If I could give my visit zero stars I would. Normally I have an amazing experience but this one set me off right at the start. We first got told our wait would be 10-15 mins, totally fine. Witnessed an employee get in line behind us and yell at the host "bro you don't have any tables" then continued to grab menus and go sit at a table in the bar area with his girlfriend. Annoying to my family and many others who were already waiting in line to eat dinner. I did mention this to the manager on shift and he didn't act like he gave a crap yet told me "I'll talk to him". We finally sit down and order drinks and an appetizer then our waitress is nowhere to be found. Had to order our food from the bartender when she brought us our appetizers. Then had to continue to go up to the bartender anytime we needed something. My order was completely wrong when it finally came out. Our first waitress thankfully got that out quick after waiting 15 mins for someone to check on us when our order originally came out. Waited another 15-20 mins after we were done eating until I had to once again go to the bartender to get our check and to go boxes. Got our check and the bartender gave me a hard time when I tried looking over my ticket and kept ripping it out of my hands. I was charged for the wrong order on top of my original order so I had to have her fix that, she charged my card and took the original ticket. Finally fed up and asked for the manager AGAIN done a waiter in a whole different section to tell him how horrible our visit was and he just stared at me and didn't care to offer us a discount or anything for the inconvenience of our horrible visit. All I got was attitude from the bartender and unprofessionalism from someone who is supposed to be a manager and take action when things go wrong. Hopefully Buffalo Wild Wings in Idaho Falls gets their shit together because there were multiple tables surrounding me who were unhappy as well. read more

We are very patient easy going family, having all of us working in the food industry we get it! This was by far the worst experience we had at a Buffalo Wild Wings. Our waitress, Kaylee, was not very friendly from the beginning made it seem like we were an inconvenience because we needed to sit outside due to having our dog. It took us almost 1.5 hours from the time we sat down and ordered until we got our food. We ordered appetizers that were brought out by another server that were cold and looked like they had been sitting in the window for a while. Our drinks were empty for a while before she offered refills. When we finally got our food it was cold and the dipping sauces were crusted over once again like they had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while. I am 46. I was dining with my 73 y/o mother, 11 year old daughter. I ordered a beer with dinner. They carded me, which was fine, weird but fine. Then they took my license because the manager has to look at every license...... even weirder. Then the refused to serve me a beer because my license had expired a month and a half ago (I obviously had grabbed my old one). Regardless I was obviously old enough. If the manager can't trust the staff to read a date on a license, that he needs to look at every single one he has far too much time on his hands. Second if he lacks common sense enough to see a 46 y/o with identification and refuse service that's not really management material. First off I didn't receive my order w the correct amount of wings some where missing and the wings seemed as if they where old from the day prior and just reheated and sauced up again. One of them was literally rock hard and had the texture of a stale cracker but 10x harder chicken wouldn't even peel off in pieces as a NORMAL. FRESH... wing should. And no label for me to tell which wings where which. Was out for a walk wanted to stop in for a beer and bite to eat, they card anyone now and although I understand I don't carry my id on walks, my husband has his wallet but I'm in my 50's so no worry of looking underage, so I don't even bother. Should have decided then to leave but haven't been in forever and still decided on some food, they give you suck little sauce and dip for your order and want to charge for more, it's just not right, at least give the amount of sauce as if it was coated in it. The service was so crappy. They had many tables available but didn't seem to sit anyone. We waited for 40 minutes to finally get a table only to be told it would likely be an hour before be saw a server. I do not know if it was a lack of management/scheduling skills or some other situation going on but the place only seemed to have a handful of tables actually seated. I don't know how the other customers' service was but other than asking the hostess questions every once in a while, we had no one even approach our table. When we arrived at BWW we were told 5-10 min wait, several empty tables, figured that was a staffing issue, fine. Wings seemed old, and were cold. got to go boxes and our ticket, waitress walked away with zero instruction as to where we were to pay our ticket. We (4 of us) scrambled through a mess of people and walked up to a counter where there were registers where is figured we needed to pay our ticket. a tall grumpy woman took my ticket examined it for a few seconds then rudely asked "what's this?" I replied that I would like to pay my bill. She then informed me with a very snappy attitude "I don't do that!" I asked how do I pay it then, "your waitress!" getting even nastier with me. At that point my husband handed me the keys and asked me to go wait in the truck and reassured me he would take care of it. Over all my experience at BWW was awful!! our ticket was $96 and some change and very much not worth the aggravation of the crappy cold wings let alone being treated so badly by an employee!! read more

