    BBQ chicken wings. Very good!
    Abby M.

My boyfriend and I decided to check out the Buff-O-Lina food truck tonight as we were getting beers at Southern Peak Brewery. I ordered the "Buffolina Dog" and my boyfriend the "Tar Hell Dog." We also ordered the 6-piece chicken wings with BBQ sauce to share. Both of us really liked the wings which were very meaty and flavorful. As for the hot dogs, they were just okay. The hot dogs themselves look like normal grocery store dogs that are just smothered in different toppings. Overall, everything was decent, but I wouldn't be in a rush to eat their food again.

Amazing food and fast service. I ordered the 2 hot dog combo which came with french fries and a drink. For the hot dogs you can choose from their menu of signature dogs or create your own. I chose the Tarheel dog and Redneck dog. Both were great!

Great WNY food, fast service. Reasonable pricers. We went to the brewery because of Buff-o-lina and were not dissappointed.

They have expanded over the years and always seem to have a place to sit. There is a bar which is always pretty full. Plenty of monitors around to catch your game, even in dining area. We had a group of 6 and was seated immediately and took care of by Sarrah. We ordered sodas and waters except me, PBR. Elected to start with Nachos as an app. It was ok but seem to be missing a little more cheese. The food order was Fish & Chips, Beef Sliders, Reuben Sandwich, Pimento Bacon Burger and basket of Sweet Potato Fries. Everything came out at once and was medium hot. Sarrah stayed ontop of drink refills and checked in regularly. I do say wish there was a little more pimento cheese on burger, hardly tasted it. Sorry for no pics, too much talking with family. Will be back in future.

We got 18 wings which you can choose 3 sauces for- we chose honey bbq, awesome sauce, and gold rush. We also got a plate of fried shrimp that came with two sides and we chose a side caesar and fries. For apps we got the shrimp and grits fritters. The total was around $55 for all of these items which was good. The shrimp and grits fritters were so good. This was a unique menu item that i've never had anywhere before and each bite was creamy and had a piece of shrimp in it. The fried shrimp was crispy and seasoned great. The side caesar doesn't look like much, but I tossed it in the dressing the next day and had it with some chicken and it was great. It was also a big portion for a side. The fries were perfect as well. The wings were cooked great. We loved the gold rush and honey bbq the most. The only thing I wish was that it was a bit more saucier. I would definitely come back again and it was a great late night find. We called the order in and it was ready within 15 minutes and perfectly warm.

While there ended up being a technical issue at the location. Things happen. Systems glitch. Busy nights get chaotic. What truly matters is how a business handles it and this team handled it with integrity and professionalism. The staff were clearly under a lot of pressure from frustrated customers, yet they remained respectful. I especially want to acknowledge General Manager Holly. She personally spoke with me, sincerely apologized, refunded my order, and offered a complimentary meal for me and my husband. Her empathy and accountability really stood out. Having worked in customer service myself, I know how tough those moments can be especially when you care about your team and your customers. I could tell she genuinely felt bad about what happened, and that means a lot. This Wingstop has always had great service, timely deliveries, and friendly drivers, and one rough night doesn't change that. I appreciate how they handled the situation and I will absolutely continue supporting this location. Please remember: the people behind the counter are human too. A little grace goes a long way.

Yikes, this was... Bad…read more I don't write reviews very often anymore unless it's for something really exceptional or something really bad, unfortunately this is for something really bad. I put in my order online and then went down, I had never been there before. When I walked in the place was kind of dark and dingy. That being said, they were very courteous and moved quickly. That's the only positive note I can give. Someone came out and told me that two of the items I had ordered, the barbecue bourbon beans and colored greens had not been on the menu for months. I asked why they are still on the website and I can still order them then and he replied "I guess they didn't update the website" I subbed for mac & cheese and tater tots. I also got the brisket and my fiancé got a salad and a Bavarian pretzel. The brisket was the most dry and underwhelming brisket I have ever had. I was so bummed out. Their sauces were pretty good, so I just soaked the brisket in the sauces and choked it down. The mac & cheese was Stone cold, the tater tots were soft and everything tasted as if it had been reheated in the microwave. My fiancé's salad was, no joke, about 40% lettuce and 60% cheese with a few cucumbers. Also very underwhelming. She said the pretzel was "meh". Didn't taste fresh and just wasn't good overall. I added a picture of the brisket so you can see how dry it was. I thought going to local barbecue in North Carolina was a sure bet because even the worst barbecue places are still pretty solid in NC, but this is not one of them. I didn't check yelp beforehand, my mistake. Stay away.

I got fish and chips and he got buttermilk chicken sandwich with fries. He ate all his fries and sandwich and said it was good. Sandwich came out hot but not fries. Mine was a big disappointment. The fish was burned and the batter had no flavor at all. Even doused with lots of malt vinegar, salt and pepper, it was still barely edible ( I ate the inside). If I hadn't been so hungry I would have sent it back, but I had not eaten all day and was hangry. In the picture you can see one showing the burnt side and I turned the other one over to check the other side. There was a kale slaw type salad that was just ok. Had lots of onion in it which I don't prefer. The fries were not good at all. Limp, no flavor. I only ate two and gave up. We went to Publix and got a frozen pizza and went home and cooked it. The place is nice, clean from what I saw and our waitress was wonderful. This would be a 3.5 only because of the great service.

