Much better than buying trinkets she did not need. There were lots of families sitting around watching their kids too. But maybe not enough chairs for all as it was a busy holiday off from school. I was able to grab one though as my husband walked around the visitor areas to watch their charges. We got lot of pix of her this way on equipment she had not tried before but similar and capable to do so. There is plenty of space for the older kids, many her age or a few years older and younger so she fit right in. There is a separate area for smaller kids, toddlers and preschoolers whose parent were even closer by to them. Her father signed her up for an hour which gave all of us enough time. It seemed safe and there was always staff around, picking up out of bounds plastic balls forever flying out of the ball pit and others just observing across the activities. She would still be willing to go again in the next few visits until she is truly a tween.

I'm not sure how many different butterfly species there were, but they were everywhere! I was so lucky to have one land on me. I spent most of my time chasing a magnificent blue one. We stocked up on butterfly-themed arts and gifts, and I even brought home a blue butterfly in a still case.

Lovely park with lucious grass just a few blocks from Costco. It is peaceful and relaxing (somehow…read morethe hustle and bustle of the nearby shopping centers doesn't carry over). On Sunday I found myself here for the first time for an interval training workshop led by a local running store. The grass was somewhat tall and soft to the touch during all of our push ups and other assorted exercises. Being newly aerated the chunks of dirt appeared somewhat poop like (so I was freaked out at first). There are people nearby walking dogs (for some reason they walk the dogs around the park on the sidewalk, rather than on the nice grass - not sure why). This park is quite large. Fields on either end with a children's playground in the middle. Parking around much fo the perimeter too. The one thing I didn't notice was a water fountain or restroom - both of which would have been a great addition to the lovely outdoor offerings.

What truly sets Bounce Empire apart is that it's not just for kids -- it actually considers the adults too. So many kids' birthday venues forget about the parents, but not here. There's a full bar, massage pods, a movie theater room with recliners to watch sports, chess tables, and a beautiful outdoor patio with mountain views. It felt more like a resort than a kids' party venue. And the bounce houses? Definitely not just for kids. All the adults had an absolute blast too. They even have DJs! We were there for an 11 a.m. party so we didn't get to experience the DJ that day, but I've been here before for a late-night adult girls' party and it's just as fun for adults as it is for kids. We booked the party and made our deposit and leading up to the party had a lot of updates to throw at them including number of people, time in the party area, and add ons like ordering pizza. Each time their responses were prompt and incredibly helpful. On the day of the party Jared greeted me and gave me the full run down, and made sure all my questions were answered. We got set up and right at our party time they brought the kids on the floor for both guided activities and free play. They really made my daughter feel special by letting her lead the activities and even gave her a few special things to do, which she absolutely loved! All the kids in the party had an amazing time with coach Jared and coach Logan and we felt they were safe and taken care of the entire time. At the end of the party, every single parent came up to tell us how much they and their kid loved the party. Jared let us know we could leave anything we didn't want to take (extra food, decorations, etc) and they would clean it up. That was a huge bonus and made our life so much easier! We've done summer camps and winter camps here, a few weeks here and there. I highly recommend their camps. Lots of instructors, the instructors are kind, are invested in getting to know your kids and making them feel awesome, and also really encourage them to tackle the challenges at Ninja Nation. It's a bit expensive, but not out of the ballpark for including food/snacks and the amount of staff per child. You can also pay additional for early drop off and late pick-up. All in all this is a great place to run out the kids and build body self-confidence.

The gym is so big that even though the parking lot is full, there are still plenty of routes available, and room to rest on the padded floors. I saw people of all ages and all skill levels at this gym, making it a very inviting atmosphere for learning from each other. The hours are great, and apparently day passes are only $10 after 4pm on Fridays. There's really nothing I can complain about EVO. I might have to move to CO just so I can be here everyday.

Recently went in to the Louisville location to enquire about signing up for classes for my 5yo…read moregranddaughter. The guy at the front desk responded with a slightly irritated "what do you want to know?" before informing me I that I should have been looking at the website first and then pulled it up on his computer. He then told me that the front desk doesn't know what goes on out front so they couldn't help much! Needless to say I left without booking a class and don't plan to return. Really bad first impressions, no interest demonstrated, and overall a lot harder work than I ever anticipated.
