I had a free night and made the good choice to visit this Ann Arbor Buffalo Wild Wing. I immediately noticed that it was not as noisy as other BWW's that I had visited - just a good vibe with lots of colorful art. I was impressed with their selection of NA beers and was going to order 10 wings when my excellent waitress pointed out it was buy one get one half off. That deal would give me 12 wings for less than the price of 10. She was just great. Very attentive and welcoming. I ordered my usual Hot (2 down from blazing) and was thinking maybe I should have upped the heat until my 3rd wing provoked a physiological reaction. The hot was just fine and very tasty- I took a picture of the aftermath. I tried an NA Blue Moon and an NA Guinness- both were very impressive. The Blue Moon was really tart, and the Guinness was like Guinness except for the calories ~56 for an imperial pint. Very, very enjoyable and fantastic value. I will be back. read more

So I have it a 2 because I mean it's BWW and it's convenient. Service sucked!! Sat at the bar. Yes they had a big party. But they were gone before I even waited in line to be seated (you could tell they had one because the table was still messy from them). Drink came pretty quickly but after that it took her a long time to even ask us if we wanted to order. And after that it took even longer to get our food. She blamed it on the party but no way it was that. Food came out cold (look at my cheese). Idk everything took way too long for everything!! Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. The server was extremely unfriendly and acted as if our presence was an inconvenience. We walked in when the restaurant was nearly empty, so you would think a 12-top would be welcomed, especially when business was slow. We ordered drinks, including two alcoholic beverages, which took over 30 minutes to arrive. An appetizer took about 45 minutes. The server apologized and told us our food would be right out, but it didn't arrive for another 35 minutes. When it finally came, most of the food was cold. My husband's order was incorrect, which the server admitted was because he didn't write it down properly. Our to-go order never came out with the rest of the food. Four people in our group didn't eat at all because the food was cold or inedible. When we brought this to the server's attention, his response was, "Yeah, cool, cool anything else?" This was supposed to be a birthday dinner for our daughter, who loves this place, so the situation was incredibly disappointing. I asked for a manager, who was also dismissive and said it was "hard to believe" the wait was that long, despite the fact that we arrived at 3:30 PM and didn't leave until 5:20 PM. She said she would return after adjusting the bill, but we never saw her again. Another server eventually brought our checks along with the missing food item, which was rock hard and no longer wanted. Throughout our visit, our server was argumentative, and we observed similar behavior with two other tables. One table actually got up and left after waiting over 30 minutes without being greeted. In front of the manager, the server even commented, "You really aren't going to pay for anything?which was completely unprofessional. Only two people in our party actually received food, and even then, it was incorrect. I understand bad days happen I myself am a server and manager this was unacceptable. With only four tables in the entire building, there was absolutely no excuse for the level of service we experienced. This was mind-blowing and completely uncalled for we will not be back or at least not to this location. read more

We had a pleasant dinner with some friends here last night. At first we weren't sure if they were open - some lights by the entry doors would be great! I went here to meet up with friends for a birthday gathering. I have been here before for lunch and other functions. It is in a good location with an entrance off of State street. Whoever was working take out was pretty unprofessional. I ordered a small traditional wings (lemon pepper and Parm garlic). I asked for extra seasoning on my lemon pepper. When I ordered this the employee said "huh?" In a pretty unprofessional way. I repeated myself. Somehow he got confused and both of my wings came back extra wet. Yes. You heard right. My lemon pepper and parm garlic has double the seasoning and sauce. Too bad I caught this at home and not in the restaurant. The parm garlic was almost unbearable to eat. I watched Game 2 of the NBA finals over a medium order of wings plus Cole slaw and buffalo chips. I very badly wanted to order a beer but that would mess up my heart meds so I had an unsweetened ice tea to drink. It's fine. Like all BWWs, the ambiance is bar-like: loud and poorly lit. The food is pretty much the same as it is at all the other locations. That's the great thing about chains: You know what you're getting. Service here is hit and miss. You can usually walk in and get seated right away, except during the big dinner rush, but after you sit down and order, it depends on which server you get. It doesn't seem like the management puts much of an emphasis on promptness or friendliness. Tonight, we weren't even able to get a refill during our meal, which was significantly worse than usual. Overall, reliably okay food at reliably too-high prices, but we'll be back because it's one of the few restaurants all our friends can agree on and that lets us hang out and talk. read more

I used to really like this place, but it's going down hill. I went here with some friends earlier this day, it was empty. When asked where we wanted to sit, we made it clear we wanted a booth. We got placed outside where there were many bees and unclean tables, which was frustrating. Service is always super slow, so I wasn't surprised when it took half an hour for our food to come out. I ordered a snack size boneless with medium sauce, which was crazy expensive, but good. It leaves a nice tingle in your mouth, and has decent flavor. I asked for celery, but it never came. Also, my friends ordered fries, which came out cold. In fact, one of the fries looked rotten! Absolutely disgusting. When it came time to pay, I was charged for the celery (which was no surprise). Our experience ordering takeout from this location was terrible. We had to wait and stand for 40 minutes once we arrived AT THE TIME we were told food would be ready for pickup. The staff kept telling everyone 10-15 more minutes, which was clearly not true. 40 min is a long time to wait for wings....in 40 min you could've gone to a nice sushi restaurant instead. The icing on top of the cake, or should I say the wrong sauce on top of the wing, was that we received the WRONG sauces. We ordered Spicy Garlic and Honey BBQ, and received Buffalo flavor (which neither of us like), and regular BBQ. Would not recommend this location and will unlikely order from here again.
