I sat at the bar around 5p and it looked like the staff were all in a high school friend group fight. Nobody was at the hostess stand so I walk up to the bar and sit down. After ordering appetizers the bar tender told me to "wait a little bit for me to come back. Shit is flying in the kitchen with the staff." So I waited and proceed to see staff come out over the next 30 min at various points all shaking their heads while swearing under their breath. At least three different people. When trying to order, the staff continued to talk to each other with their backs turned to customers. I genuinely felt like a burden being there because of the way they handled it. I ordered the bottomless apps and tried to get a refill from the first order multiple times, but as you can imagine, the locker talk drama was too juicy between employees. When asking questions on the menu, it was very short and annoyed responses. I used to work in the service industry and have a thick skin + empathic understanding for the workers. The last time we went they hit the order wrong & didn't bring any celery/carrots. I had the Triple Bacon Cheeseburger with fries, strawberry lemonade and a shot of Don Julio reposado. The burger is very filling but it doesnt have much flavor just oil. I hoping it'd have more of a cheesy and bacon flavor. The bacon was so burnt, it looked like a patty lol. The patties weren't as seasoned as I hoped and they looked very flat. The fries were thin and not as enjoyable as I'd hoped they'd be. I'm BIG on fries so that was disappointing. I wish the fries were a bit bigger. My drink was very sweet, as the waitress mentioned to me, but still good. I asked for a shot of Don Julio to add to my strawberry lemonade drink. But the food is always hot and delicious...full of flavor. The waiters and hosts are always friendly. It is a bar, a sports bar at that, so it can be kind of loud. If that's not your thing just order to go. Crispy chicken sandwich has become a favorite of mine, a non-burger-loving person. Sandwiches are juicy and filled with healthy, flavorful ingredients.
