If you wanted follow up then provide the quote I kindly asked for or at the very least a business card. I asked for that, too, but he would not provide even a business card. Ridiculous. The days of door-to-door sales are over!! I would not sign on with you even if you are the best pest control business in town after this experience! He was told no- but the guy said he was new (with the company) and was wanting to drum up some business- would give us a deal for a one time treatment for fleas & ticks only. Since I have Alpha Gal, my husband agreed. He gave the guy our debit card and was asked to sign something on the guy's phone for permission to treat. he signed it- we paid the $80ish fee, he was there less than 10 minutes and left. We thought nothing more of it, until the next month, we were charged again. I called and was told that my husband signed a 12 month contract and we were locked in. My husband DID NOT agree to this. He was told to sign a permission to treat on a small phone and that was it. Classic case of bait & switch. We have our house on the market for sale- we would NEVER get into a contract for 12 months. The company is extremely rude. I had spoken to a manager who would not relent. I was told I will be charged for breaking the contract and they will continue to take money from our account. The kicker is- I asked 2x for a copy of that contract- was told it would be sent and never received! At that visit the technician knocked on my front door where I met him in the front porch, I came back inside and closed my door, he took less than 5 min outside, then from inside my bedroom I hear the front screen door and front door open, I walk out and the technician is letting himself INTO my home and closing the door behind him! I was home alone with two large dogs, thank goodness they didn't bite him but I ran up to them first and grabbed their collars. He gave me my invoice and I asked him to leave. I was so upset and scared that he just let himself right in, no business was being done in my home, nothing needed treatment inside, he had no right to walk right in. I called the office and the front desk lady wrote it off and did not see the problem. They called to get me rescheduled for the next quarterly treatment multiple times and I was not going to have them come back out. They are not professional and do not worry about their customers. They just sent me something in the mail asking for me to call and reschedule, I called them to ask them to take me off their list and on top of the situation that happened I explained during the call that with not working very much with COVID that many people are focusing on paying bills and the same lady went into a guilt trip that if I asked for them to come out after this I'd be charged even more!
