Yesterday I took a friend to lunch here, we were not greeted by any one, so we seated ourselves, after five minutes my friend went to find menus, the greeter showed up and handed here menus and silverware. 15 minutes later the couple across from us said they were going to leave because they had been there a half hour and no one had taken there order, about that time the greeter brought us water and said our server would be there in a few minutes, a few minutes later she showed up to take the other couples order, but they said they had waited way to long already and left. She turned to us and said she would be back in a few minutes.... We were going to leave when she finally showed up, it took another 15 minutes to get our order which was soup and a chicken quesadilla, I have to say she was puzzled when she saw there was a very small tip.... Never have I visited a restaurant and received the bill and To go boxes 5 minutes after receiving food. One person in my party ordered the sampler platter in which the food looked unappealing, wonton eggrolls weren't on a stand which im accustomed to which lead to the coleslaw sauce spilling onto the plate making the breaded shrimp and buffalo chicken soggy wet and cold Jeanette never offered refills when she saw drinks getting low. Being in the service industry is expected better service than this. I am very disappointed in the service at this location. I will not recommend this location nor will I be returning. read more

When I went to Applebees in buffalo it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a Applebees. We ordered our food and we had a very long wait time and service was horrible. When I got my food my fries were still frozen in the middle and my burger was still raw on the inside. We also got sat at a dirty booth and had to ask if they could move us somewhere else. read more

My family and I have come to the Buffalo Applebees too many times to count and have had nothing but great experiences here compared to other Applebees. The service is always great. We always joke whenever we go to any other Applebees and the service isn't great we'll say "this is what we get for not going to the Buffalo Applebees." So many fun nights here from celebration dinners, to just a simple date night with the hubby. My go to is the 4 cheese mac and cheese with extra honey pepper sauce and a side of sweet Asian Chili sauce. Trust me it's delicious lol. read more

I used to dine regularly in Applebee's and it was usually good. I came in to Buffalo MN Applebee's this afternoon at 3. There were very few patrons. I sat at the bar, the bartender was great but she left after taking my order. ( Shift change ) Jeanette took over. She never smiled, barely waited on me and let the bar phone ring for 8 mins straight! I ordered Bourbon Street Steak. It arrived cut into 2 pieces.... why ? Jeanette asked sharply, if I wanted anything else... I said no thank you. She immediately handed me the bill. I paid and rounded amount up to 30 which amounted to about 3 buck tip. I explained that I usually always leave 20% plus but the service and 2 piece steak was very bad. I also said sorry. So I pray your experience is better. My to-go order of nachos was a smaller portion than normal, which was a surprise that I found when I got home and looked in the bag. When I called to complain about the rudeness that is pulled all-too-frequently on to-go customers, I was told the restaurant ran out of the standard boxes for the order and improvised by using smaller packaging that had plastic wrap as the cover. I'm all for being able to improvise, but not when it comes down to the fact that I'm not getting what I paid for. The portion was noticeably smaller and yet I paid the same price. I was picking up a car side to go order of chicken fetticine every week along with several other items and everything was great until about a month ago when they started substituting some kind of cubed/diced mystery meat (chicken?) instead of the chicken breast strips that they had used in this dish in the past. I thought it might have be a one time issue but kept happening so I don't eat at Applebees anymore. MIsleading advertising as the picture in their menu shows the chicken strips. Our waitress accidentally forgot to put our appetizer in, the friendly manager delievered us our food and we told him we missed our app. He was very apologetic and said the app was on them, he also gave us a free round of drinks. I usually love this place! Except the last time I went was the worst experience I have ever had at a resteraunt. We arrived with a party of 9. And I understand that is a lot. A wait is expected. We arrived and the hostess said it would just be a few minutes. It was a weekday evening so it wasn't very busy. We waited 20 minutes before going to the hostess and asking how much longer it would be because we had been waiting awhile. She became very rude and telling us she had no idea, and that when she told us it was going to be a few minutes, that was just a guess and we can't hold her to it. We brought up that there were two tables that could be pushed together for us that were empty. The hostess went and asked the waitress if she could put them together. She was told no. So we waited another 25 minutes. 45 minutes of waiting only for them to put the two tables that we requested earlier together anyway. They brought our silverware to us unwrapped and in a pile, so we had to divide itbourselves. I had to ask for a high chair twice, and then the one they gave me was broken so they had to get another one. The waitress hardly came to our table after taking our order. I had to go to the bar to get a refill on waters for the table. We got no apologizes from any of the staff. The manager actually seemed scared to come to our table and didn't even bother. I was so stunned at the service. I'm usually very laid back about this stuff, but this was just plain rediculous. Never again will I go back! read more

A couple minutes went by and finally a waitress says I'll be right with you. 5 minutes later and after stopping at three other tables, she decided to help us.
