    Walking distance to The Irma

We booked this place on a last minute unplanned trip to Yellowstone. What an incredible location, super clean, comfortable and high capacity cabins at a great value. This place is a hidden gem, had amazing friendly and informative staff and is highly recommended! Walking distance to amazing places in Cody. Will definitely be staying here again!

Such a cute little place. So much more spacious inside than you originally think. TV definitely needs replaced as it's not great quality but most people staying here in Cody don't care about TV anyway.

For the price you pay, ~$100, I would have hoped for better. It's just so incredibly small without a microwave or fridge. It's ok, I used the ice machine and kept some of my food cold like that. Couldn't heat up my food so I just went out to eat. There's also a heater in the room that turns on and off by itself and there's no way for us to turn it off. So basically when the room was super hot, we couldn't turn off the heater, we had to combat it using AC which is so counterproductive and un-environmentally friendly! I felt bad so I just forced myself to sleep and didn't use the AC. There's only 1 chair and a small table and no sort of table or rack to put you luggage on. The room is meant for 4 and I just spent the whole night in the bed because there was no point in getting up and squeezing past people! The room is so small that the bed next to the restroom blocked a portion of the restroom door. Restroom was clean and fine. The sink stopper was malfunctioning but we didn't really need that. Staff was nice though, but I think I could probably spend a bit more for a nicer hotel.

The cabin is cute. I like not sharing walls with people except the room on the other side of the bathroom. It's convenient parking next to the cabin. The disappointments are no coffee maker, refrigerator, or microwave. The A/C is extremely noisy.

    Tiny? Yes. Excellent value.

Waaayy overpriced for a tiny cabin. Was supposed to get a family cabin but it just had 2 queen beds, a crappy tv and a bathroom.

Good timing gave us the opportunity to stay in a 4 bed cabin even though there were only two of us.

This one is very well written and the performers are excellent. The enthusiasm of the entire cast is palpable. Again, I am a bit of an enthusiast the arts, so I really loved seeing such an engaging and entertaining show of mostly local talent. Evan Wambeke (Buffalo Bill) draws you into the show immediately. I read that he is on his 11th season of performing as Buffalo Bill and it shows in his immersion of the character, yet he seems as thrilled as if it was his first time on stage! Quite a talent. For me, the other breakout talent is Emma Mason (Annie Oakley). She is so very talented and also immerses herself in the role. She has wonderful poise and personality. Honestly, every one of the 'story' cast is excellent. Kathryn Lowell (Louisa Cody) is fabulous at portraying the distain and contempt that is so often attributed to Louisa's relationship with Bill in the tales. I could go on and on. Joaquin Levin, Hunter Miles, Jordan Thompson and Willow Fernandez are all fabulous. Joaquin has enthusiasm and portrays Frank's love of Annie very well! Hunter has great comedic timing and presence. Jordan is a force! He has great presence and personality (& is quite a jumper! lol). Willow has a beautiful voice and ethereal quality. It's been a quite a while since I have been so pleased with a show. This was easily the best show we have seen in the area. We will certainly return anytime we are in town.

This was two hours of singing, dancing, and just plain old entertaining fun. The cast is a mix of local talent whom I have seen perform here before, and theatre performers from across the country who come here specifically for the summer run of the show. Before the show, I had my picture taken onstage with Buffalo Bill Cody himself, and one can buy a Sarsaparilla or an adult beverage from the barkeep while you are up there, too. Food and drink purchased in the lobby can all be taken into the theater, and they have show souvenirs available for sale down by the stage. The vocals are fantastic, and the choreography is vibrant and very well executed. The costumes, set, décor, and props are all top-notch. Even though it is a musical, the lights, the action, and the story kept the kids in the audience transfixed to the stage throughout the show. There was even some generous candy tossing to the audience during intermission by the show's barkeep and his young assistant walking down the aisles at the start of the second act. There were two standout scenes for me in the show, both late in the Second Act. First was Homeward Bound, a touching number about Buffalo Bill's separation from his daughter Irma while on the Wild West Show's tour around the world--Shoutout to Willow Fernandez as the Older Irma, whose magnificent voice and emotional performance were stunning. Second is Row of White Trees. This haunting number is about the loss of the buffalo on the Western Plains - flowing choreography and mesmerizing music - and a great example of the synchronized choreography by the production's ensemble. This is what the family wants to see when they come to Cody. This is something your family will remember, and the kids will talk about. It will be a highlight of your time in Cody and of your vacation as well. And when the show is over, get your picture taken out front with the entire cast. It's a great time and a great memory for all - believe me. I highly recommend this as a stop while in Cody.

As I sipped my beer, I watched Jessica host one of her Sip and Paint get together. Everyone there seemed to be having a great time - lots of laughter, lots of smiles, and lots of happy people. Afterwards, I spoke to Jessica and said that I would love to try this but that I was a "can't draw a stick man" level artist. I also said that I was impressed with how well everyone's paintings seemed to have turned out. Jessica encouraged me to attend if I had the chance (I am in Cody on vacation for a couple weeks, so I did indeed have the opportunity), and that I just might surprise myself. So, despite my reticence, I made reservations for a family member and myself for the following week. When we arrived, the space was all ready to go. Tables, chairs, tabletop easels, paint brushes, a cup of water (these are water based acrylics), and a tray of all of the needed paints to complete our American masterpieces. Although the night's basic idea was an American flag based sunset with a Buffalo, We were encouraged to use our artistic creativity and to "paint whatever you feel - express yourself." I stuck with the Buffalo. Jessica patiently takes you through the steps of the painting with the brushes to use, the paints used for each step, the blending, and the brush techniques to use to get the different effects. She uses a headset and sound system so she is easily heard by all. My big fear was creating the Buffalo. I was afraid it would look like anything but a Buffalo. Who'd of thought that with just a couple of circles, an oval, and some basic angles, you can build one. We were given excellent and well-paces step by step directions and suggestions as we painted. While there is a finished example prominently displayed elevated up front, Jessica also (effortlessly it seemed) created one as she demonstrated the step. By the time it was done, there were big Buffalos, small Buffalos, flying and levitating Buffalos, branded Buffalos, and skies filled with stars and moons and comets. Just like the week before, our two hours were filled with laughter, smiles, and a lot of people surprised at how well their paintings turned out. And believe me, no one was more surprised than me. What a fun time - a great beer, a chance to meet new new people, an encouraging and charming instructor, and a result that was 100 times better than I had expected. If you get the chance, do yourself a favor and go. I guarantee you will love this.
