Newbie here! I came to Buff City Soap to pick up some beard oil for my spa. Nate came over and guided me through the whole store and was very patient and kind to me. We had a great conversation and we were bouncing ideas off of each other about fragrance combos. I ended up picking up a few things... one of them being some Oatmeal and Honey oil for my kids and grandbabies dealing with eczema. Also, I created a custom scent for my butter and oil and I named it "No Pomblems!". It smells sooooooo good! The staff loved it so much too! Everyone was so nice and friendly. My experience was top tier! Can't wait to go back.

When I went in, Nate greeted me and made me feel very welcome. The store looked like a one room Wonka Factory for soap. They have every kind of soap you can think of. They sell all natural soaps, laundry detergent, lotion and even soap for your pets. I felt very pampered. Thanks Nate.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Bharti & team…read more I can not say enough good things about Dr. Bharti & team. I came to Dr. B with 17 year old saline implants & concerns of possible BII. I had an autoimmune antibody number and systemic inflammation that equaled about 7-10 lbs on the scale, and being in the functional medicine field, I did everything I knew to help my body with its health. Of course I was apprehensive to removing the implants, and spoke to Dr. B about doing an explant capsulectomy w/ replacing the saline implants first, to see if it helped my issues. He thought this was a logical option, and, if it didn't correct my issues within the first year, he said we could then do an explant w/ fat transfer. I thought this was a great solution! My surgery on 9/1/2021 was a success. The whole team was amazing, nice, and made me feel at ease. 10 days after my surgery was when the trouble began. I knew I was in pain, and unbeknownst to me, I had a fast bleeding hematoma in the right breast. When I called Dr. B's nurses, they asked me send pictures and called me back to tell me to get into the office ASAP. They stayed on the phone with me while my husband rushed me to their office. I was in terrible amounts of pain by the time we got to the car. Once at the office, Dr. B had me put under and opened up within 5 minutes of arriving to their Huntersville location. It was super scary! He reopened the right side scar, removed the implant, fixed the artery that was bleeding and put me back together. Dr. B thanked my husband for getting me there so quickly. He explained to us that a hematoma can happen for unknown reasons, and the key is getting it found and cauterized ASAP. That was a traumatic situation, and it took me a bit to heal from that. Dr. B wanted to see me 2 times a week and he took lots of extra time with me and my husband. All was going along fine, and 10 days later, my left side had a slow bleeding hematoma. Dr. B had to reopen me back up on the left side to cauterize the slow bleeding vein, then sew me back up again. This one was not scary, because it was slowly bleeding. The recovery from this one was easier, however, due to my sensitive situation, Dr. B had me coming into the office every week to see him for follow ups. At this point, I was becoming good friends with all of the staff and sent Dr. B & team flowers for taking such good care of me during my unusual recovery. Even though my experience was unorthodox, Dr. B made it right and treated me extremely well during all of this. He just wanted to make sure I was okay and my surgery would be a success. He truly shows his care for you as a human, not just a patient. Which is hard to come by. Why did I have two hematoma bleeds you ask? After doing my own studies, I do believe it has to do with having a severe case of Covid 4 weeks prior to surgery. Covid can make your veins "seep blood". My advice, wait at least 6 months after having Covid to have a surgery. As far as my results... My scars have been cut out and restitched 2 times on each side. Dr. B's work is incredible! The placement of the scar is perfect and his stitch work is highly skilled. My autoimmune number has been cut in 1/2! And ...up to this point this is the first real movement I have had in 5 years since tracking this number. My inflammation also seems to have reduced as well, which is great news! I am super happy with my new implants and the work Dr. Bharti has done to help me with this whole experience! From how he treats you as a human (not just a patient) to the highly skilled work he performs - I would recommend Dr. Bharti to anyone.

There's a reason that he's ranked so highly. I had a breast lift, extended tummy tuck, muscle repair and lipo to the flanks. I couldn't be happier with the results!

