Enjoyed the new big chicken and big burgers for $9.99. Missy had great CS and friendly. The chicken breast was hot and juicy. Missy said they now hand bread them in the mornings. Great/fast service and food. Definitely be back for the sandwich deal before it's over. read more

I think this restaurant has gone downhill over the years (23). Also, the ribs are notoriously hard...everybody recommends passing on the ribs. Too bad, as ribs are a staple at Applebee's. Staff seems overworked since the pandemic, wages low? Years ago the Manager always stopped by every table to inquire how the food was; never saw a manager last night, maybe got tired hearing about the ribs! read more

Last summer I ate at the Monticello Applebee's (Burbon Street Steak) and had a great cut of meat. I've ordered the same meal 3 times since and had what I would call a lesser grade of steak. Low enough to suspect the cut was "tenderized" in the traditional way...what you do to cheaper cuts of meat. Rare. This is not even close to medium well. It was bloody looking when I cut. This is also after I microwaved it. They screwed up my first one and had to send me this one. The first one every bite was a chunk of fat not meat. Not worth $22. Might as well go to a fancier steak house and get what you pay for. Not happy. Almost always amazing...has only let me down a few times (one time chicken wasn't cooked right, couple times didn't heat the chocolate lava cake dessert, and a manager tried to jokingly tell us to get out because it was late at night but it came off rude). Caitlin our server was super rude and treated us horribly. we came in for the dollaritas and all she could say is "it's not on the menu" and didn't even bother to tell us what flavors were offered for them. She walked away and when she came back we asked what flavors there are and she said she already rang it up and can't do anything about it. Makes eating here not even enjoyable. Something needs to be done about her customer service or you are going to lose customers. From the start when she first greeted us she was insanely rude and seemed bothered we asked what kind of flavors they had. Maybe I got them on a good day, but I feel like you can't go wrong with Applebees! Went here yesterday with 5 other people and were greeted by 2 very sweet and nice hosts. Got a booth right away. Server was suuuuper nice and checked in on us a LOT! Which was nice because we never had empty waters. I always go for the "2 for $22" deal they have here! They also have a lot of good drink specials! My friend and I ordered (2 for 22): -mozzarella sticks (nice and hot and crispy!) -3 cheese chicken penne (I asked for extra tomatoes. Was very good. Got the w for 20 and I got the bourbon street chicken and shrimp but they dont give you a lot of shrimp. Got some boneless wings and they were good and their was a good amount. Also got some chips with salsa and artichoke dip but did not get a lot of salsa. We ordered curbside pickup and got there about 2 min early and they started bringing out the food within a minute. I'll start by saying that we've been here multiple times and always had a pretty good experience with everything. However our last visit was bad enough to where we won't be going back. Waited at least 20 minutes for our drinks, which was water.... all we ordered was 2 or 3 appetizers. The fries were borderline cold and took forever to get the other two apps. By the time the food finally came out close to an hour later, we were already very annoyed and then, first bite in found a big hair in the brew pub pretzel appetizer. Planned to go here with a large group after a wedding rehearsal. Called a day prior to make reservations and were told that they wouldn't take reservations but to just give them a little lead time before coming. So we sent one of the parents over 20 minutes before the rest of the group arrived. We still had to wait 30 minutes or more to get seated at tables. They wouldn't seat is all at one or two tables so we were having to squeeze in at tables and some of our party couldn't even sit together. Then it took at least 30 minutes to get beverages and place an order. At least an hour to actually receive our food. My husband had to wave and shout to three or four wait staff and a manager before we could even get silverware. Overall completely unacceptable service. If they wanted to better prepare for large groups maybe they should take reservations! read more

Worst experience ever! Literally all of our food was cold when we got it, and not what we ordered. We had to special order items since our 15 month old is allergic to dairy, and after the loooong wait for our food, we had to rush out of our awful meal because my son broke out in hives!
