Tried to return shoes and socks…read morebought last week since they were too small, had my receipt but not the original tag... lady guilted me and said she'd have to donate them? Also wouldn't let me return the socks because he wore them once. This is one week within my purchase and I was transparent and had receipts. Each place has their own return policy and that's fine but you don't have to be condescending. Not sure if it was the owner or not, but finding the right fit for growing children is hard and if you're working at carters you should have a little compassion toward moms figuring it out.

The store is spacious and feels new and there's plenty going on in here, but the help is lacking a little bit... and as other reviews have mentioned the lines to get out of here are very long and discouraging. I was here with 3 different females (oddly), most recently with Ashley (not a Yelper), and Ashley didn't buy anything the last time I was here specifically because of the line (and I was thrilled at that decision which I agreed with because it was longer than hell, if hell is even long IDK), and a long line can hurt business, especially when it's this long, and when you are 50/50 can be the deciding factor in not buying anything. Open extra registers, hire extra employees, sort it out peeps.

They don't pay very much for what they purchase, but it definitely takes out the hassle of selling stuff yourself. Plus they often run promos so you can usually score a pretty good deal on second hand items. Tip: bring your ID if you are going to sell.
