They definitely didn't "crack under pressure" lol. Inside, the bar and tables were very clean and organized. There is a pool table, but only one :/ I do wish they had a few more because when the bar got busy, everyone wanted a turn. The prices are amazing and the specials are so fun! I saw names of drinks I'd never heard of before! We started with the infamous White Russians and went from there. The White Russians (we got the double) were delicious...creamy with just the right amount of vodka. I swear it tasted like a milkshake. We also got a round of Scooby Snack shots. I've never had them before, but I'm a big Scooby-Doo fan, and they were mega-tasty! If you're looking for a "shake-your-booty-to-booty-bumpin'-music" kind of energy, Welch's isn't the place for you. The best I've had here was barely decent. But a recent experience is unexcusable. My chicken quesadilla was nothing but red pepper flakes in the middle and not edible (see picture). Our waitress said they were made in house but they have a new cook and took the plate to show the kitchen. So they took my uneaten plate and never offered to remake it - they just said the manager thought 10% off was OK for food I never received, the manager didn't feel it necessary to talk to us at all so I went to the host area to speak with the manager who was behind the counter, he went in the back and I was told by a hostess who came out in his place he was not available. I had a one hour lunch, order was taken after 15 minute wait. Another 45 minute wait to receive a raw cheeseburger. Manager said he was sorry, and to make things right, said he would not charge me for the food. Which doesn't 'make things right' but does make sense; I shouldn't have to pay for anything since they never delivered anything edible to me. Tables were dirty, greasy, same dishes were laying on neighboring tables when I arrived and when I left. Your money and time is better spent elsewhere. read more
