I visit Buffalo Wold Wings around the world (Canada has place). This place was the WORST Buffalo Wild Wings bar I've ever been to. Myself and others could not believe we were threatened by a patron. Management said it was the first time the patron was there, but I've been at this location 3 times and this patron has ben there every time, just be aware that this is not a place to bring your children. read more

Ordered $50 of take out for a group of people and they said it would be ready in 15-20min ... That was not the case. After an hour, we were given our food but we had to wait another 10 minutes for them to prepare a part of the order they forgot to make. They said they would comp the $5 of the order for the sandwich they forgot to prepare but that doesn't make up for holding up the whole order and letting $50 of food go cold!!! The wings were not sauced & they used a pinch of dry rub. It's not sanitary, the service was terrible! Get your sh*t together! read more

I have only eaten at Buffalo Wild Wings a handful of times, and I am not the target market for this restaurant (I don't like beer or sports...yes a square I know), but I feel I should review it anyway. I had the fish tacos, which were awesome! The waitress was attentive and friendly. It's not that the fact that I am gay, but I'm sort of glad the waitresses don't have to dress slutty at BWW...I dig the T-shirt and jeans look. There were a LOT of television sets so you won't miss ANY game. We visited this place on a Monday, but I would NOT want to be here on a big game night. I like crowds, but I prefer to eat my meals in a quiet setting. They had a rather tall wall dividing the dining area and the bar, which questioned if children are allowed in the bar area (I may never know). Also, this BWW seemed a bit smaller than the ones in bigger cities (Des Moines, Omaha, etc), but again, this is a smaller town. I'll come back, of course, but I still prefer Chipotle or Noodles & Company. read more

Just once I wish they would get the order correct for delivery! I suppose at this point it is my fault for continuing to believe in them, but we do like the food. The problem is that the order never arrives complete. It is always missing some item(s). This last time it was missing half of the wings. In addition, when you call about the issue, they try to blame the delivery service. The only problem with that is I use the BWW app to place the order, so it is the delivery service they have contracted with. As such, the service problem rests solely on Buffalo Wild Wings, either this location or the company as a whole. Like the tvs and beer. Service is very slow on food. Especially carryout. Online ordering says 20-30minutes and more like an hour and food is cold. This has happened 3 times in last two months. This is establishment has taken the crown for worst BWW. My son and I went tonight ordered traditional wings (extra crispy - mentioned three times) and boneless being Thursday. It took over an hour to get our food and the wings were soggy, cool not warm even, and just underdone. After an hour of waiting I couldn't wait any longer and had to settle for what I got. read more

Great food, although the wait for our wings was a bit long. Wasn't satisfied with the wait time. Good atmosphere otherwise. They have a good staff working hard. But the reason I put three stars is due to the fact they said our wings would be ready by 6:00 and we didn't get our wings until 6:20 which was a buzzkill. read more

Seating: We were cold in our seats the whole time. Service: the waitress took our orders & almost completely ignored me before we told her I had not ordered yet as she was about to walk off. We waited 45 minutes for our food & we stated we wanted an item as an appetizer, it came out with the rest of the food. That's understandable I guess... The manager said she would comp our appetizer, but didn't. The waitress never checked on us while we waited. She DID refill our drinks if she noticed they were low, but did NOT ask if I wanted another drink after I finished my Bloody Mary. AND our food was lukewarm / cold within minutes after receiving it. Flavor was good. Just cold. I work in customer service & rely on tips as an income as well. I understand the night is busy & that can be stressful. Had to ask for water refills (seriously, at a wing place?). Order was slow to be delivered. The burgers are literally worse than McDonald's. Everything is way too salty. Overpriced for the poor quality of food. The ambiance is"eh". There are much better locally owned sports bars and places that offer the same style of menu. read more

I will never understand the allure of buffalo wild wings. Standard wings joint that doesn't do anything special. A couple of their sauces are great. Luckily they sell them in bottles. I have recently decided to just pop in, grab the sauces I like, and sauce up the things I like at home. Sometimes that's chicken, sometimes that's burgers. Not at all worth the crazy long wait on game night or weekends. read more

Basically like any other BWW. Loud, absentee servers, and sometimes a wait for a table... but its probably the best place to get wings in the area. I wanted to order a drink, but my waitress disappeared, so I guess that wasn't an option. Overall though, BWW is still good in my book. read more

We dined here during the Iowa Games after several restaurants lost power. We were pleasantly surprised when we got in fairly quickly, but then had to wait for almost an hour for our food. Being in a college town where game days draw big crowds, they should know how to run a busy Saturday night more efficiently. By the time we got our food, I was famished, and to my dismay, the buffalo chicken macaroni showed up in a very small portion. There was one layer of noodles in the bottom of the bowl with some chicken tossed on top. It was good, but usually at restaurants, you can count on taking some mac n cheese home with you. Everyone one else's food was good, but I went away still hungry. I'll stick to my usual eateries when in Ames, and pray another power outage never hits them. read more

I wasn't overly impressed with this restaurant. It took forever to get our server to even greet us and get our drink orders. When we finally ordered, we decided to share a burger and nachos. It took a long time for our meal to get to our table and when it arrived, I wasn't impressed with the nachos. The burger was FANTASTIC, but the nachos weren't worth the almost $9 that they charge. Terrible service. Didn't get our appetizers before our main meal, even though we asked for it. When we finally did get our food it was all cold like it had sat in the kitchen for half an hour. When we were done eating our waiter, Travis, brought us our checks only to have completely the wrong items on all of our tickets. Five reprints later everything was finally ready to go. The last two times we have gone to this location the service starts out well. We get our apps and drinks ordered no problem. After that our server doesn't return for 20 minutes to take our orders. We ask for more drinks as he takes our order, 15 minutes later and still no refills. Our food comes out 45 minutes after we order it and it is cold. Sad thing is we still haven't gotten our refills. The person that brought our food was very polite and she is the one that brought us our drink refills and not our waiter. Of course after we complained our waiter came every 30 seconds to ask if we needed anything else. After everything the manager came and gave us two coupons for compensation for our bad service for our next visit. After we left we relooked at the coupons. They were over a year and a half expired.
