Applebee's Grill + Bar - Fiesta like chicken - American Near Me - Monticello, Minnesota

Good food, great service, good value. We had the 2 for $26. I had the ribblets. I thought there was too much bone and too little meat. It did smell and taste good but I wouldn't get it again. My wife had the cheeseburger she says it was worth getting again. read more

The food was mediocre not at all as good as it used to be i've been going to Applebee's for about 15 years definitely not impressed

Enjoyed the new big chicken and big burgers for $9.99. Missy had great CS and friendly. The chicken breast was hot and juicy. Missy said they now hand bread them in the mornings. Great/fast service and food. Definitely be back for the sandwich deal before it's over. read more

Applebee's Grill + Bar - Yummy - American Near Me - Monticello, Minnesota

I think this restaurant has gone downhill over the years (23). Also, the ribs are notoriously hard...everybody recommends passing on the ribs. Too bad, as ribs are a staple at Applebee's. Staff seems overworked since the pandemic, wages low? Years ago the Manager always stopped by every table to inquire how the food was; never saw a manager last night, maybe got tired hearing about the ribs! read more

Always good! Never a bad meal, pasta is always good , burgers are always good, steak sandwich is my favorite!

Rare. This is not even close to medium well. It was bloody looking when I cut. This is also after I microwaved it. They screwed up my first one and had to send me this one. The first one every bite was a chunk of fat not meat. Not worth $22. Might as well go to a fancier steak house and get what you pay for. Not happy. I was on my first date in months with my wife and always really looking forward to a good meal. This honestly was the most disgusting thing I ate. Twice in one night. read more

Last summer I ate at the Monticello Applebee's (Burbon Street Steak) and had a great cut of meat. I've ordered the same meal 3 times since and had what I would call a lesser grade of steak. Low enough to suspect the cut was "tenderized" in the traditional way...what you do to cheaper cuts of meat. The rest of the dish was fine and the service OK (restaurant is cold in the winter). read more

I have been to this Applebee's so many times it's ridiculous. Almost always amazing...has only let me down a few times (one time chicken wasn't cooked right, couple times didn't heat the chocolate lava cake dessert, and a manager tried to jokingly tell us to get out because it was late at night but it came off rude). But almost always the food is amazing. The staff is very friendly. Drinks are really good read more

With varied results at different Applebees this was a great experience in Monticello! Back in the day Applebees was consistently great! Glad to have had a great night out having dinner with my daughter. I had chicken fingers & riblets, at first French fries were not hot but they made it right immediately. Daughter had Asian chicken tacos, very tasty! Server was on top of his game and it was an enjoyable evening. read more

I was out with my family Sunday morning and decided to go to Applebees in Monticello for breakfast and I just have to thank our waitress Felicia for her amazing service she was was prompt personable and treated my family as if it was her own I will definitely be a more frequent customer because of the service we were provided! Thank you Felicia for a great experience ! read more

Caitlin our server was super rude and treated us horribly. we came in for the dollaritas and all she could say is "it's not on the menu" and didn't even bother to tell us what flavors were offered for them. She walked away and when she came back we asked what flavors there are and she said she already rang it up and can't do anything about it. Makes eating here not even enjoyable. Something needs to be done about her customer service or you are going to lose customers. From the start when she first greeted us she was insanely rude and seemed bothered we asked what kind of flavors they had. Lastly, she completely ignored another table she had who needed help And she seemed bothered to help. read more

Maybe I got them on a good day, but I feel like you can't go wrong with Applebees! Went here yesterday with 5 other people and were greeted by 2 very sweet and nice hosts. Got a booth right away. Server was suuuuper nice and checked in on us a LOT! Which was nice because we never had empty waters. I always go for the "2 for $22" deal they have here! They also have a lot of good drink specials! My friend and I ordered (2 for 22): -mozzarella sticks (nice and hot and crispy!) -3 cheese chicken penne (I asked for extra tomatoes. Yum!!!!) my friend ordered this too -2 Grey Goose/cran ($3 each, drink special that afternoon) -1 beer. Paid $36!!!! CHEAP and nice servers. Great experience :) read more

