We love Buffalos for lunch. They get you in and out pretty quickly so your boss isn't looking for you. Their lunch specials are decently priced because you can get garbage down the road for the same cost. The service is always good and on top of your experience. I was looking for something small to eat, nothing heavy that would make me feel sluggish. The lady at Lowes Hardware directed me here; she said they have a great selection of appetizers. I sat in the nearest booth, going over a few appetizers, but what caught my eye was the Buffalo Cobb Salad. My sister ordered the Apache Wrap; she didnt like it as much. I did have a bite, okay, three bites. I did like it; maybe a little more flavor or seasoning could be added. My Cobb Salad was exactly what I was looking for in a Cobb Salad. The lettuce was fresh with the crunch of each bite. Also, it had a ton of bacon, blue crumble cheese, tomatoes, corn, and black beans. Now, the chicken was a little dry, but the salad overall made up for the chicken. Oh, it came with toast; it was very soft, buttery, and good to the point that I put my salad on top of it. We did order a small basket of chicken wings for the appetizer. We should have gone for a bigger basket. The wings were crispy and seasoned through the skin to the meat. The waitress tried to tell us we would want a bigger basket because the wings were a popular item on the menu. Also, she told us they have events there, like game night. I can see that because the place is big and has a huge patio. So I'm going to make sure I return very soon for game night and the big basket of chicken wings. read more

I hate to write bad reviews because sometime restaurants can have bad days. My biggest gripe with Buffalos is that every item we ordered was flavorless. We even added salt and the flavors were still absent. We tried the Hangover burger, chicken tenders, curly fries, tumbleweed chips, fried pickles, cheese sticks, and southwest rolls. This was my first time eating at Buffalos and my first impression was that it was not very well kept in terms of cleanliness. Table was sticky and menus were gross to the touch (sticky and damp). Let's start by saying that I have lived in Griffin my whole life and this was my first time here. With that being said it was decent. Nothing special really. The waitress was very attentive and that's always good. The chicken tenders were the best part on my plate. The wings had a lil bite to them. Decent in size but not what I like! The wife ordered the tortilla chicken pasta and she said it was ok. Do I have to eat here again? No. I do have other family members that loves it here. I'm blessed to have a job where I work out of town often, so I'm used to having really good food out on the road. The restrooms could use some work as well. Disappointing. The wings are too small to be so expensive, and too dry to be enjoyable. They were stingy with their sauces, which were bland. Someone needs to adjust their heat scale because their medium wings were mild and their honey garlic lacked both garlic and honey. I was also disappointed when I was told I could only split between two sauces. Most places let you get at least three and I was hoping to get a good variety from my first (last) visit but alas its two sauce maximum. On the positive: friendly service, very attentive and quick, food was served fast, and the house ranch is perfect. Sadly friendly staff and tasty dressing is not a saving grace. Stopped in this evening on our way home- we used to have Buffalos in our hometown and it closed down, service was terrible from the time we walked in. The host acted as if he didn't care if we got seated or not- Sit down and the server came over for drinks and just stood there- finally drinks came and again she just stood at the table- Food came out- fries and chips taste like they were re-cooked-soggy and greasy smell. Buffalo's Cafe was one of the first hot wing joints in Griffin. It's never been a classy, top of the line place, but they put out decent food and the service is slow and blunt but mostly tolerable. The chicken wings are juicy, and their sauces are mostly the classics, mild, medium, hot, lemon pepper, etc. They can be a little runny, and the one time I ordered them extra wet, they were still a little less than swimming in the sauce. The fries are good, the other sides are passable, and the atmosphere inside the main restaurant is pleasant if a bit dated, and the bar is in a closed off room that allows smoking and is accessed separately from the restaurant proper, so families can be comfortable bringing their children to the restaurant without having to wade through what's basically a biker bar to get to their tables. There are better hot wing restaurants in the area, though, so I can't fully recommend them as a go to place for your wing fix. read more

