First, going to a corporate restaurant is never my first choice. But, as a transplant from Wisconsin, watching the Packers play on Sunday can be a lot of fun. The reason for BW3 is the TV set up, not the food. The servers will make sure your game of choice is viewable from your table. The beers on tap are also mostly corporate big dogs even though you are in one of the finest beer producing areas of the country. Wings are what you expect and I think it's worth while to ask for extra crispy. The people that staff the place are pretty young but super sweet. It's hard to get mad at a young guy waiting tables on a Sunday that is just as amped up about the games as you are. Even when he is not always attentive. I will probably go back. We went early for dinner when it was not yet crowded. Which leads to my only complaint, we were seated at a table right next to someone else, which was not necessary. Anyway, our server was polite, energetic, and happy to help. It happened to be Halloween, so the servers were in costume. Fun but tasteful. Our food was delicious! We got appetizer mozzarella sticks. I had a steak sandwich with onions and beer cheese and the tastiest lemonade I've ever had. And fries which were ok, and the portions were ample so my child helped me with the fries. He had chicken tenders and they brought him a variety of sauces to try. We are from out of town but I will definitely go back. Absolutely terrible hostess who had a line of customers to seat and would not seat us on a booth to stay following their seating order for servers. Then proceeded to seat next customers in booth we requested. So waiting at a table for a long period of time and server never came. On top of that, hostess said we were rude when we did not understand why we could not be set in a booth. When stopped to speak to manager on way out, they were nice and understanding. Oh man...not too many folks there mid day yesterday. Music was so booming loud we had a hard time talking to each other. I ordered street tacos and the meat had more salt in it than a big salt shaker. Staff was great, took good care of us and received a decent tip. The only thing good about this place was the server. Everything food and drink was a hard fail. We just had the worst meal ever at Buffalo Wild Wings. It was soooooooo bad. We left or returned most of it. I even spit two bites out into a napkin. Husband ordered a sandwich with no onion and the paper on the plate had a sticker that said no onion. There were onions in it. We returned that. I returned the iced tea. It tasted like what I think diluted dish water would taste like. The fried pickles were soggy and under fried. The chips were disgusting. Over salty (which is a lot coming from me) stale oil tasting. They used to have a spicy steak wrap that I liked a lot but they took it off the menu because Covid. So it's all chicken or burgers now. I don't eat chicken anywhere but home because I can't handle the tendons and cartilage. My salad that I was pressured into getting because nothing sounded good was warm and wilted. The chicken tenders in the sampler platter were over cooked and basically empty of the chicken because they were so overcooked. The nachos were smothered in fake or watered down cheese squeeze and sour cream squeeze. After several wonderful experiences with this chain in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts, I was excited to be able to find one in my home state today! Unfortunately, my experience today was abysmal. I'm never one to complain, consistently tip generously, and in all honesty this is the first negative review I've ever made. It was THAT bad. Despite having only six other tables in the entire restaurant occupied, and no one at the bar, and three waitstaff as well as a hostess, our service was horrendously slow. It'd be one thing if they were slammed (which happens), but that they weren't. When our wings finally came, they were cold and soggy (and came out with the meal despite asking for them as an appetizer). We also ordered a burger, done medium. It also came out cold, very well done, and honestly had the oddest flavor that I've ever tasted from a burger. The chicken caesar salad my niece ordered was full of gristley chicken and the greens contained a ridiculous amount of romain rib, which unto itself isn't a huge deal but it had already turned brown. We left most of what we ordered on our plates. Our server acted as if he was put out to have to attend to us, and was very unfriendly even when my party and I tried to be friendly and engaging with him. He came to our table exactly three times: to take our order, to bring our food, and to bring the check. For a $124.00 lunch for three people, that experience is just unacceptable in my book. Ok want to give this place 4-5 stars but this is on Service alone... We were in Vt on vacation and had this whole logic of lets eat somewhere that we dont have at home right?! So we are seated and I KID YOU NOT, Wait 20 minutes for someone to even come acknowledge us and then when she does shes like YEP!? I seriously wanted to check her but my BF is always big on me being polite because hes afraid they'll spit in the food. So we order drinks, which consisted of water, and Beer... she takes 15 minutes, comes back to get our order and is just totally acting like we are a Nuisance to her. We order our meals, Pulled Pork, and an order of Mushrooms & Small Wings... and a kids chicken thing. The food took a while and then when it came it was ok. I got the Boneless Spicy Asian and they were soo spicy but good with Ranch, the Mushrooms were disappointing,... The baby & the Big one shared the chicken meal and Dad loved the Pork Sandwich (he doesnt love many things so that was a plus) We are by that time being ATTACKED BY BUGS - they turned on these crazy bright flood lights and we were being bitten like crazy. We are waiting like 25 mins for her to come, it was bad. I then had to talk to a Mgr to get my check & I had to order a salad to go which took another 30 mins... I've eaten at BWW locations elsewhere and I have to admit-the food here is subpar. The blue cheese for my fried chicken sandwich tasted as if it had gone bad (yes, even blue cheese gets funky) and the blue cheese dressing on the side for the wings was bland. When we got there, we were seated immediately. By the time we'd finished eating, much of the dining room had cleared out and most of the tables in the restaurant needed bussing, but no staff in sight. Ok-I get social distancing and so forth. However the rudeness of the manager and his distaste for single diners in his restaurant was blatantly clear. There's roughly 40 TV's in here and the game I wanted to see was put on one with with the absolute worse picture. Looked like a game from the 1970's!. When asked if he could change it, he refused stating that he couldn't change this one game on a bigger, better picture TV, which