If your looking for "Excellent Results ", you need to head to the Absolutely BEST Doctor in…read moreHuntersville, NC . at H.K.B. Plastic Surgery! Dr. Joseph Hunstad!!! In April 2019, I had a PurseString Gluteoplasty with a Medial Thigh Lift with Full Lipo of upper legs. The surgery turned out looking gorgeous as ever and the scars are super thin and with straight lines. :) This is a such awesome improvement, since a previous doctor left me with humongous and deeply scars. :( My very 1st consultation in January 2019 with Dr. Hunstad, I knew from just talking to him in the first 10mins, that I wanted this Outstanding Doctor to do my Surgeries from here on out. He gives that kind- hearted, and very natural comfort in his voice to you and seems to understand what you are wanting to accomplish and gives you his opinion , great options and will Answer all your questions without any hesitation. So intelligent! He always takes time with you in your appointments , so you aren't left hanging or on the edge with unanswered questions. I've been following him on Social media, for a little while prior to coming to my first consultation, I had a pretty good idea of his Wonderful Surgical work, when I stumbled across him on his Surgeries on YouTube , I just knew then, he was the one to fix, everything I needed Done. (Love watching those videos, ;) very interesting and knowledgeable. What I watched wasn't just good , they were EXCELLENT!! But even better than watching is seeing the Actual results on yourself :) Highly Recommend Dr. Joeseph Hunstad!! I am ecstatic, that I did stumble across this fine doctor. He did take Excellent care of Me in the Operating Room. And I put full trust, that I'm in good hands with him for no matter what surgery I'm having done that day. Not scared at All! His Aftercare was even better . He loves to keep a good eye on you.. I think , I came for several months afterwards it seemed , but that was OK..haha... I do enjoy going to see everyone..;).. Least I got to know the girls on 1st name bases :) But really truly, as many times, as I have been to the OR , with Cosmetic Surgeries from having done by a previous Doctor , that didn't give me good results , just a bunch of problems and botched scars , which I'm embarrassed of, and they have to be redone. I'm glad to finally find a doctor like Hunstad, that is a "Perfectionist" 100% in everything they do for you! That actually wants to make you look fabulous and takes his time with you , and not rushed , so your surgery will turn out Beautiful and look awesome!! I'm looking forward to Dr. Hunstad doing my next surgery, Full Tummy Tuck on October 2019..

