This was the worst experience I have ever had in the service industry. At first, it seemed fine. We were a party of 2 and got seated quickly. Our waitress got our beverages and we got put our food order in fast. That was the last time we saw our waitress for 2 full hours. We waited one hour for our appetizer and a full 2 hours and 10 minutes for our food. We saw people that were seated after us were getting served before us and these were groups of people while we were only a party of 2. We each ordered a serving of wings and a side. And our waitress did not check in on us until we asked another server if there was an update on our food. Then, she came over and apologized, however she did nothing to make our experience any better. She had to get the manager who then brought our food out quickly and promised us a 15% discount. The food itself was mid and after waiting this long, we were just over it. We got the check and was expecting this discount to be applied, however we saw only $1.35 was taken off. Huh? We called our waitress over and she explained she could only apply the discount to one item on the menu. So we got 15% off $9.00. What a deal. And we were prepared to tip very well and be understanding, however we felt ignored by our waitress as she kept dodging our table with no explanation. I was here just this night, Server was GREAT and it was her 1st day but food took an hour meaning the cooks were quite slow then after we finally got our meals the chicken was dry for my spouse and my nachos were on the cooler side so we took little nibbles but never really ate it so the Server tried to get our meals comped but Assistant Manager Camden didn't know what to do and kept trying to hide the rest of the night and tried to ignore us after a good 30 minutes the other Assistant Manager came and save the night. This by far the worst Buffalo Wild Wings I have been to, this place needs help! I don't get it, I tried to go here the other day, just to go sit at the bar and get some wings at the bar. But for some reason the servers where not letting anyone in or sit at the bar which is at every Buffalo Wild Wings I have been too it's open seating. It was empty!!!! There where pleanty of seating, open tables there were 5 servers at the front door and maybe 20 people waiting for a table. Which there was pleanty of room, I asked is this a Covid restriction, the servers said no. They stated that there was only one bar tender so we couldn't sit there? And they couldn't seat anyone until there a manager? When I asked where is the manager They did not know. There was plenty of servers, more then enough to sit everyone waiting even with social distanceing (if that was even their excuse) I am not sure what the hell is going on here, but I definitely won't be back....but there are only so many food options in walking area, so who knows? read more

While this version of B-dubs is the mini 'campus' variety and they have several (understandable 1st day) kinks to work out, they also have the typical B-dubs tap selection, a nice wing-centric menu and what I am now awarding as the biggest TV in town - 120-inches of sports viewing awesomeness! Although the menu is not for everyone, we really love the variety of wing options (try the desert heat dry rub if u haven't) and their willingness to feature new sauces every couple weeks (currently featuring 'Morrocan Fire'), they are inevitably some of our other favorites. (Please bring back the maple flavor.) One would also think all the attention we were paid on grand opening day will wear off once everyone is fully trained, but even when it does, the ISU location in this area should ensure them a healthy life span August thru May at a minimum. read more