Was very good. Got the w for 20 and I got the bourbon street chicken and shrimp but they dont give you a lot of shrimp. Got some boneless wings and they were good and their was a good amount. Also got some chips with salsa and artichoke dip but did not get a lot of salsa. We ordered curbside pickup and got there about 2 min early and they started bringing out the food within a minute. Overall very good and quick. read more

Service was prompt and the food was hot and tasty. Great experience. Would go there if in town again.

I'll start by saying that we've been here multiple times and always had a pretty good experience with everything. However our last visit was bad enough to where we won't be going back. Waited at least 20 minutes for our drinks, which was water.... all we ordered was 2 or 3 appetizers. The fries were borderline cold and took forever to get the other two apps. By the time the food finally came out close to an hour later, we were already very annoyed and then, first bite in found a big hair in the brew pub pretzel appetizer. We told the server and asked for our bill. Thankfully, we didn't get charged for them read more

Planned to go here with a large group after a wedding rehearsal. Called a day prior to make reservations and were told that they wouldn't take reservations but to just give them a little lead time before coming. So we sent one of the parents over 20 minutes before the rest of the group arrived. We still had to wait 30 minutes or more to get seated at tables. They wouldn't seat is all at one or two tables so we were having to squeeze in at tables and some of our party couldn't even sit together. Then it took at least 30 minutes to get beverages and place an order. At least an hour to actually receive our food. My husband had to wave and shout to three or four wait staff and a manager before we could even get silverware. Overall completely unacceptable service. If they wanted to better prepare for large groups maybe they should take reservations! read more

Artichoke dip was horrible. Could barely eat as it was so sour. Ordered Quesidillas, they were terrible. My daughter ordered a burger and it was horribly dry. Also took 35 min to get food. Ordered a lemonade and there were floaters. Never saw manager even though we asked for them. Made a comment to the hostess on how slow the service was, she just smiled Will not return read more

ordered 4 cheese mac with honey chicken tender and it was pretty good. But the burger i got was really dry and over seasoned as well as the quesadilla way to salty. As for the service it was fast and frendly. Place is clean and good for date night. read more

Horrible all around. Don't get the pretzel bites or the pot stickers. The dipping sauces for both were pure oil. Pot Stickers were cold. Service is average read more

This place is pretty good. this is one of my favorite restaurants and i have one thing i get every time a cowboy burger. There burgers are the best but some time they have air fries (fries with not a lot of potato) but if you go there when there not really busy its a good place to grab a bite. read more

The 12 oz. Sirloin is an amazing cut of meat. I asked for it medium and it came t o me perfect. Had a baked potato and garlic green beans. An amazing dinner that I really didn't expect. Summer Shandy helped too. Kudos to Applebee's. read more

Ordered half price appetizers chicken wonton tacos and boneless wings. Both were great! And the workers were friendly, food came pretty quickly; I was well taken care of. Don't know why there were a couple of bad reviews; maybe a new cook who didn't work out. No regrets. Loved the food! read more

This is a really poor example of an Applebee's. Food was mediocre at best and the wait staff was very rushed. Food took forever and was cold. Not impressed. Culvers does a better job cooking a burger than this let down read more

Worst experience ever! Literally all of our food was cold when we got it, and not what we ordered. We had to special order items since our 15 month old is allergic to dairy, and after the loooong wait for our food, we had to rush out of our awful meal because my son broke out in hives! Never going there again, that is for sure read more

Terrible service. It took forever for a host to even greet me and the server acted like she didnt want to be there. Food was subpar and took longer than it should have to get out, considering there was hardly anybody else eating at the time. 0/10 would rather go across the street to the other food places. read more
