Would not recommend. Resurfaced my concrete driveway and assured me that it would look like new. After first coat they said they'd return to finish with second coat. Never came back. Ghosted me. I live in an apartment complex in Pemberton, nj. They had budget paving fix potholes and repave the parking lot. Terrible job.. Each apartment had a numbered spot with an unmarked space next to it. Budget didn't correctly measure the spaces. Some are so narrow only a motorcycle would fit and others big enough for an 18 wheeler. They never replaced the apartment numbers so people are parking wherever they want. I work nights and I want my parking space free when i come home . A child could've done a better job. They left a mess and were rude. I only asked if apt. Numbers would be replaced and was rudely told maybe. If you're a homeowner please don't use this company read more

I would give this zero stars if I could. Never use this company. Dave rushed the crew and they did an awful job. He told us and reassured us he would cap and close the sprinklers under the new patio but he didn't so when we turned the sprinklers on, the water came through and caused damage to the patio. Also, the edges of the paver patio started to crumble not even after a year. They did the patio too high and it caused a leak into the basement window. Also made the patio uneven and puddles formed all over the patio. I had to hire another company to fix the horrible job they did. Just awful. read more

If it were possible to give fewer stars, I would. 1) They quoted one price and then tried to charge another. 2) They did not finish the job...and what they did was not done well. 3) After MULTIPLE calls, Dave finally called back with a date to fix the job. Wanna guess what happened? NOTHING, they did not actually show up. So to sum things up...there is no way I would every recommend this company to anyone. If I could leave a ZERO I would.. Contracted them after watching a neighbors driveway being done. All seemed fine since they had a spreader and used it on the neighbors drive. While inside I saw the dump truck drop the asphalt...Without the spreader .! When I asked the foreman about it, I was told the men didn't want to unload the tools from the spreader !! So now I'm left with a lousy driveway with large low spots & high spots . The low spots hold puddles while the high spots feel like speed bumps.. Avoid these hacks at all costs !! read more

What can I say, Dave and and his crew were the most professional, prepared, meticulous company I have seen. Not only were they able to come in a arguably the best prices around, they went above and beyond in every way possible to make me happy. The paver work is so beautiful that I receive compliments on it daily. Personally I'm a perfectionist, these guys were so concerned with their own work I didn't even have to ask or say anything, if they saw something that they didn't like, they made the changes on their own. They offered suggestions which I took them up on to visually enhance the look as well. Budget Paving is not your run of the mill paving company. They performed a full excavation of my yard, laid pavers (a lot of pavers,) stone, sod and more. I have a backyard that I'm proud of and I'm proud to have said that I hired Budget Paving and will continue to to tell others my story. I will be posting before and after photos just to show the excellent work they did. We recently had sidewalks installed and our driveway re-sealed by Budget Paving. We're happy with the sidewalks. They look great. However, the driveway is another story entirely! We didn't know it till he was finished but he used an oi-based sealer instead of a water-based on. Plus he missed spots and his equipment gouged the middle of our driveway! It looks horrible! He said the sealer would dry in about 24 hours and days later, when it still looked wet, he said to water it down because the heat could be affecting it. What a load of bull!! It still looks horrible. On top of that, he got sealer on our new sidewalks and on the concrete outside of our garage. When we called regarding the wetness of the driveway, we also complained about the sidewalks, the gouge, and the missed areas. He said he'll be out in a few days. He never showed up. Guess he didn't want to face unhappy customers. A couple of weeks later, he sent an employee to take out the forms. Without a doubt, this is the WORST sealing job ever! We'll have to fill the gouge and reseal in the fall. Plus we have to clean up the excess sealer on our sidewalks once they fully cure. Poor workmanship and poor customer service. We'll never use Budget Paving & Masonry again. read more

This is the first time I've given a negative review. Mr. Nicols installed my pavers almost 3 years ago and gave me a 5 year warranty. The sand between the pavers in almost half of my patio has disappeared and now plants are growing between them and the entire patio is starting to become uneven. I've been trying to get Nicols back out to fix this for two months now. The last time I called him, he again stated they were "very busy" but would come on Saturday "as a favor" and when I asked for a time, he hung up on me. Needless to say he has not returned a call/text. The warranty he offers is total baloney and if you have a problem, he will not come back to fix it. I wish I did more research and saw the other Google listing which shows other 1 star reviews. It seems once enough poor reviews come in, he changes his company name. Buyer beware. read more