Despite our daring post-midnight entry, staff was polite and happy to please, too bad we were left with only the fried foods to pick from at this late hour but we made it work well. The wings were real tasty and deserts too. A few of us (ok me and a certain kid named Graham) sampled a squadron of Blazin and regret nothing. I still don't know why I like B-dubs, maybe it's the way I can self-loath in food form. Maybe it's how I indulge in burning up my insides with spices some Asian cultures consider a nice everyday flavor. Maybe it's spending way too much money for way too much sodium and minimally cared for bird flesh. Who knows. My wife and I waited 45 minutes for our appetizer of street tacos on a Thursday night. We were told by the waiter another table had received and accepted our order of the tacos by mistake because they also ordered street tacos. We also ordered a large honey bbq boneless wings. A manager did come over and apologize. We received our 2 orders of street tacos for free but we were starving for 45 mins with no apps. We received one order of street tacos, then our wings and then finally got a 2nd order of street tacos. All the food was tasty, hot, and good. Words truly can't accurately describe how thrilling my stay at the local Buffalo Wild Wings was. From the 25-30 minute wait outside of the location to clinking glasses of cold brews with my friends and family. The food and beverages were on par, really satisfying my craving for freshly prepared chicken strips/mozzarella sticks. If I were to cite any qualms I have with this location, I would address the lack of Summertime Shandys in their beer lineup. I was greatly disappointed by my inability to enjoy one of my favorite refreshments with my colleagues, but the remainder of my experience more than made up for this small speedbump. When I first saw this being built on ISU's campus, I was very excited because the closet one was all the way by the airport. Almost every single time I've been here, I've been disappointed. This place is the worst with carry-outs. I ordered a carry-out and went to pick it up. When I got there, they asked for my name and I told them and of course they couldn't find my order on their computer. I told them my phone number to see if they could look it up that way, and of course, still couldn't find my order. They asked me three times if I called the right one and I know I did. Finally they found my order under a misspelled name and mistyped phone number. A few other times I have ordered carry-out, my orders have been wrong. I asked to speak to the manager about all of this and he did not do anything to help me. I also find it ridiculous how many people "greet" you at the front door. There's about five employees at the front door and most of them are talking amongst themselves, not being friendly. There was a worker (in uniform) sitting on a bench, on his phone. Although there are so many workers, I do not receive a friendly environment. One time my roommate and I were waiting for a carry-out order, and the hostesses were "whispering" about us while we were standing right there! Last thing: The parking lot spaces are super tight. I came in on what was a pretty packed and busy Saturday afternoon, yet despite it not only was I seated quickly, but our food was fresh and delicious, timely and terrific. But despite those qualities, that was not the shining star of this visit. What WAS the shining star? More like WHO was the shining star. Our host Steph was an absolute rock star for us yesterday. She had a number of covers and was working her tail off to make sure her guests were well taken care of. And yet despite how busy it was, she didn't talk like she was rushed, she was incredibly personable, and very attentive. For example, when the food came out the team member who brought it out accidentally tipped over my quarter-full cup of soda. Steph was literally right behind her in seconds, cleaning the small mess up quickly, which was just plain impressive. She had a tremendous and fun personality and did her best to make sure that it was the best experience possible. I told her manager (who was also very cordial) and her straight up that this was one of the best service experiences I have had in quite a while, and I meant it. I wish I lived closer so I could come back to this location more often. Kudos to the team yes, but major props to Steph for her superior performance - you are aces! read more

I TRIED to submit this to BWW's website and it just kept clocking. I have no idea if they received my review below but, here's hoping--because it's ridiculous. First though, let me state that this BWW's service is pretty bad. I have online ordered, lets say now--at least ten times and every...single...time, my order is not ready when they quote it will be ready. Every-single-time. And, oddly enough, when I get my order my food is cold. So, it's ready in the kitchen but not ready at the take out station and actually has probably been sitting in the kitchen waiting for someone at the front desk to retrieve it? I'm not sure. Unfortunately though, I'm a buffalo sauce addict and I just can't quit ordering from this place. Moving forward. Today, my order was ACTUALLY ready but I faced an altogether different challenge. I placed an online order and went to pick it up and ATTEMPTED to pay via a gift card--the kind you buy from a grocery store that has a few other restaurants it can be used at. A girl read my order and when I gave her my gift card, she said, "Oh, I don't know what to press on the register to get this to work...". She called over a kid who was at the host stand and he, not even kidding, explained to me that these gift cards don't work. He didn't attempt to swipe the card. I said that it's super weird that these gift cards are sold all over the place in grocery stores and it you're telling me it won't work. His reply was that, yes--they just never seem to work--but he offered to get a manager for me and I asked that he do that. While he went to get the manager, another kid came up and asked to see my card. I gave it to him, he swiped it and boom, a receipt popped out. I kinda laughed and said, "it does work, doesn't it," and he replied that yes, it does and he'd only been there four days. The manager arrived a few seconds after and the kid who figured out how to process my payment was letting the other two people know how to swipe the card to get it to work. Long and short, I'm just surprised that the guy told me these cards 'just don't work'. How many other customers has he turned away simply because he didn't know how to ring up the order? I'd like to thank JOSH, the 4 day employee for handling this and figuring out how ring up a gift card-he was great! BWW. I'm sorry that I had to do this review. The cashier/server Shiba was extremely rude to us and rushed us through the ordering process. Then, when we received our food, it was missing two orders of fries, and our large Pepsi. I called to rectify the issue and the store manager was communicating with me as if I was a hassle and as if I was in the wrong for trying to correct the issue at hand.
