The nicest thing I can say, don't bother during the pandemic. This was our second day of having an order that was not correct from this place. Started on Wednesday night when we wanted wings. Crispy wings with the right sauce, hot fries...bring it on. Needless to say, after the buildup...our hopes were dashed. Ordered the 20 wings and fries with some extra veggies and dip. Simple enough order. Ordered on line, every line filled out and extra crispy specified. Selected the 2 sauces, the 2 dressings and celery/carrot combos. Order ready in 7 minutes. Picked up the order and headed home (3 miles) with our piping hot bag. Unpacked the bag, noticed no ketchup (had been requested), the 2 boxes of wings were very soggy and not at all Crispy. The fries were also very cold, not even Luke warm. I unpacked all the veggies and we only received 1 blue cheese when we should have had 3. Called the restaurant, manager on duty was very helpful, gave a refund and added a bonus of a comped meal to give them another try. Chose to try again today. Big mistake. I wrote my order down on paper to have my husband order with the front desk so it would be right. Another simple order: House sampler. I wanted ranch, blue cheese and marinara. No onions or jalapeño. Didn't happen that way. He Ordered with the store manager and it still got screwed up. Didn't get the sauces I had specified in writing and substitutions were made. 4 large pepper slices on my nachos and onions throughout. Both had been requested to be left out.My lunch ruined. One bright spot, hubby had a double cheeseburger with a topping of brisket and smoky adobo BBQ sauce. Super yum from the 1 bite I had. Not brave enough to eat inside a restaurant yet. If you choose takeout from here, plan on double checking your order yourself and eating in your car in case there is an error. read more

We made a reservation here because we wanted to watch the first US World Cup game and we thought it might be busy. The five of us arrived to find a largely empty restaurant. We asked the scowling hostess, who didn't greet us and seemed like she was having a bad day, if we could sit in the main room in front of the big TV and she seemed really flustered -- she checked a book and complained to the other hostess and made it clear our request was really a huge hassle before she rudely said "I really can't do that" and put us in a cafeteria-like side section at a table for 4. We pointed out that we were five people and the second woman came over and kind of threw a chair over at us and said "there you go" like we were being difficult. Asked again if we could just sit at one of the empty big 6-person booths in the deserted main room with the big TV, and she said she had to keep those open for walk-ins. I said, "that's why we made a reservation, so we could have a good spot" and she rolled her eyes and walked away without answering. The two of them-- one younger blonde and one slightly older brunette--were astonishingly rude even though we made it clear we were there for the game, which started at 9 and we were there at 7 (again, thought it would be busy) so that's a lot of food and drink. Horrific customer service. And the kicker? The room never filled up. Plenty of space where they could have seated us. So: don't make a reservation if you want a prime viewing spot, even if the place is empty. We would have left but nowhere else in town was going to be open for the whole match since it started at 9 pm. Perhaps they know this and feel they can get away with treating customers like crap because they're literally the only game in town. I won't even get into the food, it's really bad. Which we expected, we were there for the big TV mainly. All of that said, I give one extra star for Mason, our server, who was absolutely fantastic and made the whole experience much better than it would have been. He deserves a raise. read more

What a horrible waste of time and money. At exactly 10:00pm, I ordered tater tots, 5 grilled chicken dippers (breast meat with no batter) and a Pepsi. It told me 10:40pm pick up. I was astonished that I could literally drive to a supermarket, drive home, cook a chicken breast and the tots in an air fryer in less time. But, I decided I'd just get it anyway. I figured they'd probably have it ready by 10:30pm. I arrived at 10:30pm. I walked into the restaurant, there was a couple at the bar and three tables occupied in the whole place. Essentially empty. The bar tender told me she'd check in my order. She said "It'll just be a couple more minutes." I had to wait until 10:55pm! I opened the order and there were five tiny pieces of breast meat. It was less than 4oz of meat. The tots were substantial. Terrible service, terrible portion for $23 with tip. Last time I visit BWW. Wow, PATHETIC!!! read more

This is not the first Buffalo Wild Wings review in my walk down corporate conglomerate food and beverage memory lane, most of which I'd appreciate the memory fading. Unsettled walking in, guilt on the way out is typically the ruminations of my time spent. It's the morbid curiosity that spurred my return, it's been about a decade since returning for their commestables - which at the time, public opinion was relatively good - ambivalent at worst, but over time The Buff has really soured in this court of food appeals and that's undeniable. Unfounded or spot on? A dying chain or a resurrection? Not being recognized upon entering by the man upfront, not having the Traditional Wings (bone in) available - as in none at all - which is their flagship item might answer the above question to the downtown in business. With the menu game now changed, I adjusted my approach from what I wanted to one of exploration of sauce curiosity. Lemon pepper and spicy garlic parmesan - with another dipping sauce modifier which Christina the bartender served up with a friendly smile and heart shaped lenses. Sixteen ounces heffenweissen bier was well priced and drank well with the odd and not very interesting wings - is boneless a novelty item or is it here to stay? "Why remove the bone?" Maybe to appeal to a younger chicken nugget demographic? Maybe an attention grabber - the general flavor was weird but not repulsive, a strange combination that barely works - so on the verge of clashing into destruction. What's interesting is both had a crunch, an interesting juxtaposition - the chicken wasn't tender, blue cheese (ranch is a no go for me) had no cheese chunks no celery no carrots. The Mac and cheeses background story was probably about a cheese powder and noodles are noodles- they keep forever anyway. No aroma, the taste was a white cheddar film that coated my mouth with ann empty flavor and poor nutrition. The spicy wings spice level was middle of the road, anymore heat would have upset my internist and I'd wanna wipe my butt with my a snowball the very next morning- about a 3.5 outta 10 for quality - I took a picture that didn't take which is upsetting me so, my apologies for not showing it. read more

