So I have to Doordash my food to work. BWW has been a total miss. Ordered 4 weeks ago, the order was incorrect and what I did receive barely had any of the sauces ordered on the wings. I always give a 3 strikes rule before rating. I ordered a week ago for a second time. The order wasn't even close to correct. Out of 50 wings ordered for my co-workers and I, only 2 of the 5 sauces were in the wings. When I called they started that they works refund my money. Guess what, I'm still waiting for the refund. Tonight was the third strike when they shorted us 1/3 of our wings. My co-workers and I aren't like other jobs. We work in the ER. We can't leave to get the rest of our order that they forgot. I order boneless wings frequently. Last night chose rlto grab 20 from this business in Mt Vernon IL on my way home. The wings were like rocks - you couldn't bite them they were so incredibly hard. I tried to cut the batter off to just eat the chicken but that didn't work as the meat was just tough and dry. We had to throw them in the trash and bypass dinner for the night. We went at the perfect time. The evening crowd had not stated yet and the lunch crowd was over. Hostess was very friendly and attentive. Our waiter Colby was very attentive and friendly. My daughter had the snack pack honey bbq boneless wings and fries. Fries wet re seasoned to perfect, very yummy and hot. The wings were flavorful and aa large portion size for the snack pack. I had the sampler. A little bit of everything, boneless wings, nachos, mozzarella sticks and onion rings, mine was very good too. I generally like Buffalo Wild Wings, only thing is the prices are outrageous and their food is hardly to write home about, except for the fried pickles lol. BUT, that's not why I'm writing this review. I'm a person who loves spicy food. However, their hot wings I decided to try first because I was in the Buffalo wing spirit. I HATED the sauce. I tasted waaaay too much salt. Complained with Doordash so they sent it to the restaurant. Then a couple days later I really wanted their bar pizza because it looked SUPER tasty and appealing and I dig pizza so I'd figure I'd give that a whirl along with their nachos. The tater tots with brisket, pickled jalapeños, etc., were good but had a chunk of fat the size of a silver dollar. At least the cheese curds were good. It's a typical BWW. Wings, football and beer were the order of the day Hannah was our waiter and she was fantastic. Sweet personality with a sunny disposition, great smile. Good bar food, the fried pickles made me happy and the sauce that comes with them is just spicy enough for my fragile Irish mouth. Mozzarella sticks had mozzarella inside them unlike, you know, those empty tubes of breading that masquerade as mozzarella sticks in some places) nice and crispy and not greasy. While it was Sunday evening of Memorial Day weekend, but that doesn't excuse poor service. Either be open or not. The hostest seated us at her own table. BW3 is supposed to be a sports bar, but requesting a specific ballgame at a table near us seemed to be problematic. We requested twice, it went to the wrong TV, then we went to the bar to ask the bartender. She seemed put off that we would even bother her. Ok, we finally got the game we wanted. The beer I requested from the list was not available. I was offered a poor replacement. The first indication our host/server had no clue to what they served. We ordered pulled chicken tots and buffalo cauliflower with sauces and celery. When someone from the kitchen brought our order out, it was without sauces or celery. Our host/server seemed to spend more time of the other side of the restaurant than where we were seated. (Again not, she was the one who seated us there) We finally got her attention and got our sauces and celery. After consuming most of our beverages, she came around asking if we wanted more beer. We still had some, so said, give us a minute. We finally asked for our check. When she brought it, she started to give it to me, but my wife asked for it, reviewed while she was there and used her card. When our host/server brought the receipt to sign she gave it to me and rushed off. Let me state, we are excellent tippers for even marginal service, but or server was so bad she only received a minimal tip, less than we have left a server in the last 15 years. I read the review from a customer last summer who complained that she ordered ice cream and that there were no spoons available. I didn't even see ice cream on the menu. After having several less than stellar experiences at BWW I decided to give it one more try - different city, different time. I placed an online order to go and picked it up with no issues. However, when I returned to my room and opened the French fries that cost an astonishing $3.79 I was beside myself. The quality and quantity was way worse than I've ever seen even at a fast food restaurant on a bad day. Spend your money elsewhere. I have been here probably five times and each time has been bad. The food quality and flavor are terrible (even for a BWW) and this particular location has a history of health code violations (you can look it up online). My husband and I went here twice- two weekends in a row just for the fun atmosphere! Since IL restaurants are only allowed to serve outdoors right now, BWW added a HUGE tent outside with lights and TVs underneath. The food was so good. Honestly, I haven't gone here much because I never wanted wings. Well, their fries are amazing. Fried ice cream-SO GOOD. I even tried chicken tacos one night.
