The restaurant is owned and operated by Carlo Sica, and by reading the framed news articles adoring his walls, he's been making pizza for years! They have an extensive menu including traditional and gourmet pizzas, pastas, meat and chicken main dishes, soups, salad and desserts. The restaurant is B.Y.O. only and you can either sit inside the dining room or out on the footpath. It's a very quiet street with little traffic, and the alfresco seating is very casual and popular. We were just picking up our takeaway pizza on Sunday night and the outdoor seats were all occupied, and there were a number of older Italian couples. I take that as a sign this food is genuine and authentic. The pizzas were amazing - $20 for the family size pizza (13.5inch), $16 for the large (12inch) and $11 for small (9inch). They also offer free delivery for orders over $20. There are mid-weeks specials too. Tuesday & Wednesday it's 2 large pizzas for $26, and Tuesday through to Thursday, if you spend more than $30 you receive a free small focacia. For the sweet tooth, there's imported Italian Gelati and home-made Tiramisu!

Late last year we had a group of friends over for a catch-up and were looking for something to feed them and the kids and decided to grab a couple of 'Family' size pizza deals, we ended up feeding 6 adults n 5 kids for under $100 including soft drinks! Now whenever the group catches up, I have a feeling it is just about as much for the pizza as it is for the gossip. We were eating with a coeliac, so we ordered gluten free and when we received the pizza in a normal box, she politely explained that it was still gluten free but they were out of boxes, and we were really happy she said something because it would have just added unneeded stress. Wine and dips followed by 4 types of pizza, red duck pizza, the big chicken pizza, morrocan beef and the zucca pizza. I still can't decide which one was my favourite, I loved them all. And to top it off specialty made gelato. YUM. They have a very relaxed vibe and the Italian hostess/waitress was so helpful. Will definitely be coming back again soon. After a misunderstanding with a delivery…read moredriver, the staff took it upon themselves to harass and bombard their customer with phone calls, one day even adding up to 108 missed phone calls on my mobile phone, obviously which they deny (how surprising). The driver twisted and changed the truth to suit his own story so he didn't get in any trouble from his management for being careless, saying that the person who answered the door said the order had already been paid for via credit card in store and then got it delivered? The misunderstanding was cleared up a couple of days later, however we are still furious with the excessive and completely unprofessional way they handled a simple error, MADE BY ONE OF THEIR DELIVERY DRIVERS, not the customer. Will never be ordering from this place again (even though we were frequent customers for years), and will urge others not to do so in the future to avoid this atrocious business.
