Upon entering BWW in the Willowbrook Mall I was faced with a horrific smell. Somewhere between a dirty mop to sewage. Once seated we asked our server about the smell and was told its been that way for several days and lots of people had been complaining. It was obvious as the restaurant was pretty empty. The server Jesse was the only positive thing during our experience. The food was mediocre and took a long time to come out considering the place was empty. This was my second visit to this location, and it was empty both times which doesn't surprise me. Service was just okay, nothing memorable. The biggest issue is the food--especially the wings. They simply do not come out hot, which is kind of a deal-breaker. Prices are higher than they should be for what you're getting. I had a burger on my first visit and that was actually better than the wings, which says a lot. There are plenty of other wing spots that do it 10x better, and we all know where. On September 12, 2026, at around 4:40 pm, my brother and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings at 1400 Willowbrook Mall, Wayne NJ. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst customer service experience I have ever had at a restaurant. When we arrived, the restaurant was clearly not busy. There were plenty of empty tables inside,with fewer than ten customers that we could see. It was a beautiful day, so we decided to sit out in the open area. There was only one other table occupied, and plenty of empty tables available. We were seated around 4:40 pm, given menus, and we asked to sit outside area. We sat there and waited patiently . Ten minutes went by no one came out. At 4:45pm, still no one. At 5pm, still no one. We continued waiting until approximately 5:10pm, and not one employee come outside to acknowledge us, ask if we wanted something to drink, take our order, or even check to see if we were okay. After sitting there for more than 30 minutes without any service whatsoever, my brother and i finally got up and left. As we were walking out, a male employee come in and asked if someone was serving us. I told him no and explained that we had been sitting outside for over 30 minutes without anyone coming over to us. At that point, it was too late we had already decided to leave. What makes this even more frustrating is that the restaurant was not busy. There were plenty of empty tables and very few customers inside or outside. I completely understand having to wait when a restaurant is packed, but there was absolutely no reason for us to sit there for more than 30minutes without even being acknowledged. This was completely unacceptable customer service. At the very least, someone should have come outside, greeted us, offered us drinks, or simply let us know that someone would be with us shortly. I've ordered takeout (traditional wing lunch combo) from this spot multiple times now. Each time, I've received my order as asked and without issue. The chicken is always crispy and juicy. Their lunch combos are definitely worth it but the companies prices for just the wings is expensive. The WillowBrook Mall take-out location is easy to identify between GAP and The Cheesecake Factory. Buffalo Wild Wings offers promotions through the mobile application and has offers daily to redeem. Picture below shows today's promotional sale. The speed of tonight's service was as expected to be before closing but the food was prepared correctly. Nachos could have been fresher but it was before closing time. The portions are quite large and the meal was warm upon arrival. Extra ranch and condiments were placed in the bag with utensils. The bags could be seal proof and closed with promotional stickers as one suggestion instead of an open bag design. Second suggestion, more lighting and a barrier wall outside near the waiting bench would be helpful. read more

We went in for drinks and food on a Saturday night and although it didn't look busy we weren't seated so we sat at the bar. At the foot rail there was some disgusting brown liquid pooling out from behind the bar and it smelled awful. The bartender was missing for quite sometime. When he finally returned to the bar we ordered a drink off of the menu and asked for a tequila to be substituted. Dante gave us a whole song and dance about how he can't do that and he can't do this....we've never experienced a bar or a bartender telling us they can't sub out a tequila. He was so rude and completely turned us off from the establishment, we ended up leaving. I first time visiting this location. I like that it wasn't crowded despite it being March madness and a UFC fight was showing. I like that I was able to get a good seat to see the main TV and it wasn't ridiculously loud. The food is on par with what I know BWW to be. Wings were good as usual as well as the apps I ordered. It was like those pieces of chicken that you get at Chinese restaurants. The sauce was spicy and don't ask me how the cauliflower got to the table before our drinks. The nachos were really stupid. They gave us a lot of salsa, cheese and guacamole's dip not enough chips. It wasn't even close. The nachos were oily and the guacamole had a strange aftertaste. I didn't try the cheese. Our black bean burgers took forever. Mine was messier than normal and tasted burnt. If you're trying to get a buzz, make sure you order a few drinks at a time. read more

Food here is good but the service is rough. Wait staff often disappears into the back and you have to hunt people down if you need anything like a refill or to grab your check. While the location is on the larger side, it is often empty and not too bustling like BWW locations used to be pre-covid. If you come on Tuesday you can opt for a bogo deal with traditional wings. Favorite sauces are the mango habanero, asian zing, and lemon pepper dustings. Recommend you download the app for points you can use towards food items and bottled sauces to go. read more