Strongly do not recommend! Its so bad I am leaving my first ever negative review of any establishment. I recently tried this place again after receiving a gift card but had not been inside this Idaho Falls location for many years because of the last experience. What was the original experience? Party of two arrived and we were seated at a ledge of sorts that exists so folks don't walk off the stairs into the pit. Although not ideal we were okay with this at least at a visual level until we sat down for a few minutes. They had put stools up to this ledge that were very high and this being a ledge wall there was no way to get your legs under it. After sitting here for 5-10 mins with the water we were given we knew there was no way our backs would take this unconventional posture for the time it takes to go through a dining experience. When the waitress returned to take the drink order. We asked for our drinks and then asked if we could move to one of the three open booths. She said no problem and would let the hostess know. We moved and some minutes later she returned with drinks dropped them off and scurried away. The drinks were the wrong ones after taking a single sip we both set them aside waiting for her to return. A few moments later the hostess approached with a group to be seated in the booth we were sitting in. "Your not supposed to be here" she stated. I said that the waitress said we could move and was going to let you know.. She then stated "Well you said you were ok sitting at the ledge so you need to move" I said we thought that it would work but after sitting at it for a few minutes we knew it wasn't going to work out so we don't want to move. She then said she was going to get the manager and then walked the party she had with her back to figure out where to reseat them. The manager approached and his first words were you need to move back to the ledge you can't sit here. My only words were yeah we are not.. these drinks are not what we ordered, we are not going to sit there, so we are going to go ahead and leave. We got up and left the building and walked next door to McKenzie river. We were seated in McKenzie river and a large Mexican approached our table. He stated he was security from Buffalo Wild Wings and we need to pay for our drinks. I said I didn't order those drinks and I am not going to pay for them. Everyone in this restaurant is now paying attention to this interaction now as its quite odd. So what would you like to do? "If you don't pay me we are going to go ahead and call the cops." In an effort to defuse this embarrassing experience I gave him a $20 bill he snatched it and left. Our waitress at Mackenzie river walks up and asks what in the world that was all about. I told her what happened and she was appalled. Mackenzie River gave us free drinks for our meal for what our experience was at Buffalo Wild Wings. So again this was several years ago.. I had a gift card lets at least spend this thing right? Live and let live. So we go to the Buffalo Wild Wings and we ask the hostess if we can sit at the bar. "Yeah sit wherever you want down there" Are you sure I ask thinking I do not need a confrontation later. She said yep so we went and sat right at the bar. The bartender asks to see our IDs which is understandable kind of.. I am 40 years old and its been years since the last time I was carded but I chuckled at it and reached into my wallet and produced it. He looks at it and says is it ok if I verify this? I said huh? What do you mean verify it? What's there to verify? I was born in the 80's you think its fake or something? No I just have to verify it.. its corporate policy. Okay well whatever that means sure.. He then takes the ID and disappears with it into another room. What he did back there I have no idea but it causes some concern. I have never had someone disappear with my credentials before except a police officer during a traffic interaction. Anyway.. we ate our meal and were provided good service from that point forward and the interaction was pleasant. I tipped the kid the usual 20% as I do believe he was just doing as he was trained and I could see it in his eyes that he thought the ID thing was silly. He did the same thing to the next couple that sat by us that were probably in their 50's so I knew we were not singled out. So will I go back? Probably not. The walking away with the ID thing because of corporate policy seems sketchy to me. I don't know of any establishment that does this and it created a somewhat odd experience. "Are you ok if I go ahead and verify this" what an odd question to ask customers. read more

As soon as you walk in the door, the first thing you notice is the three servers standing at the podium gossiping.
