The Liquor Lounge is a cute, little, jazzy cocktail bar located in the heart of Monticello…read more This place is kind of small and could very easily be passed right by. While there is signage in both the front and the rear of the building you could easily mistake this place for a dive bar or even being shut down. I assure you, it's not. Once you walk in you notice a beautifully decorated lounge. Floor to ceiling mirrors ans drapes make the room appear much larger than it is. Nice leather chairs creating little seating areas and the bar can hold about 12 people. There is lots of music/musician memorabilia on the walls and some fun fixtures. Our party of 7 took up the last available seats in the otherwise packed house. We were greeted by a very busy, yet smiling, owner, Angie. She let us know she had a few drinks to make and would be back to take our order. She was the only one behind the bar and was struggling a bit to keep up. Had lots of hustle, though. The wait was a little longer than one would like be but not bad. The drinks were worth the wait. Our party of 7 all ordered something different and we all very much enjoyed our drinks. On top of well made cocktails, the prices were more than reasonable - all between $9-$12 a drink. I very much enjoyed my experience and would absolutely recommend this little lounge.

They. Were. Awesome. All my friends and family were dancing and very engaged all night long. It was really difficult to get people to leave at the end of the night because everyone was having such a fun time with Jon and his entertaining spirit. He got the crowd excited, played great music, sang along to every song and was interactive with the crowd all night. I highly recommend hiring him if you want a memorable night and to throw a fun party. My guests kept commenting on how much fun they had watching Jon play and dancing to his music. He also was easy to contact through email or text and his wife, Caris helped to organize the entire day, which ran smoothly. She was nice to work with and easy to talk to. She even helped me plan a brother/sister dance off and she was willing to answer all my many questions with respect and efficiency. My event would not have been the same without them. Thanks Rock It Man!

We ignored this. After set up, he finally started playing and singing music. I told John up front we had lots of song requests and people that would want to sing. Nick did not have or know a lot of them. It was my party so I was singing and having a good time. People farthest from the set up could not hear anyone singing besides Nick and his guitar. He took many breaks and was served drinks. We were all a bit befuddled by the whole thing. Not professional. Was asked if his Dad could do magic at the party, I declined this but after he got here he still asked again and then asked about doing balloon animals for the kids. Out of kindness I said okay but was not going to pay him. JUST very awkward. I am very disappointed in the company along with the amount of CASH I paid up front. I would be very leery of hiring this outfit. And lastly, like my husband said, we had tons of people here wanting to have a fun time, but guests were upset and sad over the set up. Pretty hard to upset a crowd just wanting to have fun.
