Pickup times aren't always accurate. Sometimes you'll show up 20 minutes before your food is ready. Other times it seems the food has been sitting around for 20 minutes. It's Buffalo Wild Wings - you pretty much know what to expect, right? On our most recent visit, my boyfriend and I went in for a Sunday afternoon meal and to catch some NFL. They usually have specials for game days, including a $5 cheeseburger at the time. I know, a cheeseburger at a wing chain? I was feeling risky so I ordered it. I was very pleasantly surprised, actually. The burger was pretty juicy and not at all overcooked. It comes with their fries, which I really like - they are thinner and usually salty and hot. My lower rating for this establishment is just for inconsistency of other menu items, specifically the wings. Theirs are just not always that great. Sometimes they're big, sometimes they're small, sometimes they're not crispy at all, sometimes they're too crispy. Sometimes they're drowning in sauce, and other times they're barely touched with sauce. It's a little crazy how inconsistent they can be, actually. Buffalo Wild Wings is definitely not my go-to for wings, but if someone else wants to meet here, I won't shame them for it. I'll probably get that cheeseburger again next time! If you're looking for a casual place to relax and eat after a movie at celebration cinema, Buffalo Wild Wings is pretty nice for that. A low dividing wall separates the bar area from more traditional seating, so bringing kids is no issue if that's something you're concerned about. Multiple TVs are scattered everywhere, displaying various sports and some other channels to distract yourself with while you wait. The menu has undergone a recent change in style, now displayed on a clipboard with the pages conveniently cut from long to short, showing each page's contents from first glance as opposed to rifling through them like an ordinary menu (short page at front covered apps, second covered lunch, third covered entrees, fourth covered sides and salads, fifth covered desserts). Our server handed off water and took my dad's and I's orders. He ordered their mini corn dogs and buffalo chips while I had the Santa Fe salad, no cheese, no tortilla strips, and no dressing. The food came within 15 minutes, and I was surprisingly pleased with my salad. It was full of mixed dark salad greens, and the additional pico, charred corn, and avocado was a nice touch. The salad came with two flour tortillas, which I used to scoop up the mixture as a salad green taco (I used my dad's bourbon honey mustard as a light dressing). The chicken was also very good; fully cooked with a slight kick to it (though I wouldn't go so far as to call it "spicy"). I just wish there was more of it! Dad seemed happy with his food as well, so overall we had a good time. We watched American Ninja Warrior and some football while munching away, and our waters were refilled promptly each time we finished it off. Our server was really sweet, making sure that I was aware of what I was ordering (people must not order salads with no dressing very often), and surprisingly, Buffalo Wild Wings makes pretty decent salads. Went on a weekend afternoon and it was not that busy. Got seated right away. This is probably the fourth time we have been here. Each time was pretty much the same. Decent service and decent food. This time around we both decided to get the cheese curd bacon burger. We should have gotten the single not knowing the double would be bigger than I could fit my mouth around. Burger was juicy and cooked to order. The fries were also good. We did get the pretzel before the meal and it was your typical pretzel. I didn't care for the sauce very much. It had a little heat to it, but tasted way to much pepper to it for me. All in all. A decent meal. read more

I recently visited Buffalo Wild Wings and was extremely disappointed with the experience. First off, the service was incredibly slow. It took over 30 minutes just to get our drinks, and the server seemed disinterested and inattentive. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm at best. The wings were soggy, and the sauces didn't have the bold flavors I was expecting. To top it off, the place was empty and large groups had just left, there were staff just standing around and not really doing much. Once we did talk to the manager he seemed to have put it on his employees being wrong and he took no responsibility for his restaurant they refunded us 2.75 cents for an hour of my time wasted and I couldn't really even eat the food because it wasn't fresh. Had a nice time enjoying various games on all the screens. After waiting for the host to arrive, we were seated and waited 10 minutes for our server to take our drink order. There was, and I am not exaggerating, maybe more sauce than chicken. Since Covid not many people enjoy going dining. Every time we order from here the wings are great! I took my som here on his 21st birthday and they made us all the drinks we asked for. It was a pleasure and our waitress was AWESOME! She was very attentive on making sure our drinks were filled and no matter what drink I ordered they made it. I think even during Covid we had a good time for what it was worth even if we couldn't be with friends, we had family. I ordered 2 large orders of wings and a sandwich TO GO at the bar by myself and before my order came out the bartender realized that she messed up my order by selecting dine in. A group of my friends and I ordered takeout from here, and when we got home we realized the order was majorly messed up (we ordered a bunch of different kinds of wings- some orders were missing so we didn't have enough food to go around). Kind of a bummer. The manager ended up giving us gift cards to make up for it. Last night (Super Bowl Sunday, mind you), we decided to use our gift cards towards a wings order. We decided to get dry rubbed wings with all the sauce on the side (we figured that would potentially prevent any accidents or missing orders). Whelp. We ordered 100 wings and got 3 small containers of sauce. Like.....very small. When I called and asked if that was normal standard, the manager, Kurt, said yes. I personally found it incredibly difficult to believe that MAYBE 4oz of sauce was enough for 100 wings, but that was just my personal opinion, I suppose. Kurt apologized for not "living up to my standard", and offered more gift cards. I understand that in the food industry, things don't always go as planned- especially on busy evenings like the Super Bowl. I totally get that. However, I think that there needs to be a certain "standard" to perform so that you don't have to throw gift cards at every other person in order to "make it right". I've been around and I would consider this an above average BWW's no doubt. Just like every other one they have good deals, lot's of TV's, and usually pretty prompt service. This one is ALWAYS packed. I'm talking 11am on a Sunday... still packed. Wait staff is generally friendly and responsive and the kitchen is consistent to the point where it almost looks the exact same every time you order. It's a nice place to hang out, grab a bite to eat or get a drink and watch the game. It can get a little noisy... so sometimes it's not exactly the best family outing. The three stars are because most BWW's only earn two stars in my mind... big chain business almost always means big trouble. But way to go Grand Rapids... ahead of the curve once again. read more

I received a phone call, and letter enclosed with $20 in gift certificatesand apologizing for the poor services I have been receiving and asked for me and my family to come and give them another chance. Our family obliged and decided to give it another try, this time around our host was better, still not the best but we were sat in a timely manner (under 3 minutes with no line). Our service however was much better, within the 1st minute we were engaged with our server and had our drinks (Angela). Even with the busy dinner rush she was attentive and was engaging, we even found out that they offer dinner and a movie special where you can buy the tickets at a discounted price ($8 instead of $11) while eating so you avoid the ticket line. It's hard to argue with good wings and beer! I sat at the bar with my mom. The bartenders were nice, but busy. It wasn't difficult to get their attention to order and the food always comes out quick. Unfortunately they charge for sauces...I think they need to roll those prices in somewhere else, because people don't like being nickled and dimed. But they could still get that money by putting it elsewhere.
