Sunday during football season this is a great place to go to watch all the games. Unfortunately, it's not a great place to eat. Although the service was very good, the quality of the food really wasn't. I ordered what is called the ultimate sampler, where you pick four items from their starters menu. The boneless wings were very chewy. The cauliflower wings, that I have had in the past, were not pleasant mainly because the sauce was very offputting. Mozzarella was ok but the chicken dippers were almost impossible to cut with a knife. Overall a real disappointment. Next time I'll try different items but hopefully they will make the needed changes. read more

We decided to order takeout and this was what my husband wanted. The food was ready on time, but when we got it home we were very disappointed. I ordered all flats for my wings in orange chicken flavor. The skin was so thick they were all rubbery and undercooked. I had to peel the extremely thick layer of skin off of each wing to be able to eat it. The celery that we ordered was probably cut a week ago because it was so dry on the ends it was brown and curling. Just threw those out. The cheese curds that we ordered were good but they only gave us half of a small little salad dressing cup full of dipping sauce for a large order of curds. This was our first visit to a local Buffalo Wild Wings, though I previously had dined at one in the Vegas suburbs several years ago. Hubs is a wing afficianado so I'd been wanting him to try the wings here. Please note, I don't care for wings, as they're too much effort for too little reward, but hubs enjoys them so I keep my ears open. He did enjoy his wings at this BWW and had no complaints. My chicken tenders & tots were delicious as well. Overall, service was lackluster. My vodka & cranberry took quite a while, though hubs' beer was served quickly. And we had to ask for glasses of ice water more than once. Also, our meals were not brought out together, which was weird since we were a party of only two people. My biggest disappointment was the extra side of mac & cheese we ordered. It came out first, with hubs' wings, but looked like it had been sitting for a while. The bowl was very hot though, so I stirred the macaroni to mix in the visibly dry pasta with the cheese. However, I only needed one bite to realize this mac & cheese had not been warm for quite some time. And the flavor was not good at all with a runny sauce that didn't even taste like cheese. Was there for Super Bowl, we had really great service. Our whole party enjoyed all of the food, the only thing is they have absolutely no gluten-free items on their menu so if you have a gluten allergy and are hungry do not come here. Tom Terrific here with another honest restaurant review. It's always a pleasure to discover a gem and this BW3's is one. Ample parking in a corner strip plaza i walked into a nice clean bright room and was greeted by a female cleaning tables. She told me to sit where i wanted so i bellied up to the bar. Loren was the bar tender and i asked for water. I knew i wanted wings so i selected 10 Asian Zing. Good choice. The wings came in under 12 minutes and they were paired with free bleu cheese and ranch dressing cups. Loren made sure i had napkins and towelettes. From the first bite to the last it was heavenly. They were so crispy and delicious. I loved the Asian Zing. It had a little bite to it. The wings were perfectly cooked and so good you have to try them. But like all things in Biden's World they were expensive. Ten wings were $16. That's easy math. I don't blame BW3. I blame the Big Guy, the cadaver in the Oval Office. I had a $5 gift card that took some of the sting out of it. I tipped Loren $4. I want to mention more about Loren. There's something about her that makes you gravitate to her. An easy friendliness that makes it effortless to talk to her not to mention her serving skills. This lady is an employee that managers should keep and value. In my area of Clearwater we had two BW3's that are now empty and i blame those closures on the managing partner Lauren Nobles. She was lousy at hiring people. The servers she hired looked like unsanitary trash. Plus the wings were not as good as the ones in this restaurant. My family and I came in on a Thursday evening for dinner.The waiting staff was nice but the management and kitchen was completely incompetent. For over 1& half HOURS we waited to get our food. 3/4 plates came out extremely late and my son did not even get his food. They had no utensils!!! Nor ToGo utensils either?! Service was definitely subpar. We waited at least 10 mins just to be acknowledged for a table by a hostess, who then actually ended up being our waitress. We placed our drink order (Pepsi & a strawberry lemonade) & my boyfriend drained his Pepsi & got a new one before my strawberry lemonade was brought out. It took so long that we also missed four on placing our food orders before happy hour ended, so that was a bummer too. As for our food, we ordered the beer battered onion rings to start, then I got 6 garlic parm traditional wings and my boyfriend got 10 boneless honey BBQ wings. His wings came out first, before our starter even. Then my wings came out with the onion rings. Now the wings were nicely sauced for both of us, but he said the honey BBQ sauce itself didn't taste the same as the one the now-closed Clearwater location used, so he was disappointed by that. My wings were fine, but we both agreed that the onion rings were very bland. Nice & crispy though, so they had potential at least. But flavorless, not even hit with a bit of salt or anything it seemed. When we were ready for the check, it still took a bit just to get the waitress to come close enough to ask for a box & I didn't even wait for the receipt, I just handed her the card so we could get out of there. One of our favorite places in Oldsmar. They have great daily specials and a pretty good happy hour! The food is consistently good very reliable. We always sit at the bar, and have enjoyed every single bartender we've had there. They're personable and friendly and very accommodating. The place is huge, with many TVs. The bar is indoor/outdoor. Went here with grandson and son-in-law, whose birthday we were celebrating. After we were waiting for a few minutes server came by and told us they were short of staff and just seat ourselves. Adjacent tables were closed, so no problem. Good to see social distancing. No problem, just an extra 60 cents. Others ordered a chicken sandwich meal and a tray of regular wings, mild. BWW offers a list of 21 wet sauces from mild to Blazing Carolina Reaper. I opted for that one plus number 19, Mango Habanero. Unfortunately the waitress was correct. Our food took 30 minutes to arrive. However this gave us time to open gifts and celebrate a bit. Food did arrive. The waitress was apologetic but we knew she was just overwhelmed. The food for my friends was on point, both agreed. My onion rings were crisp, hot and delicious. Sweet tea was ok and surprisingly refilled quickly. I tried dipping both sauces. The Mango Habanero had a little heat but too sweet for my taste. The Carolina Reaper was on point. This used to be a great place. Sadly, I've seen it go downhill. They absolutely nickeling dime you as portions of gotten smaller, and they charge extra for items without telling you ahead of time. It is probably the biggest sports bar in the area, so they do have that going for them. read more

