It was pretty busy with a bit of a wait but it seemed to go by fast especially since I spent time looking at the items in their store. My husband and I decided to share the weekend special of fried chicken and we had it with green beans, cole slaw, mashed potatoes and of course their delicious biscuits. Our meal was very good with the chicken being perfectly crunchy on the outside and nice and juicy on the inside. Being a Floridian I'm pretty loyal to Publix fried chicken but this was a close second in terms of deliciousness. Our son had the grilled catfish with Mac and cheese and the fried okra and he really enjoyed his meat also. The server and the other employees that I interacted with were all very nice. Would definitely return to this location.

1 Star - Extremely Unsanitary and Unacceptable…read more I had a very concerning experience at Miller's Ale House in Sarasota. I ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch Dunk and waited quite a while for my food. When it finally arrived, I thought the long wait was the only issue. A few minutes later, a gentleman from another table came over and told me that his girlfriend had originally been served my food. She had ordered her meal without cheese, realized it was the wrong order, and had already picked at the food with her hands before giving it back to the waitress. According to him, his girlfriend specifically told the waitress that it was the wrong order and returned it. Instead of having the kitchen remake the meal, that same plate was then brought to me and served as my food. That is completely unacceptable and, more importantly, extremely unsanitary. Once food has been served to another customer and handled at their table, it should never be taken back and served to someone else. I really appreciate the gentleman coming over and telling me what happened because otherwise I would have had no idea. This wasn't simply an incorrect order or slow service--it was a serious food-handling and sanitation issue. I hope management addresses this with the staff immediately. Customers should be able to trust that the food placed in front of them has not already been served to and handled by another customer. If you want, I can also make it a little more aggressive and attention-grabbing for Yelp, while keeping it factual so management can't easily dismiss it.

The football game special prices are really not that special. Today we ordered the cheesesteak with just meat and cheese. But it came out with everything else. So it had to be sent back. The au jus tasted off, there was a slight pickle taste to it. The burgers were pretty good. Unfortunately, two of the drinks that we got from the special football menu had incorrect prices. We mentioned the one we had originally noticed to our server, and she did take the extra $2 off for the mule. But we didn't realize that the Heineken 0 we ordered had the incorrect price until we had already paid. So we paid an extra $1.50* for that unnecessarily. We did tell our server as we were walking out. She apologized again, but it's frustrating because we were incorrectly charged for a drink during a Steelers game last year. I'm sure we will go back to watch other games to be around other fans, but I would not make this my weekly Steelers hangout. They either need to correct their menu prices/make the specials more clear, or they need to fix their POS system. *Heineken 0 is listed as being $5, but we were charged $6.50. The bucket of 5 Heineken is listed as $29. It makes no sense to pay more money for 5 in a bucket than it would be for 5 singles ($25), so I'm guessing the $5 price on the menu is incorrect.
