade" I'm sure.... Don't waste your time or money here. Drive a little extra to go to the Buena Park or Cerritos locations. Super nice staff and they have pulled from other stores for staffing with no issues like this location seems to have. Corporate may want to revisit their training strategies for all of their management, not just lower levels, because clearly there are some major issues. Picture below. Just fyi, there is now such thing as a "private" party that can close the whole store at build a bear locations. And that's a quite directly from corporate.

I always love the staff at this location. They always seem to have the most wonderful personalities. I met my name twin today! Thank you Morgan you and your coworker were amazing (I'm so sorry I cannot remember their name!) you were both Super sweet and very helpful! Thank you for taking the time to make sure everything was just right when stuffing my Ooogie Boogie. Most importantly I walked in today looking for Lock, Shock and Barrel I was so lucky to grab the lasts one on the shelf. Very happy I stepped in today!

My son had a great time here. After a disaster visit on pay your age day, we took him here for his pay your age bear on your birthday month and it was a breeze. Service is wonderful, very in tune with the kids and make it a fun experience for them. Store is clean and well stocked, they have a great selection and sales that offset the prices a bit. Not worth paying retail, but the kids really enjoy it and when there are sales or offers as wonderful as the birthday one, it is very well worth it.

He is almost 6 years old, and I'm always looking for fun ideas/things we can do on weekends. We drove here from Santa Monica (about an hour). Parking is located a few minutes away from the farm. Keep moving down the trail, and you will find it. We bought tickets online, so the check-in process was easy. We purchased a veggie basket to feed the animals, and we paid some extra $$$ so my son can ride the tractor and play on the excavator. There is also a playground on site and a horse ride. It was nice, but after an hour, my son asked to leave. Younger kids will enjoy it more. It took us 1.5 hours to drive back, so we spent more time on the road than actually experiencing the farm. What I like is that there are variety of shops and restaurants around the farm, and it's cute. Boutiques to shop for jewelry, clothes, shoes, HomeGoods, all kinds of stuff, so that was really nice.

You can get through everything pretty quick. That said, it's still a nice place to check out if you're already in the area or want something easy to do with kids. The setup is clean and organized, and there's enough little things to keep it interesting for a short visit. Think more "quick stop" than "plan your whole day around it." Overall, it's decent, not a must-go destination, but not bad either. Good to add to your list if you're nearby and just want something simple to do.

Hearing that, we had to figure out how to make a party of 15 guests work for a 8 year old, completely excited girl ready to have a blast with her friends My husband went in person and immediately asked for the manager. Jonathan heard our dilemma and offered to help us out. Unfortunately there were no party rooms available. But He set aside 3 tables at the back of the park, gave us table covers and everything as if we were having the party in a room. He got pizzas made, drinks and checked our party in. Jonathan took care of us without hesitation and my daughter and her friends had a BLAST! Our Sunday flop day turned into a great day to remember. Booking online was a breeze and each staff member I spoke with when finalizing numbers was extremely helpful. We loved that all of the plates, cups, and utensils were included, as well as pizza and drinks. All we had to bring was our cake and some extra snacks for the kiddos. When we showed up on our day, the staff that handled the check-in process was kind and helpful. They provided a rack on rollers to store all of our guest's birthday gifts, which made it really easy to roll everything out to our car at the end of our party time. We also had a party attendant that took care of all of the set up, food serving, and clean up. This is where our day really shined! Sky Zone Mission Viejo managers, listen up: Ryan P....this dude was legendary! We could really tell how much he loves his job. He helped us load our stuff in, carried our cooler up and down the stairs, and eased the set up tremendously. That was all great, but the way he interacted with the kids was next level! He brought up balloons and played keep away. The way he served the kids pizza by dropping it on their plates was making them all laugh hysterically. His energy and enthusiasm went far beyond what we could have ever expected and we appreciated him so much! He really made everyone, including our son, feel special. Give this man a raise! Now about the trampoline park itself....let's face it....it's chaos. Full and pure chaos. Kids everywhere. Noise decibel level 1,000. You can't hear yourself think. But it is what it is and it comes with the territory. More importantly, it's clean and the kids had an absolute blast! 10/10 recommend if you're looking for a high energy birthday party and don't want to put a lot of effort into planning.

Child Creativity Lab takes donated every day items (Lego pieces, empty prescription containers, bottle caps, buttons, wine corks, new popsicle sticks as well as excess items from various companies (excess fabric, plastic bottles, paint, pins, tacks, glue, zippers, etc.) and they put them together in a package so that kids can assemble them them and create a figure like a robot or animal out of all the parts. Before COVID they used to have in house workshops, but now they take the party out to the kids in city community centers, schools, etc. My friend planned a service event here so I came over to help out for a couple of hours. All the parts for the project were laid out at various stations and we went down like an assembly line and filled bags with the items to create a project-in-a-bag for each child. If I was a kid in elementary school receiving a project bag like this to put together with other classmates, I would be totally stoked. If you are interested in donating common household items for them to use, give them a call to see what they do and don't take. You can also arrange to do a service event here with your organization, they have people come in every week to help out. We need more places like this in all communities!