I was 51 when I finally had my breast reduction and lift, but I've lived with large breasts since FIFTH GRADE. This wasn't some random cosmetic procedure I decided I wanted one day. I waited most of my life to do this. I wanted ONE surgery. I wanted to do it right, follow the instructions, heal and finally be done with something I had dealt with since I was a little girl. I honestly wish now that I had never done it. I hate my result. Looking back, I don't feel like Dr. K ever took the time to really understand what I wanted. He didn't measure me. We didn't have a detailed conversation about what size I wanted to be, how much lift I wanted or what I expected my breasts to look like afterward. There was no drawing out a plan with me and making sure we were on the same page. At first I thought he was just quiet. Eventually, I felt dismissed. I didn't know what I didn't know. I'd never had this surgery before. I trusted the surgeon to be the expert and guide me through the process. The night before surgery made things worse. I was given Dr. K's phone number and spoke directly with him less than 24 hours before my procedure about a medication I take regularly. My hairdresser was sitting there and heard the conversation. While I was trying to get important instructions about medication before surgery the next morning, his attention seemed divided by an argument or situation involving his children happening around him. He told me not to take the medication. So I didn't. I arrived for surgery with severe anxiety. Then the anesthesiologist told me something completely different. My recollection is that I was told anesthesia had explained multiple times that someone who takes this medication regularly, the way I do, could take it. Then I'm already prepped and literally about to be taken back for surgery, and I can hear nurses talking about Dr. K being in a bad mood. Imagine lying there about to be put under anesthesia and hearing that about the person who is about to operate on you. The anesthesiologist was honestly the one person that day who made me feel comfortable and cared for. The whole experience felt like too many hands in the pot and not enough communication. After surgery, I followed the instructions. ALL OF THEM. I wore the bra. I have basically lived in a bra. I even followed instructions that I later learned may not have been necessary because I was determined to do everything I could to get the best possible result. And here I am. I can STILL hold a pencil underneath my breast. I paid for a breast reduction AND A LIFT. I'm 52. I wasn't expecting the breasts of a 20-year-old. I wasn't expecting perfection. But I absolutely expected better than this. I'm unhappy with the shape and the amount of lift. I have concerns about my scars and I'm unhappy with areas around my upper arms and sides as well. But what really gets me is the follow-up. Where is it? Nobody from this company has contacted me to find out how I ultimately healed or whether I'm happy with my result. Dr. K hasn't checked on me. There aren't even proper after pictures documenting my final result. I feel like I became another person in line. And then I watched a friend go through this process AFTER me. She consulted with Dr. K and told me she was quoted around $30,000. She ultimately chose another surgeon and paid around $7,000. Her result is beautiful. But the money isn't what got me. It was watching what her surgeon did BEFORE surgery. He measured her. He talked about exactly what size she wanted. He drew everything out. He explained what he was going to do. He made sure they were on the same page. I remember thinking, where the hell was any of that for me? I waited from the time I was a little fifth-grade girl until I was a 51-year-old woman to finally do this. Now I may have to go through another surgery, another anesthesia and another recovery to get the result I thought I was getting the first time. That's exactly what I spent all those years trying to avoid. I don't want a generic response underneath this review telling me to call the office. I want someone in H/K/B management who actually has the authority to address this to contact me. I want my result evaluated. I want proper postoperative pictures taken. I want someone to actually LISTEN to what I wanted in the first place. And I want another qualified surgeon to evaluate whether this can be corrected and have a real conversation with me about what H/K/B is willing to do to make this right. I prepared. I followed the instructions. I gave my body time to heal. I waited almost my entire life to do this once. I should not be sitting here at 52 wishing I had never done it and wondering who is going to fix it.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. Before committing to laser hair removal, I…read morespecifically discussed my concerns as an African-American woman with coarse, dark hair. I was assured that my skin tone, hair texture, and ethnicity would not be an issue and was even told that my dark hair should respond well to the treatment. After completing six sessions, I saw little to no noticeable reduction in hair growth. Throughout the process, it became increasingly apparent that treating women with my skin tone and hair type was not something this business had significant experience with. Despite following the recommended treatment plan and attending multiple appointments, I did not receive the results I was promised. Because I was not seeing any improvement, I canceled my final two appointments. When I called, the receptionist apologized and stated that a manager would contact me. The manager did reach out, apologized for my experience, and told me she would speak with the laser technician to review my progress and treatment history. Unfortunately, after that conversation, I never heard back. There was no follow-up, no explanation, no concern for the lack of results, and no effort to address my experience. What disappointed me most was not only the lack of results, but the lack of customer care. Once my concerns were raised, communication completely stopped. It left me feeling as though the focus was on collecting payments rather than ensuring clients achieve successful outcomes. Based on my personal experience, I would encourage women of color, particularly African-American women with coarse hair, to thoroughly research a provider's experience treating diverse skin tones and hair types before committing to a treatment package. My concerns were not taken seriously, my results were nonexistent, and my attempts to seek answers were ultimately ignored.

Not a positive experience. Had a consultation and made it very clear what my goals were…read more Ultimately decided on a $2300 one-time laser treatment vs 3 shorter less expensive treatments. Took a few days off work to recover. Treatment was very painful and felt as if staff was annoyed that I was uncomfortable and could not relax. Two months later booked a follow up as I saw ZERO results. Dr Rosten actually agreed and suggested I do additional treatments at additional costs and time off work. When I mentioned that it was getting pricey, she shrugged and said it does cost a lot to look good. Will be seeking out more compassionate med spa or just stick with my wrinkles!