The quality of chicken has def. Gone downhill recently and I see everyone's complaints. The chicken doesn't have as much meat on them at all compared to before. You can tell in the pic. They used to larger sized and had 1.5x the amount of meat on them compared to the very skinny ones we got last Tue. There's no way we'd want to pay +$30 for 20 skinny pieces of chicken especially if they didn't have a BOGO special! Also, they always forget my celery and carrots. I know it's 0.60 more and havw no prob. The music and atmosphere was overall great. Our server too was very nice and very attentive. My complaints come when it comes to the food. Most of our wings were very small and pounded on with sauce, so much it was dripping in it. We also got a side of carrots and celery, and only had 2 pieces of celery and 2.5 baby carrots. The young guy who works to-go made my ordering experience maddening. I would name an item and he would repeat it 5 times or more as he looked for the item in the computer. Don't even get me started on when I tried to make a modification. I was so frustrated after 15-20 minutes and only half my order being entered, that I gave up and had it cancelled. While I appreciate that BWW could fit us in for the Super Bowl, allowed us to take up a table for the entire game, and our server did her best with the amount of tables she had, the food tonight was less than great. One star is for our polite server Samantha who waited on our table with a lot of patience and provided a commendable level of service probably unmatched by many other staff members at this particular BWW location. The other star is for BWW providing access to the NFL game that we were there to watch today. I'd like to keep this short since I try to expend my energy into more positive reviews on Yelp, but the manager Patrick, did not leave me much choice, so I want to make sure the situation is noted. My brother arrived to BWW around lunchtime earlier today - perhaps too early - to secure a table for 6 with the purpose of eating and watching the Redskins/Falcons 1 pm game. Upon his arrival, the hostess seated him (alone) and even pushed two tables together, to accommodate the impending size of our party. No mention was made of a policy that denies seating to a party that is not at least 50% arrived; she seated him with no mention of it at all! I arrived second, about 30 minutes following his arrival. Mind you, football games begin at 1 p.m. and soon enough, Bucs fans (many of which could probably have viewed their preferred football game from the comfort of their own homes), piled into the restaurant, some ending up in a queue, waiting for the next available table. Well about 40 or so minutes from being seated, my brother and I had ordered some drinks and a couple of appetizers, ultimately waiting for the rest of our group to show up. It was around that point (1:20 or so) that a hostess in a Green Bay jersey came by and very rudely addressed my brother and I. Her words were something like, "I will give your guests another 15 minutes and if they do not show up by then, we are going to break apart your table and seat the waiting guests." Her tone was not friendly - in fact, we were so taken aback by the way she spoke to us that I mentioned it to our server, and she also agreed that the hostess had been unprofessional and just plain rude. Lo and behold, our guests were not there within the 15 minutes so I told the hostess to just break up the tables. Welp, our guests arrived shortly after, and the space previously planned to seat my brother's wife and their baby was practically taken over by the other party the hostess seated (there simply was not enough space in this vicinity to accommodate our party AND another one). The manager came over, after I asked to speak to someone who could help accommodate the rest of our party as they arrived. He was semi-apologetic but instead of seeking to repair the situation, he continuously cited a policy that we - as customers - had no knowledge of. He did absolutely nothing to help remedy the situation and continuously defended their practice of breaking up tables when partial parties were running behind. Since it became evident that Patrick employs a sales oriented approach with a lack of regard for customer satisfaction, I made it a point to note all of the customers who had only ordered waters (essentially making minimal purchases), as well as to note the uselessness in arriving early to secure a table. Management will take a qualitative approach when deciding whether or not your table deserves to be seated/served that particular day at that particular time. If the line had gone around the building, I could see their beef. In fact, had the line gone all the way to the front door, I could also understand their position. Their wait was minimal and rather than problem solve using managerial strategies, the staff at this Buffalo Wild Wings location would rather dismantle a party who arrived with enough time to secure a table, so that staff could accommodate the people who did not take initiative to secure their football game table. In sum, unless all of your football spectating party travels together and arrives with enough time to get a table at this poorly run location on Sundays, secure a new venue for your football game viewing events (I happen to favor Brickhouse, as they at least STRIVE to make their customers happy.) And Patrick, please retrain your hostess to: 1. Fully disclose seating policies prior to seating customers so that your decisions to deny seating to parties do not look biased or arbitrary. 2. Learn how to talk to adults. (unless of course you are a manger who supports her unprofessional behavior). read more

I am then asked to walk around back and come in through the back. The restaurant was open for dine in and for carry out. I stoped by for carry out. I hadn't called ahead which seemed to be a major problem. I was the only one there but it took quite a long time to order a couple of desserts. After the order was finally placed, there was a short wait. The bags were taped up in a manner where I couldn't peek inside the bags without a bit of trouble. I got back to my hotel, opened the taped up packaging only to find that they didn't bother to give me any utensils. Cheesecake and ice cream to go, but no utensils. I had to elevator downstairs and get help from the front desk while the ice cream was melting. I also expected more toppings on the cheesecake from what I remember, but I'm not certain about that. The desserts tasted pretty good. I mean it's a wing place. It was open. It was relatively convenient. The trade off was service. Just basic stuff like being prepared, attentive, thoughtful and polite. It would be nice to take things like that for granted, but you can't.