This was my first experience eating here. All in all, I enjoyed the food. However, it was a few things that could have been better. For example, the Hawaiian burger was dry. I wanted it to be juicy and moist. It just wasn't cutting it for me. I found myself adding a lot of ketchup. The wings were light in flavor. I couldn't really taste the garlic or honey. I wouldn't say it was bland. It just didn't have the taste profile that I thought it would have. I wanted the flavors to pop more. I mean the idea of the combination seemed exciting to me. As in the overall service, the staff was great. The drinks were nice and the food came out hot. Would I come back? Yes, I would try this spot again. Best wings EVER!!! I'm from California and I'm allergic to gluten, so this place showed up on my "find me gluten free" app. The staff was pretty knowledgeable about fryer contamination as well as which sauces contained gluten. Speaking of sauces, not only were they delicious, but it's like perfectly glazed. I'm not a huge fan of sauce dripping down my hand. I didn't get that here. I guess I have a different idea of what fresh food means than Buffalos. Never have gotten a Hot meal, always warm, at best. I like Buffalo's. They are a wing/chicken place. It's a chain, and the interior is a western theme, as in gunslingers and indians. I don't really eat wings, so I can't be helpful there. They have them, though, and lots of different types of sauces/heat levels. Their food is pretty good, I like the Kickin' Chicken wrap, the Chicken Tenders served over rice, black beans and queso, the country fried steak, the nachos (they are HUGE), the buffalo chicken sandwich (grilled not fried). I'll be honest, their food isn't amazing, but it's pretty tasty. Average service (depends on who you get and what time you're there). Not really a super-fast place, though, so don't go there if you have a time crunch. They have a bar, great strawberry daquiri. Pool table. Large outdoor seating. Be prepared to get very smokey. The bonus is that they have entertainment some evenings, such as trivia, music trivia, texas hold 'em poker, live bands, etc. You have to check with them to get the details. But this can give you something to do in Griffin. read more

I did not eat at this location, I actually went in with a resume to apply for work. The hostess was the first person I saw and my greeting was "how many?" I informed her I would like to speak to a Manager. She said rudely, "why?". I was caught off guard with her response and replied, " I want to leave a resume." She said," Oh, they don't do that, if you have an application they will review it and give you a call." I replied, " I'm turning in a resume and want to give it to them directly." She was now irritated and said, "She doesn't come out and talk to people about jobs, she's busy". -Keep in mind it's 4:30 PM on a Tuesday and there are 2 tables in the restaurant. I replied, "What if I had a complaint, would she come out and talk to me then?" The hostess rolled her eyes and said sarcastically, "It's worth a shot." She went in the back to get the Manager. A woman came out briskly and said, " What's the problem?" Continuing to be surprised @ their "customer service" I replied, "Hi, I wanted to hand this to you in person." She practically cut me off mid- sentence and said abruptly, " No, I don't do that, if you have an application you can give it to the hostess and we'll call you." I immediately asked her what her name was and she boasted, "Jennifer, I'm the General Manager." She was walking away as she said it and I responded, "fucken bitch." and I walked out. The negative attitude she had and the way she pompously announced her title left me shocked and sad for that restaurant. I have NEVER been treated that way applying for work at a Company and sympathize with their employees who have to deal with her on a regular basis. Her negative energy enveloped the building and the employees. I recommend NOT eating there and NOT WORKING there. Buffalo Café has a tarnished reputation as long as that woman represents that business. The owner should rethink his business decisions. read more

They have changed the menu, you now have to order the wings by weight.. which is ridiculous. I ordered 2lbs of wings, smallest wings I have ever seen & defiantly was not 2lbs, you can buy better quality for cheaper at Kroger. I got the wings dipped in "scorchin" sauce which was not hot like it should have been. The only thing that made the trip worth it was the trail blazing appetizer. We have been here numerous times. The food is pretty standard for a hot wings restaurant and the service is the same. Today was another story. We (2 adults with 2 children) arrived around 12:20 for lunch and we seated immediately. We place our regular order, with nothing special. This is when the wait began. We waited till 1:15 to ask the our waitress what the hold up was. She seemed very unconcerned and said that the kitchen was very busy and did not know when our order would be out. We told her we were leaving and she did not even seem to care. As we left, I spoke with the manager on duty who said that the bar and patio were both full for the football game. I asked her if these two areas were more important than the restaurant area. She said that orders were being filled as they came in. I told her that it did not appear this way. I told her we were leaving and she also did not seem to care. I will be calling the general manager tomorrow to complain to see if he/she has the same lack of care attitude as these ladies did. read more
