We took the van from Cincinnati up to the Indiana Dunes State and National Parks. We had three adults and a dog and the space was ample for all of us. There is room for 4 adults to ride with seatbelts. The bed was roomy and comfortable enough for all of us. The van has heat and air conditioning while driving, but when parked, it is not equipped for temperature control. This requires you to be a bit strategic about where and when you travel. We were very comfortable in northern Indiana in late June with temps in the 80s during the day and dropping into the 60s at night, but imagine this could be very uncomfortable with warmer temperatures. The van is equipped with a camp stove that we used to make pasta and boil water for coffee. There are also dishes and a sink with running water. If you are not into tent camping, but want something a bit more adventurous than a hotel, the van life might be perfect for you!

I would give 10 stars if possible. Thank you Gary Green, Josh Green, Chris Diedling, Jim Brown,…read moreetc of Ultimate Toys and Rent My Sprinter. This whole journey started with a pop up window offering to own a luxury sprinter for free, or something like that. It seemed TGTBT aka "Too Good To Be True", I was skeptical every step of the way, just waiting for the hammer to drop, but it never did! As an entrepreneur I found the whole process fascinating, Gary is a franchise king and set this up as a way to buy a sprinter and rent it out like Airbnb, genius! The only stipulation is that you need to buy your vehicle through Ultimate toys, which Gary has designed 3 versions from experience in conjunction with Midwest Automotive Design, he makes 500 of these per year and the magic is the full sized bathroom and kitchen area with microwave, sink and refrigerator. I was a little concerned when there was reference to a Mercedes 2017 Chasis and truth is, that is the base of the vehicle, but upon discussions with other people in the business, this is common practice and since Midwest is considered an automotive manufacturer, my title will state a 2019 vehicle, but for insurance purposes, the vin identifies a 2017 vehicle, so I am guessing I will need to wait for the title to have that switched on my policy. As a "car guy" I have wanted a sprinter for 15 years, I thought about all the amazing things I could do with it, but could never pull the trigger, even though I have bought cars more expensive that didn't have the upside that this vehicle brought to me, so here goes, the upside..... I created an entity, an LLC for this vehicle, because it is over 6000 lbs, it qualifies for "Bonus Depreciation" which just means you can write off the entire vehicle in the same year as the purchase, no income required! (Not to be confused with 179 depreciation, which you need to have income to offset against). The purchase of this vehicle as a tax deduction far exceeded the out of pocket costs and the cost of financing and insuring for years to come! I very much intend to rent this vehicle out, Gary has created a partnership with the RV rental program company OutDoorsy, they do the background, credit card check on the renters and provide a $1 million policy covering the renters damage, liability, etc. I look forward to being part of something that Gary has created, he is a really great entrepreneur and I enjoy the spirit of what he is doing, it is like I bought in to one of his franchises for really cheap! Now for driving the vehicle, when it arrived at my home a few days before Christmas, it was night time, I got a text from the driver that he was in my driveway, and when I opened the door, it was HUGE, was this the biggest mistake I have ever made? Will I ever use this thing? Will people laugh when they see this thing? I was in shock, I moved it and decided to go in for the night and have a glass of wine to settle my nerves, then curiousity set in and I decided to sit in the back of my "Presidential" and as I sat in these beautiful seats, I put the foot rest up and thought about how this thing felt like a private Jet and how little it costs in comparison, but how big it is and who the heck would drive this thing???? That's when my son, who is 18 and a fellow "car guy" hopped in the drivers seat and said "Hey Pops, want a ride?" I thought, what the heck, if he could drive it, most other people could as well, and he took me for the inaugural ride, as I sat in the back and I had a glass of wine in my new luxury sprinter, which my kids had heard me talk about during most of their childhoods :). Thank you Ultimate Toys and www.rentmysprinter.com for making my dream come true, the journey has just begun and without Ultimate Toys, this would likely never have been a reality.

Watch out! Elite Taxi is as crooked as they come…read more To set the scene, picture an 88-year-old woman who weighs 88lbs that cannot see well enough to type her own review of this hustler. My grandmother took a cab from a Cincinnati airpot to her apartment (a 10 minute drive or 4.2 miles, to be precise) and was given a bill of around $20.00, nothing out of the ordinary. Somehow "Chris", using his Square app, managed to end up charging her $125.00, which she only found out about the next day. As far as we can tell there are only two ways he could have done this. He either input the incorrect amount himself or my grandmother accidentally added a "custom tip" (which seems unlikely given her eyesight and understanding of apps) and he did not have the decency to correct such a gargantuan error. Shame on you for taking advantage of the elderly! Upon reporting this error to the company more than one member of the staff admitted they were at fault and told my father the difference would be credited back to her account. Several phone calls later and my grandmother has still not received the money. The credit card company has also declined reimbursing her for it as the taxi company apparently claimed (to American Express) my grandmother was at fault. The owner "Dave" was supposedly too sick to call my father back (a tactic used by evasive business owners and lazy high schoolers), and now perhaps intends to put off my grandmother until she gives up or forgets. What kind of company behaves this way? Who would employ a cab driver that intentionally rips-off old women? Oh wait, I'll tell you! Elite Taxi, your local, crooked, unfriendly cab company.

I was simply calling to request that the management speak to the driver to request they be more aware of their surroundings, and drive more safely. I had even taken a picture of the car with the plate number so he could look up who it was in the taxi log. Max's response to me? "Ma'am, we have 10 drivers, so there's no way I could know who he is. I'm sure he wasn't driving too fast. I really don't care about your picture or what you think happened." This is UNACCEPTABLE customer service, especially when the safety of others is at risk. I was very kind and respectful in my request, and when I mentioned reporting to the authorities and BBB, he simply told me to "go ahead". Surely you people aren't that low.

When I called back from another number they answered right away but said maybe they'd have someone in our area in about an hour. An hour. We only needed to go from Mt. Airy to North Avondale. It's nearly 8 miles but that's not bad. We ended up having to pay a Lyft driver way too much for a 8 mile trip, even though I'm thankful he was there and was a safe driver, etc., and I know these taxi companies are complaining about Lyft and Uber taking their business, but then they don't even seem like they care for your business, or even block you instead of just say we don't have anyone avenue so please try someone else. Basic respectful customer service, even if you can't or don't want to take a customer, really isn't that hard. Didn't feel respected mostly from knowing I got blocked on the first call I made. Glad I'm just visiting plus I've only had to uber or Lyft like 3 times total. The predatory nature of the rideshare pricing makes it so I'll keep trying for a traditional taxi cab type service when the need arises and hope someone comes through as a good taxi sometime.
