Our coach parked on the side. Plenty of room.
    Deb N.

Stopped in for lunch on our way from NC to OH. Was a little concerned because of the low ratings but we are fans of BWW so we stopped anyway. We couldn't order online, so we had to go in. The location is up behind the Chevy dealership and has plenty of parking, even for our big RV. The inside was clean and we were greeted right away by a friendly host. She let us know it was her second day and grabbed someone to help her with the order. My husband ordered the sampler platter, which includes 6 boneless wings, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and ultimate nachos. I ordered 6 boneless wings (and because it was Thursday we got 6 more free) plus fries. We were told it would be a 15 minute wait, so we let them know we would be outside in our coach. We had planned to go back in but 15 minutes later, the host brought our food to the coach :) Everything was delicious and we would definitely stop here again if our travels brought us this way.

I usually eat at Buffalo Wild Wings about once a year, simply because it is so bad. On this occasion, we were invited to lunch with some friends and this was the establishment of choice. The facility was not particularly busy on this day. The service was the star of this visit. We were seated quickly and began catching up. (Disclaimer) We were horrible customers as we were the type that were talking more than deciding what to eat. Our waitress came back 4 to 5 times to which we still had not decided. Our server was very patient and understanding. I ordered the wings with a variety of sauces. The wings were very dry and did not have much sauce. I did order celery and carrots with this and was given plenty of ranch and blue cheese. As stated before the food was not good, but I went in with low expectations, the service was the star of this location!

Stopped in here for a late lunch. I ordered 10 boneless wings, with medium sauce and spicy garlic. The sauces were flavorful but the wings were just average. Most of the flavor came from the sauce and the ranch dipping sauce. The wedges were seasoned well with a crisp outside and soft inside.

    Happy Football Sunday!!!

I see why this place only has a 3 star and that might be generous. It's now 12:53pm on a Football Sunday and these morons are still trying to figure out how to program the games on the 40+ TVs. Maybe if they started a little earlier they might have all the TVs set by game time. I came here for one reason; to catch the first quarter of the Stihler game on our way back to Charlotte. As expected they were still fiddling with the remotes and I missed the first series for the Stihlers. Chili cheese fries and traditional chicken wings to split among me, my wife and kiddos. I wasn't fond of the type of wing sauce. It was very salty and the garlic parm was not up to par. The Chile cheese fries and the carrot stick and celery were the highlight of the meal. Food was average at best!!! Leave yourself enough time to find a better place before game time and if this is the only place then get there early and be the "squeaky wheel" so they get your games tuned in on time.

We ate here our first night because we were exhausted from the journey up, but wound up getting carryout for our last night because we legitimately enjoyed it, it was sooo convenient, and there's not a ton of options in the area open later in the evening. I'm glad we took a chance on it! The first night we dined inside. It's a cozy little sports bar and exactly what you'd expect; lots of WVU memorabilia, a couple of TVs, and a nice bar. They actually had a Riesling available, to the delight of my mom, so that was a pleasant surprise! The young male host who seated us was also a super pleasant fellow. They were very busy because they were hosting a small high school reunion in what looked like an extra space for rental. However, service and food was still pretty prompt! Our waitress seemed a little distracted and had a hard time hearing us but otherwise she did a good job. We were still fairly full from lunch, so my parents and I split the appetizer platter (comes with wings, mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, and loaded potato skins) and added on an order of pretzels and beer cheese, while my husband got an order of barbeque wings. Everything was about what you'd expect, which is to say, enjoyable! The jalapeño poppers and wings were particularly good, and the ranch for dipping was clearly house-made. The revelation, however, was the pretzel sticks and beer cheese. Holy goodness, they were AMAZING. Their deliciousness alone was probably the deciding factor in our return visit. When we got carryout on the last night, each one of us ordered the pretzel sticks, lol. Seriously worth the trip! Thanks for a reliable dinner spot during our vacation!

Apparently Tequila Taco Bar has been open for a year. Everything I had was absolutely delicious. Prices were comparable to other Mexican restaurants. I had a Bahama Mama, diet coke, fajita burrito, and Texas dip. The Texas dip is the equivalent of the Jalisco dip at El Jalisco. They taste almost exactly the same -- which is a good thing. Annnnd (drumroll) they are actually CHEAPER at Tequila Taco Bar. No joke. The dip is cheaper. Jalisco dip is now nearly $13 at El Jalisco. I'm a mom. You know I compare prices. The burrito was the most glorious burrito I have ever seen. That thing was beautiful. Absolutely friggin' delicious. I couldn't eat all of the food. I was so stuffed. This is all I ate all day long and I still haven't eaten since. Super filling!!! However, I am already craving it AGAIN! I may go next weekend. Gosh, I wish I could go today. That is just how good the food is! The restaurant itself had a cool theme. Loved the vibe. The employees were friendly and attentive. They had that yummy ranchy white dip that Rocca's has that they serve with the tortillas. I should have brought that home with me. Mmm mmm! What's that stuff called anyways? If you haven't eaten there yet, GO! I command you. This place is a life-changer... and my new favorite Mexican restaurant.