They offer table and booth options with available seating at the bar as well. The "front of the house" are, from what i can tell, an all woman brigade, ranging in ages, and they are all so awsome!! They all bring their own spirited personality. Khao Sen can get busy at times, and these amazing women "get to it". I've seen impatient customers get annoyed after 5 mins of waiting and it's super unfair to this amazing staff. The menu has selective, authentic flavors of Thailand, and every option will have you coming for more. For appetizers we've snacked on the vegetable gyoza (GYO PAK), crispy crab sticks served with sweet chilli sauce (so delicious), Tofu Tod, which i have to emphasize this part. In over 10 years, i've not once taken a second bite when it comes to tofu. Khao Sen has their tofu lighlty battered and fried so deliciously, with their sweet chilli and ground peanuts sauce to dip in. I not only had a second bite but i ate the entire appetizer. Even my vegan friend raves about the Tofu Tod. Ok ok, moving on......ohhh it really is good though, haha. Ok, next we've lip smacked on their steamed dumplings, stuffed with ground pork, shrimp, water chestnuts, onion, scallion, and cilantro, served with a sweet soy sauce (KANOM JEEP).....yes!!!!!. Lets talk chicken wings. Seriously, dang!! Their spicy Thai-style fried chicken wings served with sweet chili sauce (KAI ZAAP) are noise makers. Take a bite and tell me you didn't go "mmMMmm". Making our way on down the list is the tender baby back ribs coated with their southern Thai-style curry paste (SI - KRONG PAD PRIK). These are topped with saffron and very much another delicious option. That's it, we left some still on the menu for next time. Entrees!! I'm between favorites at the moment. The spicy tom yum soup with egg noodles, pork and shrimp dumplings, shrimp, ground pork, fish roll, fish ball, bok choy, cilantro, scallion, crispy wontons, ground peanuts, and fried garlic oil (BA MII TOM YUM) and the northern Thai-style curry, crispy skin chicken thigh, egg noodles, crispy egg noodle, cilantro, scallion, picked radish, shallots, and lime (KHAO SOI). Both are different in flavors but equally devine in their own respects. Now direct your attention to Khao Sen's roasted duck and gravy over rice with steamed Chinese broccoli, pickled ginger, cilantro, and scallion; served with a side of sweet dipping sauce (KHAO NA PED), another eye rolling meal!! You have the option of choosing a rice, white, fried, or berry (purple rice)...... i suggest the berry. The beef broth, thin rice noodles, sliced NY strip, stewed beef, beef tendon, beef ball, cilantro, scallion, and Chinese broccoli will have you talking while eating. My cousin couldn't stop raving about the flavor while eating. All this food talk has me thirsty. I can't get enough of the Lychee Tea which is green tea, lychee, and lychee jelly. My drink magically disappears the first 2 times, everytime, the waitress sets the glass down.....poof just disappears. So, i'm forced to order another . Their peach bellini and lychee saki mojito are aMAAAAZziiing. Delightful and refreshing. Seems to really be a common theme here. Everything is flavorful and refreshingly delicious from the food to the drinks. Khao Sen offers beer, wine, ciders, sake. For non-alchoholic drinks there's fountain drinks, coffe and teas, fruit teas, milk teas, fizzy drinks, milks, annnnnd water. Parking can be limited during rush hours. There is a parking garage currently being constructed, but for now there is a parking lot and street parking. Come one Come ALL! Very simple taste- that doesn't mean bland. It captures sweet, savory and tang. Ordered green curry. Good flavor but almost bland - it can improve on the ingredients. Khao soi noodles again, taste good but missing something - All the dishes tried seems it was missing fish sauce flavor and more, which all dishes didn't seem to reflect traditional deep flavors. The chicken wings were pretty good. Wish the skin was crunchy and had a better batter. The hat yai dry rub was good, salty and sour but kind of reminded me more like tajin. My son really loved it. Service: yin and yang. One older lady who served our table was nice and attentive. The other supporting female staff there was unfriendly, almost seemed mad at the world. Slow service. Price: I don't know why NC charges so much for Asian food in general. I can't say it's outrageously expensive or reasonable price for the genre of this food. All in all, not a bad tasting food. It captured good flavor and has potential. I felt that the dishes are made afraid to show the real flavor traditional Thai flavor. May be good for entry -level food exploring.

However, It's Just Wings is actually a ghost kitchen that is apparently operating out of Chili's Grill & Bar. You are supposed to park in a to-go spot and get your order brought out to you. My husband went inside and got the wings because he was unsure if the to-go spots were for Chili's only or for "It's Just Wings". Luckily, the wings were all packaged up and on the shelf, ready-to-go for pick-up. I was really excited to try out this place, but was sadly disappointed in the quality. I ordered 4 different flavors (8 wings each). There were free fries that came with each box of wings. However, the fries were all lukewarm and incredibly damp with grease. The Honey Sriracha wings were overcooked (very crunchy and dry), not warm in temperature, and barely sauced. The Cajun Dry Rub wings were warm, but the seasoning was very mild (not very cajun-ey at all). The Garlic Parmesan wings had a Caesar salad dressing sauce on them and they were too wet. The Ranch Dry Rub wings were tender, properly seasoned, and warm. The wings were all very inconsistent with how they were prepped and packaged. We were so disappointed with our order that we will not be ordering again.
