It's a clean looking dive bar full of regulars that didn't make you feel out of place and the young woman bar tending was very friendly. The young woman bar tending had the mouth of a sailor which I really liked, a real person and no dainty proper woman here. I felt like a Makers Mark which I asked if they had and she said let me look, she came back and said only Makers Mark 46. Ok let me get this straight, the dive bar doesn't have regular Makers Mark but they have the more expensive Makers Mark 46 OK. The game was playing on several TVs all over the bar which everything was into and it was not the packers playing. The sign on the wall had limited pizza options for food and all frozen I'm sure. Sundays are $3 mini pitchers of domestic beer which most people were having judging by how many were on the bar and the tip off to me asking if it was a special today. Overall it's a nice neighborhood dive bar with friendly people where you can hav a drink and relax.

As I walked in I noticed food all over pool table and other tables but no local games were on the TVs which was strange. The place was oddly packed and I got the last stool in the corner end of the bar. As I sat there drinking my cocktail the locals talked to me and invited me to the food which was cool. Suddenly happy birthday was being sung and it all made sense now because it was a surprise birthday party for one of the regulars and I was offered cake, how cool because I knew no one in the place. It's a neighborhood dive bar with all regulars which is ok because they let me be the outsider. The bartender was friendly and once again has no idea of what a gin Rickey is. It's an older neighborhood bar with a pool table, wrap around bar, music machine etc. The music was kinda loud for early afternoon with 70s to 90s love songs, maybe a broken heart was in the bar. It has flat screens and cool stone walls with nice character which you don't see a lot but it's charming in a dive way.

I have yet to meet a bartender who knows what a gin Rickey is, it started in the 1890s and it was very popular but no one drinks them today, it's a 0 sugar cocktail and if you're trying to keep your A1C level in check it's perfect. Surprisingly this is no West Allis dive bar and it's pretty nice compared to the local competition was my first impression, hell even the mens room was probably the nicest for a West Allis local bar I thought with wood floors, clean looking and modern. It's the typical local bar with flat screens, games, music, taps etc etc. Josh was the bartender and he was very friendly and he did an outstanding job at being the face of the business. Surprisingly josh is one of the few bartenders in probably a 100 plus bars and restaurants who knew what a Gin Rickey is and as always anyone who knows how to make one with out asking how to I buy them a drink which he accepted. Overall it's a nice addition to the area and in now way like the old school dinosaur bars that line NationalAve.

I ordered my burger medium rare, and while it was a solid burger, it was a bit unappetizing when I picked up my burger and it was soaking in a pool of liquid and was a bit messy/soggy to eat. I ended up taking it home to eat instead. Service was fine and the food came out quickly!