absolutely no one was watching. My only other option was to pull my chair away from my table and look up at a 60 degree angle for the 3 hour game. I've never been to a BWW and not been able to watch the game I wanted to watch. I used to honestly enjoy this place but last night my friends and I ordered 65$ worth of boneless wings for the UFC match. And I'm not exaggerating when I say that our entire order would not have even been enough for a small child. Four very small boxes arrived. Upon opening them I was shocked to see that each boneless piece was barely bigger than my thumbnail. The four of us each got about six incredibly small bites which probably amounted to 3 actual wings each. We were so disappointed..and hungry afterwards that we ordered from Wings Over. I had heard about BWW for a while and there is only one location in Vermont, so on a trip to Burlington I decided to check it out. I had 12 boneless buffalo wings, 6 garlic parmesan and 6 mango habanero, plus an order of fried cheese curds. I have tried garlic parmesan wings at Pizza Hut, Sonic, Wingstop, and now BWW, and I will say that what BWW has to offer is not as good as Sonic. The mango habanero wings were extremely spicy and I had to take most of them home because my mouth felt like it was on fire. The cheese curds were great and the dipping sauce they came with was on point. The service was good and the atmosphere was fun, with plenty of TVs for any kind of sporting event you could ever think of. If you need a great place to watch the game and have some good food, give this South Burlington BWW location a try. read more

We were camping in Alburgh for a few days and visiting Burlington on a very hot wednesday afternoon. But then we got hungry. My friend knew this place was a sure bet so we looked for it for almost 30 minutes, having no idea what the name was. ( She was there a year or so ago and only remembered it had WINGS in it) Inside, a lovely breeze and the usual cozy atmosphere of sports bar. We sat by the window and enjoyed blue lemonade drinks that were not too sugary nor tingy, recommendation of the waitress. We watched the Olympics during the wait for our meal, which wasn't too long. Being really hungry and eager to try the southern tex-mex menu, we each had a side of Mac&cheese first. Creamy as hell, the best greasy thing i've had in ages. Then we each ordered a burger. If you want actual buffalo wing sauce, which is what I wanted, you need to order "Buffalo Wild". Who knew? The picture of my "combo" showed fires, a copious serving of carrots and celery and a cup of slaw. I got the fries, and that's it. $17.95 for shriveled, dry wings and tiny nuggets, with fries and none of the other advertised sides is a total ripoff. This place is bad. Like, really bad. Our server was friendly enough, but she left us there for at least 15-20 minutes before she greeted us. I saw her walk by the table several times, a simple, "I'll be right with you" would have sufficed. Then it was impossible to get her back to bring us plates and napkins after our food arrived. The food was ridiculous. We ordered Buffalo wings, I mean, it's literally the name of the restaurant, and they were probably the worst I've ever had. Why is the sauce orange? Bleh... I couldn't even eat them. The fries were basically McDonald's fries, and I was in shock when I got the bill and saw they were $7. What the heck? We shared some wings and fries and our bill was $50 before tip. They're clearly not cooking any food in that kitchen. Straight from boxes and bags. Why would anyone pay this much for frozen food? If your not familiar with BWW, they have wings, boneless wings and burgers and are known for the large variety of sauces available which include everything from sweet and tangy to call 911 because someone just died from the hot sauce. Lol. I think there must be 20 or so to choose from and they even sell the sauces so that you can bring them home. First off, the food is what it is. It's fast food, mostly involving various parts of a chicken meeting their demise in a deep fryer. However, it's just not fast enough to justify going to any of their locations over another sports bar. Now, about this particular location. We were a party of nine which they could not accomodate at one table - no problem with that. We split up five and four at opposite ends of the restaurant. Again, perfectly understandable. The downside for the restaurant is that we can say that service is uniformly awful and that it wasn't just one bad server. One of our tables left the restaurant laughing about how hard it was to get their server to bring them anything or understand that she had brought the wrong order to them. I wasn't there, so I'll leave it there. Our table couldn't get silverware. Or napkins. Or in my brother's situation, his dinner. The waitress brought out four meals, put them down and left. When she came back about ten minutes later to ask how things were, we asked about the missing dinner. "Oh", says she, "I will ask". Five minutes later, she walks past the table and takes an order at another - on way back through, we stop her and ask again. The lightbulb goes off and she sets off to inquire. Ten minutes later when she's bringing appetizers to the table behind us, we ask again. At that point, she said, "The printer in the kitchen stopped working, so they didn't make your dinner....what did you order?" "Didn't you write it down" "Yes....but what was it?" Everyone else was done at that point, so we admitted defeat and just asked her for the check. Another ten minutes later, she brings it over and tells us that she deducted the missing dinner from our bill. Laughter all around. Bottom line - bad food served poorly. read more

If you are coming here for the food, I kinda feel bad for your palate. Burlington has many restaurants (considering its size) and there are far better choices for pretty much anything on the menu here. Even the chicken wings are really just so-so. If you are coming here to watch the game, good on you! This is a sports bar after all. If you are coming here for a few drinks with friends, I think it's fine. I was traveling in Vermont and Quebec and wanted to watch the Michigan State Spartans football game. Where else in Vermont could I possibly expect to see it? Likely nowhere. New England ain't exactly college football country (w/ exception of Boston College there is no college football to speak of here). So when I walked up to the bar and asked them if I could get my MSU game on, they were more than happy to oblige. The bar seemed to have more than a few fans of Ohio State, Oklahoma, Notre Dame and a couple of other schools. I even noticed a couple of Spartys by the second half. It's nice to know you can walk into one of these Buffalo Wild Wings and know that your game will be on. Being in Vermont, it was nice to have a few Long Trail Ales to wash out the taste of defeat.
