Wings and Tenders combo
Tony C.

Let's start by saying that I have lived in Griffin my whole life and this was my first time here. With that being said it was decent. Nothing special really. The waitress was very attentive and that's always good. The chicken tenders were the best part on my plate. The wings had a lil bite to them. Decent in size but not what I like! The wife ordered the tortilla chicken pasta and she said it was ok. Do I have to eat here again? No. I do have other family members that loves it here. I'm blessed to have a job where I work out of town often, so I'm used to having really good food out on the road. The restrooms could use some work as well. I could eat here again I guess only if someone else was buying!!

This is the Hawaiian burger.

This was my first experience eating here. All in all, I enjoyed the food. However, it was a few things that could have been better. For example, the Hawaiian burger was dry. I wanted it to be juicy and moist. It just wasn't cutting it for me. I found myself adding a lot of ketchup. The wings were light in flavor. I couldn't really taste the garlic or honey. I wouldn't say it was bland. It just didn't have the taste profile that I thought it would have. I wanted the flavors to pop more. I mean the idea of the combination seemed exciting to me. As in the overall service, the staff was great. The drinks were nice and the food came out hot. Would I come back? Yes, I would try this spot again. Next time, I'll probably try a different flavor of chicken.

Fried pickles and chicken egg rolls
Meg E.

Cold beer, hot wings, and the best fried pickles around. Try the Asian sesame wing sauce. It's sweet and spicy. I love how their wings aren't soggy or too wet. They are just right. But seriously the fried pickles!!!

It can get a bit crowded, and that said to me that's where I needed to be. I tried a few times and couldn't get inside. But I finally got in, and I see why people like it so much. It's very family friendly, as I had my niece with me. Plus, overall, the waitress was very nice, and the service was fast. Now what a surprise, a special sausage was on the menu. It's hard to find what I call red rose sausages, and cooked with a little burnt, the way I like them. Well, they are here! Of course, I ordered the grits, and there were no lumps. Those are the best kind of grits. We ordered a breakfast sandwich. It's been a while since I had one. We shared that, and it brought back memories. We actually closed down the place. As you can see in the pictures, it got empty. But when you find a great, delicious breakfast with red rose sausages that remind you of home, you'll sit there, enjoying the food and forgetting about the time.

I like to try new restaurants so headed down to Griffin and decided to give this place a shot. It was crowded, but we were able to be seated rather quickly. Our server was attentive and very nice. She did a good job explaining the different items and any specials that they had.. we opted for cheeseburger or breakfast plate, and I swapped out the bacon for fried chicken breast. Also got the lunch plate with mac & cheese and fried okra.. the fried chicken breast was absolutely delicious and so was the okra. I wasn't a huge fan of the pancake, but I got the plain one.

Clearly this Whataburger is newly opened. When I parked to go in I was one of two customers inside…read morethe restaurant. Maybe two cars in the drive thru. There was tons of staff inside. It took three of them to take one order for one person. Nobody knew what they were doing. I paid almost $14 for a jalapeño cheeseburger large sized meal. They gave me my order number to place on my table and a large cup for my drink. It took them almost 15 minutes to get me my food and I had to walk up front to ask about it. Bear in mind there was only one other person in there in front of me. When I got my food, my hamburger was cold and my fries were not far behind that. I should've gone back and asked for a new hamburger, but I was so disgusted by the ignorance and lack of training of the staff that I just wanted to eat something and leave the restaurant. The restaurant itself was very very clean and as I said before, obviously very new. I stopped at the bathroom before I left. But for a new building and a bathroom that looked clean, the whole bathroom smelled like urine. I also have to say they added pickles to a hamburger that wasn't supposed to have pickles and I had to take them off before I ate my cold hamburger. I have eaten that several other Whataburger in different towns and had a good experience. This Whataburger in Griffin, Georgia, clearly has bad training and bad management and it is just opened. I will never be back to this Whataburger again. I had to repeat four times what I did not want on my hamburger. And that's with three of them standing there helping each other. Avoid this location of Whataburger at all costs.

Downtown Griffin have limited dining options so me and a friend stopped into Bank Street cafe…read more Service was pretty good. Menu selection a decent variety. They served a glass of Chardonnay in a champagne flute that was odd. Salad seemed to just be mixed lettuce out of a bag. The bacon blue burger was very good along with a large portion of Brussels sprouts. My friend had steak bruschetta. Live music was a nice touch and you can sit at tables on the sidewalk.

I was so impressed walking inside and seeing the murals and artwork. The colors were so vibrant that the murals looked like they were coming to life. I asked the hostess if I could go upstairs to look around, and she said, "Of course." She also told me they have live music nights on the second floor, too. I finally came back down and ordered the Black and Blue Burger, which has the best crumbled blue cheese on top as well as onion rings on top with a side of Brussels sprouts. We also ordered the Turkey Wrap, which was a spinach wrap filled with oven-roasted turkey, bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, and Cajun aioli. Now who thought of that! It was so good, as was my juicy burger and Brussels sprouts. So, we decided to split our lunch in half, sharing half with each other. Plus, the portions are so huge that it's easy to share. We took our time eating because each bite had so much flavor. I must say that this place is truly one of a kind, offering the best food, service, and atmosphere.