The complaints about the service are accurate, but a two star rating may be a bit harsh. This Buffalo Wild Wings is extremely understaffed, and when we arrived on a Thursday night, there was a 30 minute wait time even though half the tables were empty. It wasn't egregious but drinks took a while to come out and our server wasn't able to check on us frequently. However, no issues with the food itself! This was my first time at a Buffalo Wild Wings and it was exactly what I expected. My brothers and I all got boneless wings, which were buy one get one free! We tried the Mild, Medium, Hot, Honey BBQ, Caribbean Jerk, and Thai Curry wings - all pretty good! We also got the fries with Smoky Adobo and Buffalo dry rubs (the smoky adobo was way better). I also got a Tito's Mule, which was not my favorite at all (clear in color, barely had any ginger beer). Stopped in for lunch and once again it was a great visit. I ordered the spicy margarita and it was just as delicious as before. This time around I ordered the brisket tacos which were amazing and they came with chips and salsa. Hubby once again ordered the brisket burger since he's not as "adventurous" as I am when it comes to ordering something new, however will always try what I order. This place used to be good when it first opened but it's garbage now. When we got there we were asked to sit down for 5 minutes till space opened up and they had more than 20 tables available for people to sit at. The server had a great energy but took the whole order wrong from the start we asked for 20 wings, a chicken wrap and large fries. The food came out with a chicken sandwich, wings and a Mac & cheese. They didn't even remember to bring out the fries. When we tried the food everything was cold except the chicken sandwich. The Mac & cheese was cold like it just came out the fridge. When we addressed the waiter he proceeded to tell the manager she didn't even have the audacity to come and apologize about the service. When the receipt came out they took everything that we left without touching off the receipt and they were trying to charge me the chicken sandwich and the Large fries. I had to tell them again about the Fries that they didn't even come out and he took them out aswell. Went there on 1/18/23 and it's likely the last time I will go there. The staff is always friendly and we love the cheese curds, but I could not help but be grossed out by the cleanliness of the restaurant. There were fruit flies everywhere. Even in the men's bathroom. The manager also explained to us that a mouse had run through the door and not to be alarmed by the exterminator. If that's true fine, but the flies also imply a lack of cleaning. The floors are also sticky. Lastly the grill was down so we could only get fried food. I feel like that was the same issue we ran into during our prior visit. My guess is that they don't have enough staff at times to run a full kitchen. read more

Multiple time I have ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and it has come out with no sauce. If I ask for something to be left off they don't leave it off. I didn't want to share this on yelp, but the response that I got was a generic sorry for your experience here is X amount of points. I wanted to give them a chance to see if they would have operations or the franchisee respond with an email with a resolution to the issues at the restaurant. We were there Sunday 12/11 at 630ish. It was our first time (and it most likely be our last) visiting any Buffalo Wild Wings location as it was severely underwhelming from a brand standard and quality point of view. I understand that there might be challenges with labor and I'm not dining in a michelin star restaurant, but there are many other chain restaurants that are much better than what was presented last night. We were in the bar area on the high tops, next to one of the "private rooms" however, there were kitchen staff- cooks and porters that were constantly going in and out more focus on the game than anything else. Which is what lead me to believe that our order took extremely long to come out about 30 minutes to come out- it was just boneless wings, fries, and a wrap. Food- I bring up the timing on the food because I don't believe that based on what I believe the type of product that you have it should take that long. What I mean by that is I feel that the boneless chicken and the chicken used in the wrap are a Tyson prebreaded fully cooked product (the foodservice product that you get from Sysco or US Foods or whomever your vendor is) and tossed in probably a gallon jug of commercial use sauce- so it should not have take that long to prepare. Facilities- The mens restroom was not in the best condition, if the staff who maintains the restroom cannot properly close and lock the paper towel dispenser, it's not the best look. Also there were numerous frsa (food, refuse, sewage associated) flies that I observed throughout the location, which means there is a sanitation issue. Staff- Again, some of the staff were more focused on the game than the operation. I also saw one server or busser walking around eating with a tray in hand. And a server who's nails ere about 2 inches in length which is a hygiene concern. I'm pretty sure that she is not using a nail brush as part of the hand washing process, also the nail could have caused a physical contamination into the product if they were either fake or frail. Again, I initially sent this through their internal portal, believing that there would be some communication through their ops team or franchisee stating what they would do to improve the experience and standards. However, because I haven't heard back, I feel the need to share this so that future patrons know in advance what you are going to experience. I'm also pretty sure that I'll just receive another generic customer service agent response. read more

This is unfortunately the worst BWW restaurant I've been to. I've given it a couple of chances but something is always wrong. Food comes out cold, management is sub-par, and the overall experience isn't great. This was the last straw. I received a wing with what seems to be 3 feathers attached to the drumstick. It also has a huge black/green spot in the middle of the wing. Can't believe the cook let this go out to the customer. I emailed the store like instructed, and no one has gotten back to me.
