Interior - Build-A-Bear Workshop

I was looking for a gift in Downtown Summerlin and stumbled upon Build-A-Bear-Workshop right next to the Mothership Coffee Roasters. It wasn't too busy inside for a Friday afternoon. Build-A-Bear Workshop allows in store customization for a plush toy. You choose from a variety of options such as a classic teddy bear or characters like Pokémon, Marvel, Chase from Paw Patrol, and so much more! Once you select a character, you go through various different stations inside the store. These stations can include filling the toy, adding a sound chip or scent, and you can even include a message on the toy! Afterwards, you get to select clothing and accessories! It's a wonderful experience to be able to customize and create! You can also order online as well! My daughter and I also visited the Build-A-Bear workshop at the Great Wolf Lodge in Anaheim California and had a wonderful experience there too! The team here are amazing and so helpful! They provided a lot of recommendations and walked through the process for build-a-bear from start to finish! If you're in Downtown Summerlin, I'd highly recommend visiting this Build-A-Bear Workshop!

We had our little's 6th birthday party here with 25 kiddos, and it was nothing but the best. The service and the hosts were so very kind and professional. I was impressed. They managed everything so smoothly and provided effortless and fun experience for both parents and kids. My birthday little is always excited to be there and all her expectations were more than met for her celebration games and shopping! All guests were nothing but excited and grateful to celebrate. I would highly recommend this location for birthdays. I felt I got more for this celebration versus throwing a party at indoor playgrounds or bouncy places. Note: Park in front of the store. Bring a bin or have a plan with where to keep presents. The store still continues to stay open. Everything worked out really well for us, but I wish I had this part planned since watching our stuff while trying to talk with other parents did keep me anxious.

Mellow, and Happier.

We went for the special- $1 per year on your birthday. It was a great experience. My grandson picked his new bear friend up and did the routine they do, then put his heart in his bear. We ended up spending a lot of money, and an extra buddy, glasses, shoes, etc. The workers are all good with kids, the place was clean, and he has two new buddies. Happier and Mellow are his two friends. It's well worth the hassle to get to the mall, park, and get in, to get a smile like his.

We walked in to get my son his birthday bear! When we walked in we were greeted with warm smiles and asked what we needed. When we stated we were here for his birthday bear he was so nice and tried asking him his age and my son was shy and said 3. He then proceeded to point us to the bear we were looking for and let us know since he was three that his best would be $3!we then proceeded to stuff our bear. The young lady helping us was so sweet and was very patient with my son while it was playing when trying to step on the button to stiff his bear. When picking out the hearts she pulled out a special birthday heart which made him smile. Unfortunately they didn't have the birthday shirt we wanted but we will get it next time. Overall experience amazing! His favorite part came after we paid they let him ring the bell!!

We took our son to get his first Build-a-bear after he completed his cranial helmet reconstruction. It was quick and easy to pick a bear and have it stuffed. The staff was really helpful and the cost was not astronomical. I'm glad we have this bear to remember this stage of our son's life!

Super clean and organized store. Very helpful when asking questions and just overall informative. What made it more special experience was Christine. She was so interactive with our kids regardless if they are older. Thank you for an amazing time and bringing our stuffed toys to life

Their service is great! There are a lot of Build-A-Bears to choose from at this location with their selection. The value of the Build-A-Bears was great! They were having a $12 sale. Got their Mooey Christmas Cow which is so adorable! Going to make a great Christmas gift.

Took my son in for his first birthday. As soon as we walked in we got approached by Bre we told her we were looking for the birthday bear. She showed us the bear and was super friendly and playful with my son. I ended up adding a custom voice recording. Definitely the best $12 I've spent. Can't wait to come back. Thanks Bre for the best experience.

Jaiden has terrible customer service. She looks like she hates her job and she sewed my daughters bear too tight and gave it wrinkles.

Great space for adults to hang out with their kids. Snacks and an abundance of kids play equipment and much more. I've been bringing my son here since 2023. And now my baby who is about to be 1. They love it. Never had a bad experience yet, just a few poor interactions my kids have had with other kids. But resolved always quickly. The owner seems to step in as well when needed which is always helpful. 5/5 Stars!!

