This was taken off the bill if I decided to have them do the repair. It was a motor that they had to order. It took a couple days and they were back. The total repair cost was $400. Better than paying for a whole new unit close to the style I have. The gentleman was friendly and did the work quickly. I am pleased with the outcome.

I would use caution. Cost of visit to diagnose was $119 which was reasonable. However cost to…read morerepair an inlet valve on a refrigerator icemaker would be $500. When I researched the part, it was a $100 part new. Why would I pay $400 for labor on what should be about a 30 minute replacement? I watched a few YouTube videos, ordered the part and saved over $250. Many people would replace a $1000 refrigerator for a $500 repair, so I just don't think these labor rates are smart business. I'm sure they do a fine job on most repairs, but do your research on the cost of parts so you understand if the labor charge is reasonable first. I was also scolded by the rep when I called to cancel the appointment to repair, not cool.

I was disappointed with his so called knowledge for repairing appliances and the miss leading and lack of information. He was more concerned about getting a $100 for a service call (that he never mentioned when the appointment was being made) than repairing a broken appliance. It's misleading to person who is trying to have their appliances fixed.

Employees performed delivery of a new refrigerator and removal / disposal of the old refrigerator a week later. While performing this work, the employees negligently caused significant damage to my new flooring which was installed two weeks earlier. Specifically, as they removed the old refrigerator, they did not protect the new flooring and did not use an appliance dolly for proper and safe handling of the appliance. The appliance was dropped and two tears were left in the new floor. The owner said he would have someone out that afternoon or the next morning to look at repair. Nothing. When I called back, he said they would be here the first part of the next week. Nope. I spent over $7000 with this local retailer and I am not receiving any assistance with the issue that their employees caused.

My landlord hired this company to fix a broken burner on my stove. It was really frustrating…read moregetting someone to come out to do the repair. First, they tell you that you have to be available all day for them to come do the repair. I'm self-employed, so if I take a day off, I don't get paid at all for that day so this was incredibly frustrating. I also ended up having to be home multiple days for the repair to be done. They also did not notify me ahead of time when they were planning on coming the first time, so I just got a phone call while I was at work on Thursday telling me that they would be there in 20 minutes. I wasn't home (nor was I notified so that I could make arrangements to be home), so it had to be rescheduled. They told me that they would come out on Monday. I came home from a camping trip specifically for this repair just to be told on Monday that they did not have time to come do the repair. So I left my vacation for no reason and drove and hour to and from Muskegon for no reason. They rescheduled for Thursday and someone was coming out, but they did not have the right address on file so that was a hassle as well. Overall, the company seemed pretty disorganized and did not have great communication. I will say that the guy (Felix) who actually did the repair was great. He was friendly and understanding about my frustrations. He did the repair quickly, and cleaned parts of my stove that can't be cleaned unless it's taken apart. He did also explain that they recently changed software for their scheduling stuff, and that was part of why there were so many issues getting someone to come out to do the repair. While the situation was frustrating overall, I am hopeful that this was a one off and that they take steps to improve both communication and organization with scheduling. I do hope they gave my landlord a discount on the service though.