The food was excellent I enjoy chicken very much, the service could be considered exceptional but the only issue I faced during my time there was the constant playing of Taylor swift. This noise made my ears ring for near two hours after leaving which caused me to go to the hospital. The seats that we were placed in were incredibly comfortable and I felt safe but the walls had another plan with holes and dents it ruined what I believed was a safe environment. But let me reiterate that the food was amazing if I could I would blow 45 men just to have a taste of the boneless chicken the fries were also good. read more

I have eaten here several times. It's conveniently located off 295/196 in Topsham. The food is always good, you can catch a game grab something to drink and even meet some friends. Just... below average. I have tried to frequent this restaurant for a number of years, but it just gets worse everytime I go or order takeout. Today, the marinara container for the mozarella sticks didn't have a top so by the time the bag was packed at the restaurant, and the time I got home (3 miles) over half the marinara was splattered over the inside of the carton. For the Buffalitios, the sour cream and asian zing sauce was dumped on one of the three Buffalitios, and then that carton was put in the bag in its side. Needless to say, that was a disappointing mess. They did try on one of the wings cartons by wrapping it in scotch tape. Why only one of the two cartons of wings, I have no idea. We had to use scissors to open that carton. Used to be a reasonable place for about the first year, but its really bad now. If I could post pics, I would. read more

Brand new store in Topsham Mall area. Definitely a lot bigger than it looks outside. They have a nice bar area and some of the largest televisions I've ever seen. Great beer selection. Food is good too! Tuesday they have half off their traditional wings. Thursday they have half off their boneless wings. Asian Zing is probably my favorite sauce. Garlic Parmesan is right behind it. They have online ordering. They do not take reservations. Parking is plentiful. If you're feeling brave, take their blazing challenge. I really enjoy BWW food. I was at this location twice this week. The first time I got it to go I was told 15 mins when I came back there was no one up front to give me my food. The person who took my order came off break and dropped it off. But I was standing alone for 20 mins or so. Newer location at the time of this review. Besides the 'host' being a wet blanket- overall we had a good experience. Short wait for the area (5 min) but there were plenty of tables available so I'm not sure what the wait was for. Maybe the wait was for show? Appetizers and food came at almost the same time which is a strike. Waitress was attentive and friendly. The next downside was the full bottle of cologne the kid at the table next to us was wearing. My wife asked me a question right as they were sat but she had to repeat it because I blacked out from the smell. I won't hold that against the restaurant though. The food was what you expect from a Wild Wings (franchise restaurant). Work out the hosts attitude, the timing of the food delivery and the fake wait and you can add a star. read more

My daughter stopped at BWW after work to pick up a Honey Barbecue Chicken Salad. She specifically asked for no meat on the salad. She didn't check her order until she was home but was highly disappointed to find they put bacon on the salad and didn't give her any dressing. I looked at her salad to see if I could help her pick the bacon off and was appalled at what they had given her for a salad. A bucket of lettuce with about a tablespoon of cheese and the same amount of pico de Gallo and two "pieces" of garlic bread (see photo). I'm giving them three because in the past I have had a decent enough experience.. if my review was only based on my Saturday experience it would probably be closer to a one star. We were quickly seated and ordered beers. The restaurant was not busy at all and it took at least 15 mins for our beers to be poured. That was the theme for the night. Sloooow. We ordered our apps and they came out a little over 20 mins later.. we finished our apps and our waiter had never even taken our entree order, so it took at least another half hour for those to come out. When they did, most of the wings looked good except one batch had been definitely sitting under a heat lamp for some time. (They looked nothing like another person's at our table who ordered the exact same thing) They weren't freshly sauced or even hot, but at that point we were just over it. Someone else at our table tried to pay with a gift card but our waiter told us third party cards often don't work and they ended up having to pay on their card, which I find unfair. I think they are decently priced and I like the Asian zinger wings, but they are never cooked enough for me. I find their wings to be very fatty and chewy. I know people love it here, but it's just never been a favorite for me. Two and a half hours is just too long to spend in a restaurant like BWW. read more

Terrible experience. Was short on time so my friend and I figured we would try the new location. Started out ordering 2 beers off the menu which clearly confused the clueless bartender. So just got a watered down vodka soda. Both of us ordered an app and wings. He got and ate his app, then got his wings. Finally I received my wings, once I was half way through my wings my caso app arrived, barely above cold. There was no explanation or apology given.