Between checking in, discussing allergies and other concerns, and trying to keep our kids patiently waiting, we forgot to mention the military discount (my husband is a Marine). I called the next day and spoke with Darleen (I sincerely apologize if I got your name wrong! Years of sleep deprivation may have gotten the best of my memory! ). She kindly offered us credit toward a future visit, which we truly appreciated, especially after paying for three kids to stay four hours...that was costly. Her understanding meant a lot! One of my biggest concerns was leaving my youngest, who had just turned four. Although she was with her siblings, ages six and eight, she has severe allergies to eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame. Knowing Kids Quest has an open café-style food area, I was worried about food traveling into play areas and possible allergen exposure. Thankfully, they took her allergies seriously, and none of the foods offered contained her specific allergens. Also, they do not allow outside food too brought in. That reassurance made an enormous difference! The staff was wonderful overall, especially the female staff members, according to my kids. They did say one male staff member seemed somewhat rude, but that didn't overshadow the positives we experienced overall. I was pleasantly surprised by the additional crafts and activities, including slime making! My kids loved making slime and bringing it home in a lidded cup. They especially enjoyed Miss Coco. As I was writing this, my oldest exclaimed, "She was my favorite!" Hearing that a staff member made such a good impression is always reassuring. So, my reason for deducting a star- According to my children, a few slightly older kids repeatedly used profanity. Staff reportedly told them to stop, but it continued without any apparent consequences. I understand staff can't control everything kids say, but a supervised children's facility should have reasonable expectations for age-appropriate behavior. ‍ More concerning, those same kids repeatedly blocked the tube slide by stopping and sitting inside it, preventing others from using it safely. At one point, a younger child who was friends with my kids slid down, unaware an older child was sitting and staring in midway in the tube slide. Naturally, the younger child's feet hit the older child's shoulder when sliding down. The older child became upset about being "kicked in the shoulder," even though the younger child had no way of knowing someone was blocking the slide. This was clearly not the younger child's fault. My kids said staff knew about the repeated slide blocking and warned the older children, but there didn't seem to be any meaningful intervention beyond warnings. This is where I think Kids Quest has room to improve. I'd fully support reasonable, age appropriate consequences for repeated misbehavior, like a brief timeout, temporarily restricting an activity, or contacting parents if necessary. I'd feel exactly the same if my own children were responsible! In fact, I'd appreciate a call if they repeatedly ignored instructions or created an unsafe situation. To me, that shows accountability and a genuine commitment from the staff and business to every child's safety and enjoyment. I believe clear expectations that are consistently enforced, would help parents feel more confident whether they're using Kids Quest for childcare or just recreational fun. Interestingly, we didn't actually need childcare that day. My in laws could have babysat. We went because a friend's child would be there, and it seemed like a wonderful place for a playdate! The facility looked safe, exciting, and entertaining, so we figured it would be extra fun for all our kids to spend time there together. Despite my concerns, we'd absolutely return! Not just because we have credit, but because our children genuinely had a fantastic time. They loved the play areas and activities, and having each other there to look out for one another certainly helped put my mind at ease. We're especially grateful for the kindness and accommodations from Miss Coco and Darleen (? ), who helped us with the military discount. In my opinion and in general, with more consistent responses to repeated misbehavior and safety concerns, Kids Quest could be an even better experience for children and parents alike. Overall, we're grateful for our first visit and look forward to returning. My kids were asking to go back before we even got home that night! Thank you Kids Quest and staff members!

Only a couple takeaways here, One, a lot of the equipment seems to be run down and almost falling apart around the edges if you wanna call it that. Two, the arcade games seem to all have some sort of issue , or aren't fully functional, broken pieces, etc. but the kids don't seem to gather much around those anyways. I do love the safety of the buzzer by the front door , to keep guests of the facility feeling comfortable. They also host birthday parties, we once saw Mickey Mouse which made my day lol! The playground is definitely geared toward younger children (I'd say around 7 and under). It wasn't crowded when we visited, which made it feel relaxed and easy to supervise. The staff was welcoming, and I appreciated that guests have to be buzzed in and out, it made the space feel secure. Just don't come expecting a brand-new or upscale play place. Some of the arcade games were out of order, and a few of the toys showed signs of wear. Even so, everything that mattered to my toddler was available, and he had an absolute blast. Overall, I'd give Kidstopia 4 stars. It's affordable, safe, and a solid option for younger kids to burn off some energy indoors. A few updates would go a long way, but we'd definitely visit again.

It was unbearably hot inside. I'm not sure if the AC was broken, not working properly, or what was going on, but it was extremely uncomfortable--especially for a place where kids are running and jumping for hours. The kids still had a great time and jumped for about two hours. It was only $15 per child, which was a great price, and the bathrooms were clean. One thing I really didn't like was the sock policy. We already had perfectly good trampoline/jumping socks, but apparently they have to specifically be Sky Zone socks. Huh?! They did exchange our socks for Sky Zone ones for free, which I appreciated, but I still think it's a pretty ridiculous policy. Overall, the kids had a great time and the price was reasonable, but the heat and unnecessary sock policy definitely took away from the experience. Our previous visit was much better!
