I have been to BWW many times, usually for their BOGO boneless wings on Thursdays. However, they are running a promotion for AYCE apps for a table of 4 for a flat rate of either $10 or $13 depending on which apps you want. I opted for the $13 option to max out on cheese curds. They let you order 2 apps at a time and while the deal is a good value, service left something to be desired. Unfortunately, it took a while for apps to come out despite the fact that it wasn't busy and we were only ordering 2 at a time. Also, in my opinion, only the cheese curds and mozz sticks were worth it, all the other apps weren't that good, especially the chips and one of the dips (way too many chips and not enough dip - we had to ask for just the dips and no more chips for subsequent orders). It's overall a good deal to feed 4 mouths, but don't expect high quality apps, it's quantity over quality for this promo. I've been to this place 4 times now.. first time was when they first opened and it took 2 hours for food.. second time was a little better but terrible.. few weeks ago 3rd visit it was much better than the first and second time and now tonight. Two people at the bar and no one could take our order but one of the waiters chose to take some man's 25 quick picks he wanted and food before us. They were sitting right next to us. Came to this location as we thought the service would be better than the Saugus location - that was not the case. Clearly they were understaffed. Came to this location for the first time for dinner on a weeknight. Hubby and I ordered takeaway online via their website. We ordered the pretzel knots appetizer, the naked tenders, and 15 piece boneless buffalo wings. Total came out to over $30. What's Hot - Menu variety. Pretty good variety. Technically speaking, there is something for everyone- meat, vegetarians, and vegans They have a pretty good selection of appetizers, wings, salads, wraps, and burgers. - Takeout counter. That they have a separate area for takeout is definitely appreciated. That tells me they're focusing on that one thing. Additionally, we saw they have a warm fridge (not sure if that's the right term?) for their takeaway order. Our order was hot and ready to go in the takeaway containers and in the bags, properly labeled, in (what looked like a fridge) that appears to keep food warm. Definitely a plus, rather than having food sit out in the open getting cold. - Quality. Pretty good. My naked chicken tenders weren't breaded at all and not overly seasoned. They were seasoned with salt and pepper, but that was it. Hubby's boneless wings were good, as well. Decent chunks of chicken, rather than tiny bits of chicken overly breaded. The sauces were delicious and equally spicy, which is what hubby wanted. Our pretzel knots were still warm and chewy and came with 2 containers of beer cheese. Pretty good portions, too. Enough to get us full. We were given enough sauce to last through the entire meal. - Price. My chicken tenders were around $12 for 5 tenders with fries. The 15 boneless wings were around $15, which is kind of pricy, but pretty worth it. Again, good chunks of chicken and adequately sauced. Good value for money. - Takeaway containers. All their takeaway containers were in paper containers. Most of our containers were lined with parchment paper to help keep the grease from leaking through. I actually appreciated that, because that meant I could throw away the parchment paper and put the paper containers in the recycle bin. During this time of the pandemic, where takeout is more prevalent, I appreciate this environmentally friendly step. - Parking and location. There's a pretty decent size parking lot, including designated spots for takeaway orders. Very helpful. What's Not - Health and safety. When we arrived, we went to their takeout counter area. There were two staff at the counter. Both had masks, but they were under their chins. To be fair, they had their masks on, but not properly. I also saw hand sanitizers in the area, which were easily accessible, which is good. On the one hand, I get that it can be frustrating to wear a mask, especially around warm food. On the other hand, during this pandemic, I appreciate it when public places put in an extra effort to abide by health and safety protocols. This is the factor that is going to make me order takeaway from here, rather than eating in at this location. I decided to come with some friends to watch the hockey game tonight. There was no employee at the front door to seat anyone, instead: a sign please wait to be seated. There were 3 parties waiting ahead of us, so we opted to sit at the bar which was dirty and sticky. The bartender was training a new hire, and it took a while to get to us, which is fine. I was told by the bartender that it was because there was ONE chef working. I understand it's a Wednesday evening, but ONE chef is inexcusable when you have your entire bar and dining room open and servers standing around, talking. While we were eating a gentleman asked the bartender when someone was going to seat them and he promptly left when the bartender told him that. The bathroom was disgusting, toilet paper all over the floor one of the urinals was SPRAYING and leaking water all over the bathroom. I couldn't even tell anyone on the way out because there wasn't an employee in site. Food was good, but took forever and the service sucked.
