Chicken nachos appetizer was solid. Everything else (boneless wings, buffalo chicken dip) was not appetizing or visually appealing. The Pick-Six value deal was not worth it. The boneless wings were small, way more breading than meat, and the flavor was overpowering. - Had to take a Pepto Bismol tablet last night and an OTC anti-gas/anti-diarrhea pill this morning because of the food. I felt very sick on my stomach this morning. Kept that private from the group I went with. Another guest in our party messaged me today and said, "I think those wings destroyed my stomach." I think so, too! SERVICE / EXPERIENCE: - Slowest service I've seen in years. It took 10-15 mins to place drink orders, over 40 mins to order appetizers, and we were at least 60 mins in before we ordered our entrees. - Other large tables got their food / were served before we were, even though they were seated 20-30 mins after us. - Loud atmosphere, difficult to hear the people at our own table. Cherry on top: the card payment machine was continually malfunctioning and it took an additional 40 mins for our table to pay for our food. To be completely honest if I could give this location 0 stars I would. We'll start with the restrooms being very dirty, I barely wanted to use them. The entry way smelled really bad like cleaning with a dirty mop which was probably a good indication that maybe we should have eaten somewhere else. The service was good though no, complaints there. The food was very underwhelming. My potato wedges were so overcooked they were almost black. My chicken was also overcooked and I asked for extra lemon pepper and it barely had any on it. Hubby and I wanted weeknight wings for dinner so we met over at the BWW in River City. He arrived a few minutes before me and grabbed a table. The server told him that ordering was now done via QR code. When I arrived, she came back over to explain the ordering process again. However, she did take our beer and appetizer order as expected with regular table service. I pulled up the menu and added wings to our order. The process wasn't difficult, it was just kind of annoying having to log in and enter credit card information before placing an order. I added our entree of 30 wings - 10 medium, 10 sweet chile lime and 10 spicy garlic. The buffalo chicken tots appetizer was very good. The tots were crispy, the shredded chicken was moist and there was a good amount of sauce. The wings were also good. I really enjoyed the sweet chile lime sauce. My only issue was the wings weren't sauced well. Several of the medium wings barely had sauce on them. We had to flag the server down and ask for a side of medium sauce. While we were eating, a different server was sweeping the dining area. She was slamming the broom into the dustpan so loudly that it echoed throughout the restaurant. She did this for way longer than acceptable. I would give the food 4 stars. The combination of the hands off service, high prices and bizarre sweeping in the dining area knocked a star off for me. Came in by myself on a Saturday for lunch. The food was great, my server Caleb was fantastic, and one of the managers, Kelly, came to check up as well while I was there. I brought my elderly, handicapped mother here, and she didn't think she was up to going inside (she'd just had a fall in a parking lot the day before). So, I ordered our food "to go". After waiting 15 of what would be 35 minutes, I saw my mother decided to come inside. So, we asked if we could change our "to go" order for there instead. We were added to the list to wait for a table. But they brought our food packages to go anyway. We continued to wait for a table and were finally seated. Moments after we were seated, the woman pictured here came up to our table and told us the tables were not for people with take out orders. We tried to explain to her what happened, but she was very rude and indignant, refusing to listen. The hostess who seated us came by and apologized for the confusion and explained it all comes down to money. We explained whomever waited on us would be well taken care of. My mom and I each tipped the cashier separately, and our waitress who only had to bring us drinks and tableware got what was effectively a 40% tip (Christmas plus my mom just lost her husband of 12 years last week; so, she's being extra kind to everyone). Food was great, as usual for this chain. Service was adequate considering they were busy and stressing. But this woman pictured needs a different profession - one that doesn't involve working with the public. Especially not with handicapped people! I have been here twice now, both times during lunch and neither time the restaurant was busy. The service here is absolutely terrible. Both times, I called ahead to place to-go orders and was told the food would be ready in 15-20 minutes. The first trip I showed up 20 min after calling and still waited an additional 45 minutes for my food. The second time (today) I showed up 20 min after calling and waited an additional 15 minutes.....they got my order almost completely wrong and the potato wedges were cold and soggy. I asked for no lettuce or tomato on my wrap, there was lettuce and tomato on it. I asked for a particular sauce, I got the standard mild Buffalo sauce. The restaurant smell TERRIBLE and the dining room was littered with trash and food. We decided to find another restaurant and driving by the next morning, there were no less than 30 black vultures feasting on the gross amount of garbage in the back. This restaurant is easy to find if you are in this area for any reason. The outside still has new look to it. The inside is in clean condition. The seating is fresh. It was a bit busy when we got here. It took a while to be seated. The delay was not because of being full. It was because of everyone was helping others. The lunch menu is small. It has wonderful choices. It did not take us long to order and have our food. The food tasted perfectly cooked. The seasoning could not of been better. Our server, Randisha, did an amazing job. Im going to say how bad this place is. We ordered from here two days ago and they left our sides out. They also charge you a take-out fee. Then we didn't get any napkins or utensils. The music was blaring ridiculously loud and we asked on two separate occasions to turn the music down as we could not hear our colleagues conversation. Both times they complied, but they turned it down just a hair and it was still ear splitting loud. our group of six all ordered wings of various types, and the service was spotty, and the food was unanimous ..mediocre at best. The server clearly didn't want to be there and could barely manage a fake smile. I understand this is not a highbrow establishment, but the bar here was really really low. 6/3/2022; 1220-1330 Between Yelp and Google, I'm seeing a lot of negative reviews over the past several months. This is my first time at this particular location. I was immediately disappointed upon arrival. When greeted by the hostess, I asked about getting a seat outside. I was quickly informed that outdoor seating was unavailable because "it is too hot for the wait staff to work outside". Excuse me? It is 90F outside, and I was more than willing to sit outside. I've worked food and bev before. Not working outside if seating was provided, was never an option. I've also worked various farm, and hardware jobs that required work outside, despite the heat. I do wind up sitting at a table near the bar. While I was sitting I was constantly pestered by fruit flies, and flies. It may sound silly to complain about; considering I wanted to sit outside. But that is expected outside. Lastly, the bartender who was tending hi-top tables must have been nearing the end of her shift. I only kept to myself, and never asked her to go out of her way to put an order in, or ask for a drink. Instead of being asked if there was anything else I would like, I get a check. It seems to me, she would like to clock out and leave as quickly as possible. All in all, this was my least enjoyable experience at a BWW. And I will never be returning. Having looked at a lot of reviews between both Yelp or Google over the past several months, it looks like there have been more negative reviews than positive, which can only mean that management is not doing an adequate job of maintaining a staff in good working order. How can someone so incompetent still have a job in management? I had planned on staying for quite a while, and continuing to order, but instead I will never come back.
