When I said "no" they continued their pitch more aggressively. Friends, young men who disregard "no" on the job may carry that disregard into relationships. Palisade, teach your employees to honor "no soliciting" and not to hear "no thank you" as a challenge.

We never received this service of extermination of the inside of properties. Normally if the properties get exterminated they are done outside and I needed something done right away .... So I had to pay the cost. My husband was getting bit all over his arms and they were like chicken pox (swollen).... I had Brandon from this company come out to exterminate for bugs, which turned out to be Bed Bugs (which I had no idea that I had that problem)... I felt so embarrassed and Brandon reassured me that it was probably NOT my fault as it can happen to the best of us who have people visit us as they might have bed bugs attached to their clothing and bed bugs travel with people through luggage; through business airline seats ; at restaurants seats; from hotels and the best of upper-end resorts. So-- I felt better knowing that this bug is quite common . Brandon was very detailed in showing me what a bed bug looked like and where to look for them and came up with my total cost for his services. His extermination service came in 3 visits instead of one for a total cost of $275. Most exterminators charge that fee for just one application...I have not seen a bed bug since and he finished exterminating for Bed Bugs a week ago. I liked his service so much that I hired him on for a monthly basic service ($45.) a month to spray for other bugs (peaty creatures) and this will be done monthly until I say to stop. I recommend him and feel he is honest and trustworthy as we had to leave our premises for over 2 hours and he was very careful with moving our furnitures when finished. Today, I'm totally happy and trust that if we have that problem again, he will be available to help again.

I talked with them and they said we specialize in mice and everything we use in the house and yard is safe with animal. First initial visit was around $140 and we paid it that day and they came out a couple days later. I was then charged an excess of $10 more that the initial quote apparently didn't include. Fast forward neither the mice or ants have gotten better after about 3 weeks and they come back and tell me I didn't use the right stuff for the ants but will spray it now and that he can order bait stations for the mice to help with that. I was then charged an additional $76 on top of the $90 a month I just paid for that months service. I call and I am told the $76 would be refunded and was charged as a normal account and not a monthly subscription service. No refund ever came and next months bill was the full $90 again. I call again asking for the $76 refund and I am now being told the bait stations are not part of the service and that is why I was charged $76. So, I paid them the initial $150 combined to spray the wrong stuff and put sticky mice traps out that didn't catch a single mouse and only caught a snake in the garage. I was never told bait stations were additional as well as half the services we are paying for can't be performed in our back yard due to having chickens even though I was originally told everything is safe and won't impact treatment. I would not recommend Orkin to anyone and just shop for another service that is upfront and not cutting corners. If they correct this issue and service, then I may come back and adjust my review.

I called a local home inspector and asked them for a recommendation for pest control. I was given Gary Mooneyham's name (Mooneyham Pest Control). The estimate Gary provided was acceptable. We did have to wait about a month for the treatment. The crew arrived on time and completed the work on schedule and on budget (no overages). The concrete dust in the garage was vacuumed and all holes were filled after the work was complete. Gary was on site with his crew until everything was moving smoothly. I'm very pleased with the work completed.

At that visit the technician knocked on my front door where I met him in the front porch, I came back inside and closed my door, he took less than 5 min outside, then from inside my bedroom I hear the front screen door and front door open, I walk out and the technician is letting himself INTO my home and closing the door behind him! I was home alone with two large dogs, thank goodness they didn't bite him but I ran up to them first and grabbed their collars. He gave me my invoice and I asked him to leave. I was so upset and scared that he just let himself right in, no business was being done in my home, nothing needed treatment inside, he had no right to walk right in. I called the office and the front desk lady wrote it off and did not see the problem. They called to get me rescheduled for the next quarterly treatment multiple times and I was not going to have them come back out. They are not professional and do not worry about their customers. They just sent me something in the mail asking for me to call and reschedule, I called them to ask them to take me off their list and on top of the situation that happened I explained during the call that with not working very much with COVID that many people are focusing on paying bills and the same lady went into a guilt trip that if I asked for them to come out after this I'd be charged even more! I would not recommend them at all!
